Happy Easter

Jesus Is Risen! Now that sounds religious enough, it sounds very religious, but what exactly does it mean and why should we care? He is God, so of course He should be able to rise up from the dead, so why is it so great?

At that time [when that day comes] you will know [for yourselves] that I am in My Father, and you [are] in Me, and I [am] in you. John 14:20

Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. John 15:4-5

But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17

Now you [collectively] are Christ's body and [individually] you are members of it, each part severally and distinct [each with his own place and function]. 1 Corinthians 12:27

Who died for us so that whether we are still alive or are dead [at Christ's appearing], we might live together with Him and share His life. 1 Thessalonians 5:10

Jesus allowed Himself to be killed, John 10:17, so that He could make us one with Him. So many freely talk about our salvation through Christ. We preach all of the time that Jesus saved us and most people really do not know what that means. They think that salvation means to go to Heaven. The Truth is so much greater then that. Jesus was raised from the dead so that He could make us one with Him. The glorious Truth is that we are now one with Jesus’ faith, Hebrews 12:2. We are now one with His love, John 17:26. We are one with His peace, John 14:27, His joy John 15:11, His wisdom, John 14:26, and His thoughts, 1 Corinthians 2:16. Everything that Jesus is and everything that He has, He has made us one with.

Because Jesus is risen, we are never left alone to do anything on our own. We no longer have to take the first step, so that our Father can take the next two. Because Jesus is risen there is no longer any condemnation, Romans 8:1. So we can now relax and have peace in everything. Whatever situation arises, we are able to rely and have confidence that it is not too big for our Father Who is greater within us.

Happy Easter and in the Name of Jesus the Truth of Jesus Is Risen will set the world free.

Philippians 1:22-24

22 If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference [I cannot choose],

23 But I am hard pressed between the two. My yearning desire is to depart (to be free of this world, to set forth) and be with Christ, for that is far, far better;

24 But to remain in my body is more needful and essential for your sake.

Jesus Alone holds the keys of death. The Truth is that no one dies, until Jesus allows us to die.

And the Ever-living One [I am living in the eternity of the eternities]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades (the realm of the dead). Revelation 1:18

Our peace in Christ is that we are new creatures in Him. So His Love and Compassion now dwells within us. This gives us the same desire for others that Jesus has. We can see this in what Paul is writing here in Philippians.

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Our peace is also that it is all of our Father’s power within us, all of the time. Our confidence is that we will be used 100% of the time to serve others, whether in life or in death.

And Peter, seeing it, answered the people, You men of Israel, why are you so surprised and wondering at this? Why do you keep staring at us, as though by our [own individual] power or [active] piety we had made this man [able] to walk? The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our forefathers, has glorified His Servant and Son Jesus [doing Him this honor], Whom you indeed delivered up and denied and rejected and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to let Him go. But you denied and rejected and disowned the Pure and Holy, the Just and Blameless One, and demanded [the pardon of] a murderer to be granted to you. But you killed the very Source (the Author) of life, Whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses. And His name, through and by faith in His name, has made this man whom you see and recognize well and strong. [Yes] the faith which is through and by Him [Jesus] has given the man this perfect soundness [of body] before all of you. Acts 3:12-16

Our life is for others. Jesus ever lives to intercede for others and we are now one with Him. So our lives are now for ever living to intercede for others.

Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Hebrews 7:25

Philippians 1:21

21 For me to live is Christ [His life in me], and to die is gain [the gain of the glory of eternity].

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? 1 Corinthians 15:55

As for my attitude, though I am absent [from you] in body, I am present in spirit, and I have already decided and passed judgment, as if actually present, 1 Corinthians 5:3

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection]. 1 John 4:18

The perfect love of our Father drives all fear from us. Probably the greatest fear that we have is the fear of death and the love of our Father drives it from us. His love not only drives the fear of death in regards to us, but the fear of the death of others as well. The fear of a friend dying, or a child, or family member is all driven out by the Truth that the death of the flesh does not end us. This peace keeps us and allows us to be used even during tragic events that end in death.

Love allows us to have peace that passes all understanding. Love causes us to understand that we are eternal beings and that Jesus has been glorified to give all eternal life.

[Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. John 17:2

Homosexual Marriage

So also [it was the same] as it was in the days of Lot. [People] ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;  Luke 17:28

The Bible teaches us that in the days of Lot, homosexuality was widely accepted and practiced in Sodom.

But before they lay down, the men of the city of Sodom, both young and old, all the men from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said, Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know (be intimate with) them. Genesis 19:4-5

So Jesus tells us that before He returns, homosexuality will be widely practiced and accepted, just as it was in the days of Lot.

Here is what I want you to remember: this will come to pass. We can pray that it won’t. We can complain about it. We can try to have it legislated against, but it will still come to pass. All of the laws in the land will not stop the Truth that before Jesus returns, homosexuality will become common place. Right now religious people are all up in arms over homosexual marriage. To fret about this is a complete waste of time. Laws will not change what our Father has said will happen.

So what are we to do? Grace! Where sin abounds, and homosexuality and homosexual marriage will abound, Grace will superabound.

But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God’s unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded, Romans 5:20

As all of this is happening the Holy Spirit will have us intercede for the lost and He will have us forgive them, and amen, they will be forgiven, John 20:23. It does not matter if they believe it, want it, or accept forgiveness. Just as it did not matter with those who killed Jesus. Jesus’ killers did not ask for forgiveness, they did not want it, they did not believe that they had done anything wrong, so they did not believe they needed it. Yet they were wrong and they were forgiven in spite of themselves.

Our Father told me this almost 15 years ago: He told me that homosexuality will become mainstream. He also told me that same sex marriages would be allowed. Then He said to rejoice over it. He told me that I was to be happy because it would set millions free. The Truth is that man loves to go against what they are told is wrong, Romans 11:32. When homosexuality is common place and gay marriage is allowed, the allure of being a rebel will be lost.

Also, many homosexuals right now do not have peace. They believe that they do not have peace because they are not totally accepted and that they are not allowed to marry. Yet, when homosexuality is widely accepted and they are allowed to marry, they still will not have the peace that they seek. This is when the true body of Christ, the ones who did not scream, mock, and condemn them, will be used to show the glory and peace of our Lord. It will be just like when Jesus set the woman who was caught in adultery free. Jesus did not condemn her, He just rescued her, John 8.

Don’t seek judges, politicians, or laws to accomplish our Father’s Grace. Just be patient, and when it looks like sin is abounding and the love of the so called Christians is growing cold towards the homosexuals, Matthew 24:12, our Father’s Grace will superabound through us and millions will be set free by it.

Philippians 1:20

20 This is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything; but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through (by) life or through (by) death.

We do not have to worry one little bit about ever being disgraced.

But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to say will be given you in that very hour and moment, For it is not you who are speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. Matthew 10:19-20

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. Romans 8:28

Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us. Romans 8:37

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere, 2 Corinthians 2:14

Our Father will always cause Jesus to be magnified through us in everything. It is always our Father’s power that is at work within us. He will always carry out His purpose through us of showing forth His victory for all through Christ. We are never left alone or forsaken by our Father to fail, Hebrews 13:5. Our Father has made us to be more than conquerors and His Love that flows through us covers a multitude of sins, not just ours but also the sins of those around us.

Philippians 1:18-19

18 But what does it matter, so long as either way, whether in pretense [for personal ends] or in all honesty [for the furtherance of the Truth], Christ is being proclaimed? And in that I [now] rejoice, yes, and I shall rejoice [hereafter] also.

19 For I am well assured and indeed know that through your prayers and a bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) this will turn out for my preservation (for the spiritual health and welfare of my own soul) and avail toward the saving work of the Gospel.

These verses show us a great Truth, our Father will always win, and we are now one with our Father through Christ, so we too will always win. There is not a false prophet or false teacher that can ever steal or destroy a true child of God. If they could, what type of Father would God be? What type of Shepherd would Jesus be? The glory of the Truth is that it will always overcome the wicked and it will always set us free.

And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it]. John 1:5

For God Who said, Let light shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts so as [to beam forth] the Light for the illumination of the knowledge of the majesty and glory of God [as it is manifest in the Person and is revealed] in the face of Jesus Christ (the Messiah). 2 Corinthians 4:6

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9

Our Father has chosen us to show the world the Truth that will set them free from fear. We have been called and chosen to show Jesus’ perfect love for all, 100% of the time. We are called to drive out the darkness of religious bullies. Our Father doesn’t use us to do this by accepting darkness, but by simply allowing the Truth of Jesus’ Light to drive out the darkness. Our Father doesn’t use us to threaten those in sin, He uses uses to show them His love and safety. His love that they see in us will cause the world to come around, no threats needed. Just look at Jesus’ life. The only ones He ever threatened were the religious tyrants who were oppressing the people with a bunch of phony laws and rules.

I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. John 17:22-23

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. John 3:17

Philippians 1:15-17

15 Some, it is true, [actually] preach Christ (the Messiah) [for no better reason than] out of envy and rivalry (party spirit), but others are doing so out of a loyal spirit and goodwill.

16 The latter [proclaim Christ] out of love, because they recognize and know that I am [providentially] put here for the defense of the good news (the Gospel).

17 But the former preach Christ out of a party spirit, insincerely [out of no pure motive, but thinking to annoy me], supposing they are making my bondage more bitter and my chains more galling.

The Truth is that many preachers and religious leaders are false.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. Matthew 7:15

BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized), Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth. For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving. For it is hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5

So how do we know who is truly called to preach the Truth and who is a false prophet? We will know them by the fruit that our Father uses them to produce.

But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. Galatians 5:22-23

Fruit is not a huge church building or earthly wealth. Fruit is exactly what our Father tells us that it is. Fruit is love. Fruit is patience, even when being persecuted. Fruit is being gentle while we intercede for the forgiveness of those who do not know what the Truth is. Fruit is running off religious bullies from a notable sinner and then not condemning them for their actions. You want to know who is truly called, look at how our Father has them act and treat the especially wicked. If they treat them as Jesus did, then they are truly preachers of the Gospel. If they treat them with harsh criticism, threats of Hell, and anger, then they are not true preachers of the Gospel. It is just that simple!

Philippians 1:13-14

13 So much is this a fact that throughout the whole imperial guard and to all the rest [here] my imprisonment has become generally known to be in Christ [that I am a prisoner in His service and for Him].

14 And [also] most of the brethren have derived fresh confidence in the Lord because of my chains and are much more bold to speak and publish fearlessly the Word of God [acting with more freedom and indifference to the consequences].

As people see our Father’s love super abounding through us, even for those who are persecuting us, they will be encouraged by His compassion for all men. It is a tool that our Father will use through us to show Himself to others.

And the grace (unmerited favor and blessing) of our Lord [actually] flowed out superabundantly and beyond measure for me, accompanied by faith and love that are [to be realized] in Christ Jesus. The saying is sure and true and worthy of full and universal acceptance, that Christ Jesus (the Messiah) came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am foremost. But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life. Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible and immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever (to the ages of ages). Amen (so be it). 1 Timothy 1:14-17

And you [set yourselves to] become imitators of us and [through us] of the Lord Himself, for you welcomed our message in [spite of] much persecution, with joy [inspired] by the Holy Spirit; So that you [thus] became a pattern to all the believers (those who adhere to, trust in, and rely on Christ Jesus) in Macedonia and Achaia (most of Greece). For not only has the Word concerning and from the Lord resounded forth from you unmistakably in Macedonia and Achaia, but everywhere the report has gone forth of your faith in God [of your leaning of your whole personality on Him in complete trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness]. So we [find that we] never need to tell people anything [further about it]. 1 Thessalonians 1:6-8

We who are the Bride of Christ will be persecuted, especially by false prophets, Matthew 7:25. But our love, which is Jesus' love living within us, will never grow cold for these people. Our Father will have us bless those that curse us and He will empower us to pray for those who despitefully use us, Luke 6:28. The Holy Spirit will cause us to forgive them and amen, they will be forgiven!

Philippians 1:12

12 Now I want you to know and continue to rest assured, brethren, that what [has happened] to me [this imprisonment] has actually only served to advance and give a renewed impetus to the [spreading of the] good news (the Gospel).

There is a great Truth in being the Bride of Christ and it is that our Father will allow us to be persecuted for His Name sake. This sounds crazy, but He also empowers us to take pleasure in it.

So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength). 2 Corinthians 12:10

Blessed and happy and enviably fortunate and spiritually prosperous (in the state in which the born-again child of God enjoys and finds satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of his outward conditions) are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake (for being and doing right), for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!. Blessed (happy, to be envied, and spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, regardless of your outward conditions) are you when people revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things against you falsely on My account. Matthew 5:10-11

As we are led to be persecuted it makes our revelation of our Father stronger and we are empowered to share the Truth in even a greater manner. Through persecution our Father’s Love also grows within us as we are used to intercede for those who are persecuting us. Persecution proves to us and others that we are actually empowered with Jesus‘ love, as we don’t stop serving those who do it.

But though we had already suffered and been outrageously treated at Philippi, as you know, yet in [the strength of] our God we summoned courage to proclaim to you unfalteringly the good news (the Gospel) with earnest contention and much conflict and great opposition. For our appeal [in preaching] does not [originate] from delusion or error or impure purpose or motive, nor in fraud or deceit. But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the glad tidings (the Gospel), so we speak not to please men but to please God, Who tests our hearts [expecting them to be approved]. 1 Thessalonians 2:2-4

This Truth is awesome because as sin abounds around us, our Father's grace superabounds through us, Romans 5:20. Our Father will never allow His love for all men to grow cold through us, Matthew 24:12, even during the end times.

Philippians 1:9-11

9 And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment],

10 So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value [recognizing the highest and the best, and distinguishing the moral differences], and that you may be untainted and pure and unerring and blameless [so that with hearts sincere and certain and unsullied, you may approach] the day of Christ [not stumbling nor causing others to stumble].

11 May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God [that His glory may be both manifested and recognized].

All scripture is given through Divine intervention, 2 Timothy 3:16. So this prayer is the will of our Father. It is our Father’s will that we abound in love and to insure that we do,  He gave us Jesus to live continually within us, John 17:26. It is our Father’s will that we have full knowledge and insight into love, so He gave us His Holy Spirit to teach us all things, John 14:26. Our Father wills that we be blameless, so He based our righteousness on Jesus, not on us, Philippians 1:11. And finally it is our Father’s will that we do not stumble and that we are constantly producing fruit. So He gave us Jesus to keep us from stumbling and to keep us productive, John 15:1-6 and Jude 24-25.

The prayers in the New Testament are not just wish lists of their writers. They are revelations into what our Father is causing to happen for us and through us.

Philippians 1:7-8

7 It is right and appropriate for me to have this confidence and feel this way about you all, because you have me in your heart and I hold you in my heart as partakers and sharers, one and all with me, of grace (God’s unmerited favor and spiritual blessing). [This is true] both when I am shut up in prison and when I am out in the defense and confirmation of the good news (the Gospel).

Paul did not have a different Grace then those who he was used to serve had and Jesus does not have a different Grace then our Father has given to us. We are all controlled by the glorious power of our Father, just as Jesus is.

Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]-- To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it). Jude 24-25

8 For God is my witness how I long for and pursue you all with love, in the tender mercy of Christ Jesus [Himself]!

The reason that we love is because Jesus causes us to love.

And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. John 17:26

During the end times the love of many false christians will grow cold.

And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity, Matthew 24:12

What is really powerful is that we do not have to worry about this at all, because Jesus dwells permanently within us. As sin begins to abound during the last days, our Father’s Grace will much more abound through us towards those who are sining.

But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God’s unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded, Romans 5:20

Philippians 1:5-6

5 [I thank my God] for your fellowship (your sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership) in advancing the good news (the Gospel) from the first day [you heard it] until now.

6 And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.

We are only able to believe and trust in the Truth if the Holy Spirit empowers and enlightens us to believe.

Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking under the power and influence of the [Holy] Spirit of God can [ever] say, Jesus be cursed! And no one can [really] say, Jesus is [my] Lord, except by and under the power and influence of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:3

We are also sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day that we are eternally redeemed from the weaknesses of the flesh.

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin). Ephesians 4:30

The Holy Spirit will cause us to believe in Jesus. He will teach us all things, John 14:26, and He will continue to do it until the day that Jesus returns and we are transformed to be just like Him. Now as we studied in our last posting, the Holy Spirit will increase His power and influence through man as the last days approach. The Holy Spirit will make the weak strong and the poor able to give what is needed to all men in their time of need.

And [how you] look forward to and await the coming of His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead--Jesus, Who personally rescues and delivers us out of and from the wrath [bringing punishment] which is coming [upon the impenitent] and draws us to Himself [investing us with all the privileges and rewards of the new life in Christ, the Messiah]. 1 Thessalonians 1:10

Philippians 1:3-4

3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you.

4 In every prayer of mine I always make my entreaty and petition for you all with joy (delight).

Look at how the Holy Spirit had Paul pray: always and for others. The Truth is that we are now one with Jesus, Who ever lives to intercede for us. We are now members of His body and flesh of His flesh. So we too are used by Jesus to ever live to intercede for others.

Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Hebrews 7:25

Because we are members (parts) of His body. Ephesians 5:30

When our Father needs or wants for us to have something, He has us sow seed to others, so that we can reap right along with them. This is why in virtually every prayer example in the New Testament, we are shown to pray for others and what they need. Even the Lord’s prayer teaches us to say give us, not give me. In Christ we are empowered to take no thought for our own lives. Through the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to only take thought for others and this mentality shows in our prayers.

Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? For the Gentiles (heathen) wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. Matthew 6:31-33

So if we need health, our Father uses us to lay hands on the sick. If we need faith, we are used to share the Truth that sets us free with others. If we need peace, we are glorified to help and aid others. So when our Father has us pray, He has us pray for others.

Philippians 1:2

2 Grace (favor and blessing) to you and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

It is a reason for pride and exultation to which our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [generally] and especially toward you, with devout and pure motives and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God (the unmerited favor and merciful kindness by which God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, and keeps, strengthens, and increases them in Christian virtues). 2 Corinthians 1:12

The word Grace actually means that our Father will cause us to be who and what He wants us to be. Our Father had Ezekiel and Joel both prophecy about this wonderful Truth.

And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them. Ezekiel 36:27

But [instead] this is [the beginning of] what was spoken through the prophet Joel: And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams. Acts 2:16-17

Look at what the Truth of Grace is: our Father will cause us to do what He wants us to do and this power will be poured out on all of mankind during the end times, Revelation 8:5. How awesome is that? We all look at events such as wars, elected officials, and natural disasters to see if the end is near. These things are not the signs of the end, Matthew 24:8. Grace is the only sign that the end is near.

And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end. Matthew 24:4

When we see the power that was exhibited through Jesus and even greater power, John 14:12, then look for Jesus to return.

Philippians 1:1

1 Paul and Timothy, bond servants of Christ Jesus (the Messiah), to all the saints (God’s consecrated people) in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops (overseers) and deacons (assistants):

Paul writes that Timothy and him are the slaves of Christ. What is so awesome about this, is what Paul is saying is that we are owned by Jesus, which makes Jesus totally responsible for us. Our Lord is responsible for every aspect of our lives. Jesus never leaves us alone to choose or believe anything on our own. So our peace and joy is that without Him we can do nothing, John 15:5. What gives us great hope is that because Jesus owns us, He personally rescues and delivers us. He doesn’t trust us to an angel or a brother or sister, our Lord takes care of us Himself.

You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for by Christ]; then do not yield yourselves up to become [in your own estimation] slaves to men [but consider yourselves slaves to Christ]. 1 Corinthians 7:23

I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks and lays down His [own] life for the sheep. But the hired servant (he who merely serves for wages) who is neither the shepherd nor the owner of the sheep, when he sees the wolf coming, deserts the flock and runs away. And the wolf chases and snatches them and scatters [the flock]. Now the hireling flees because he merely serves for wages and is not himself concerned about the sheep [cares nothing for them]. I am the Good Shepherd; and I know and recognize My own, and My own know and recognize Me— John 10:11-14

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Ephesians 2:8

Jesus freely laid His life down for us, so that He could own us. He so desperately wanted this for us so that we would be delivered from all judgment and be one with Him forever. We are free just as Jesus is free from defeat. He owns us so He had the right and the ability to set us free and who Jesus has made free, is free indeed, John 8:36.
