Revelation 21:20

20 The fifth onyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
  • Our Father had me study on the true meanings of these stones for days and to be honest I could not find anything that definitively described them or even came close to witnessing with my spirit as to what they actually mean when it comes to the foundation of the Wall of the New Jerusalem.
  • We can be sure though, that our Father is not a wishy washy Father Who wastes His Words. I am sure that all of these stones mean something very specific and have a perfect meaning as to foundation of His protection for us in eternity. He just hasn’t shown me what those meanings are yet. If anyone has a good study I would welcome the information.
  • Here is what kept coming to me as the Holy Spirit had me study their meanings: the High Priest wore a breast plate that had these stones in them. The stones were to represent each son of Israel, or the 12 Tribes of Israel.
  • So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart when he goes into the Holy Place, to bring them in continual remembrance before the Lord. Exodus 28:29
  • And onyx stones and other stones to be set for the ephod and the breastplate. Exodus 35:9
  • The stones represented the 12 Patriarchs, so our Father would remember them in Judgment. Our Father would forgive the children of Israel, just as Jesus forgave on the Cross. The foundation of the wall in the New Jerusalem is forgiveness for many different people, tongues, and tribes.
  • As I was praying the Holy Spirit reminded me of our study when He had us place all of the names of the 12 Sons of Israel in the order that Jesus gave them earlier in Revelation and what the names mean.
  • When each one of these 12 children of Israel, the twelve sons of Jacob, were born, their mothers, inspired by the Holy Spirit, spoke out a saying about them. It’s really powerful when we put together all of those sayings that were spoken for these twelve children, in the order in which they are listed here by Jesus. Here is what those sayings proclaim:
  • Praise God, He has seen my affliction, and His good fortune has come. I am happy blessed and to be envied, for God has seen my struggle and He has caused me to forget all of it. I was despised, but now the Lord (Jesus) is my husband and companion. God has given me my hire and my marriage gift, by taken away my reproach. And now I am seated as a son at His right hand!
  • The Wall defines where and what eternity is, just as walls define where and what a city is. The wall protects as well and when you place all of the Names and their meanings of the Sons of Jacob, who was renamed Israel, you can see a picture of the foundation of our eternal protection and place with God.

Revelation 21:19

19 The foundation [stones] of the wall of the city were ornamented with all of the precious stones. The first foundation [stone] was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony (or white agate), the fourth emerald,
  • As we have studied already jasper has several colors in it. Jesus sacrifice has allowed people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to be His Bride and the wall, or God’s protection, and our Father's protection is for all people. The foundation of our Father’s protection and mercy is that it is for all people, not just a select few.
  • Another powerful truth about Jasper is that it is plentiful. The foundation of eternities wall is plentiful; people from every tribe, nation, and tongue, a number that no one could count, and as the sands of the sea. These are all terms that we have studied about eternity and the guests that are allowed to be there with the Bride. The Bride may be few, but the guests are plentiful.
  • For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike]. Romans 11:32
  • When Moses saw the works of our Father he saw sapphire.
  • And they saw the God of Israel [that is, a convincing manifestation of His presence], and under His feet it was like pavement of bright sapphire stone, like the very heavens in clearness. Exodus 24:10
  • Sapphire is mainly blue, but it may also have green, grey, pink, and violet colors in it. Sapphire is a very hard stone and it stands for excellence and beauty. All things become new in eternity and all of the former things that caused death and pain are gone. This is a foundation of our protection in eternity.
  • Death and Hades will have been thrown into the Lake of Fire, Revelation 20:13
  • All things will be new when our Father comes to dwell with men, Revelation 21:5.
  • Chalcedony will actually brighten when it is under the sunlight. In eternity the glory of the New Jerusalem will be that life is lived for others and not for ourselves.
  • He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matthew 23:11
  • Emerald represents the purest faith and in eternity Jesus will be the perfect Author and Finisher of faith.
  • Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
  • Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Hebrews 7:25
  • In eternity everyone who is there will have come to our Father because of what Jesus has done for us all. His sacrifice will cause every knee to bow and every tongue to confess the Truth that will set us all free. Jesus will cause us all to live in the faith of love and love seeks out the well being of others.

Revelation 21:15-18

15 And he who spoke to me had a golden measuring reed (rod) to measure the city and its gates and its wall.

16 The city lies in a square, its length being the same as its width. And he measured the city with his reed—12,000 stadia (about 1,500 miles); its length and width and height are the same.
  • The staff is golden, so it is perfect, also remember that it is shaped like a Shepherd's Hook, so we are protected by Jesus. Our Father’s ways are perfect. The way that He measures us is always by Grace and Grace is perfect. It may be underserved, but it is freely given.
  • The width, length, and height are all the same. Our Father never changes, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • The number 1500 doesn’t seem to have any special meaning in other prophecies of the Bible. But 1500 miles is huge, the New Jerusalem is huge. Our Father’s power and Grace are huge, because they are for every nation, tongue, and tribe.
  • After this I looked and a vast host appeared which no one could count, [gathered out] of every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages. These stood before the throne and before the Lamb; they were attired in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. Revelation 7:9
17 He measured its wall also—144 cubits (about 72 yards) by a man’s measure [of a cubit from his elbow to his third fingertip], which is [the measure] of the angel.

18 The wall was built of jasper, while the city [itself was of] pure gold, clear and transparent like glass.
  • 144 is 12x12. We were told earlier in Revelation that there would be 144,000 Jewish evangelist and the number 144,000 represents jubilee. The year of Jubilee was the year that people were freed from debt. Our Father's wall, or His protection, frees us from all of the power, penalty, pleasure, and presence of sin.
  • The staff is golden so it is perfect. Our Father’s ways are perfect. The way He leads us is perfect. We have a perfect Shepherd in Jesus.
  • Jasper has several colors in it. Jesus sacrifice has allowed people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to be His guests and the wall, or God’s protection, is for all people. The New Jerusalem will be filled with all kinds of people, those who were good in this lifetime and even those who were bad.
  • And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. Matthew 22:10
  • In Jesus' parable of the Wedding Feast we are told that only one person will not be allowed to stay in eternity, Judas.
  • But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment. And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged). Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. Matthew 22:11-13
  • While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot—the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:12
  • You ever wonder why Jesus only said that one did not have the appropriate wedding coat in His parable and not that most or many did not have one?
  • A lot of people will say that verse 14 in Matthew 22, which says that many are called, but only a few are chosen, means that a ton of people get cast out of eternity, but Jesus only said one man in His parable. With all of the other verses that we have studied, I honestly believe that there is only one and to be honest I hope that I am wrong and that even the one will be able to stay.
  • Many are called to be the Bride of Christ, but only a few are chosen by our Father to be Christ's' Bride. But at our wedding celebration, which is eternity, we will have many guests, both good and bad.
  • Our Father’s protection covers many different people, just as jasper has many different colors.

Revelation 21:12-14

12 It had a massive and high wall with twelve [large] gates, and at the gates [there were stationed] twelve angels, and [on the gates] the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were written:

13 On the east side three gates, on the north side three gates, on the south side three gates, and on the west side three gates.

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundation [stones], and on them the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
  • We are told that the New Jerusalem will have a massive high wall. Walls define areas. Walls are clear to see. When there is a wall, especially a huge wall, you clearly know if you are in or out of the city, or when dealing with the New Jerusalem you clearly know if you are in our Father’s glory or out of it.
  • Wall's provide safety and our Father’s protection is massive.
  • I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one. John 17:15
  • There are three gates on every side of the massive wall.
  • The number three is used 467 times in the Bible and it means completeness. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • So on all sides of our Father’s wall, or His protection, His defining righteousness, is completeness.
  • Gates allow people in or keep things out. Our Father completely lets people in and He perfectly keeps all unrighteousness out.
  • Twelve represents perfection and power. The glory of our Father is perfect. His protection is perfect and powerful. He perfectly has defined righteousness and He has allowed us to be perfectly united with it all. We are all citizens of the New Jerusalem.
  • I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. John 17:23
  • The number twelve is used 187 times in the Bible, it is used 22 times in Revelation alone. The number twelve is considered a perfect number. It symbolizes our Father's power and His authority and it is a number that symbolizes perfect government, the 12 Tribes of Israel, 12 Apostles, and the 12 Stars in the Brides Crown in Revelation 12. We are shown that everything changes and perfection is going to be the normal when our Father actually allows everyone to know that He dwells with them.
  • So we are shown in these verses that there will be a perfect government in place for eternity. All men shall be treated wonderfully as Jesus Rules. Our Father will make all things new. There will be no more tears, anguish, sorrow, pain, or suffering.

Revelation 21:9-11

9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven final plagues (afflictions, calamities) came and spoke to me. He said, Come with me! I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
  • Because we are members (parts) of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:30-32
  • I have heard it preached that the New Jerusalem is the Bride. I will be honest I have a hard time believing that when our Father makes all things new that there will be a physical city where we dwell, because that's how we live now and all things are new. So the City may very well be a parable describing the Bride of Christ.
  • I do not believe that we will be given a physical mansion to live in as people say John 14:2 teaches us. If we are to be just like Jesus when He returns, as 1 John 3:2 teaches us, ask yourself this: does Jesus have a mansion that He lives in? Does Jesus need a physical dwelling place? I think John 14 is a spiritual thing that means that we dwell in a large place, or we dwell everywhere just as Jesus does. I believe that we will dwell in the hearts, minds, and souls of mankind just as Jesus does. I believe that we will be interacting with all just as Jesus interacts with all and I do not believe that there are going to be a bunch of physical mansions for us.
  • I could be wrong, but I think that what our Father has for us is far greater then the worldly physical things that we are told to avoid now.
  • There may be a physical city our guest can come to, but that is the kind of thing that people do now. So I tend to believe that the New Jerusalem is a spiritual thing that is described to us in physical terms. It may be the Bride or just the power and glory of our Father.
10 Then in the Spirit He conveyed me away to a vast and lofty mountain and exhibited to me the holy (hallowed, consecrated) city of Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God.
11 Clothed in God’s glory [in all its splendor and radiance]. The luster of it resembled a rare and most precious jewel, like jasper, shining clear as crystal.
  • The city will have our Fathers glory in it. It will be a great place, but our Father’s glory transcends a physical place, our Father’s glory is everywhere, all of the time, and when He returns it will be with all men.
  • Jasper has several colors in it. Jesus sacrifice has allowed people from every tribe, tongue, and nation to be His Bride and the city, or God’s glory, will allow all people, wherever they came from to enter it and experience it.
  • The New Jerusalem is also crystal clear. There will be nothing hidden any more. Our Father would that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth.
  • Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth. 1Timothy 2:4
  • Take note! I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet and learn and acknowledge that I have loved you. Revelation 3:9
  • Here we are shown that all nations and all peoples will be enlightened when our Father makes all things new. Here is where all will come to know the Truth and the Truth will set them free.
  • And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. John 8:32
  • I have always been taught that this New City is a physical thing. We would sing just build my mansion, just over that hill side, but I think it is going to be far different then what I was ever taught.

Revelation 21:8

8 But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, and as for murderers and the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolaters (those who give supreme devotion to anyone or anything other than God) and all liars (those who knowingly convey untruth by word or deed)—[all of these shall have] their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone. This is the second death.
  • If we just would read this verse alone it sounds like Hell will be filled with tons of people. But let’s look at what the Bible tells us about Judgment Day.
  • For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God [acknowledge Him to His honor and to His praise]. Romans 14:11
  • We are taught that to be saved a person must believe in their hearts and confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord. Romans 14 shows us that on Judgment Day everyone will do this.
  • Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
  • We are shown in Revelation 3 that those of the synagogue of satan will come and learn from us. They will clearly see the New Heaven and the New Jerusalem. They will clearly see Jesus and our Father, so it will be very easy for all to believe.
  • We are told in Romans 11:32 that our Father has consigned all men to disobedience so that He is able to have mercy on all men alike.
  • We are shown in Romans 5:18 that because of Jesus’ success that all men will be saved.
  • We are also shown in 1 Corinthians 3:15 that even if a persons works are wrong, the person will themselves be saved as ones who have passed through the fire.
  • So how can all of these verses be true and people still have their part in the Lake of Fire?
  • His winnowing fan (shovel, fork) is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out and clean His threshing floor and gather and store His wheat in His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with fire that cannot be put out. Matthew 3:12
  • What is chaff? Chaff is the dry scaly casing that covers the seed. The chaff is useless for food, so it is cleared away from the seed and then the useful part of the plant is all that is left. Chaff is part of wheat, it is not something on its own, all wheat has chaff.
  • We all at one time or another have been cowards. We all have looked at another person and lusted, and Jesus tells us that is adultery. We all have been angry at another person and Jesus tells us that is murder. We all have lied at one time or another. So we have all done these things that we are shown in verse 8. What keeps us from being part of the Lake of Fire? Grace does and Grace is freely given by Jesus. Some of us realize this now, some of us will realize it on Judgment Day, but we all will realize it and eternity, or the Wedding Feast, will be filled with the Bride of Christ and with guests.
  • We all have a part in the Lake of Fire because we all have works, or chaff, that will be cleared from us and thrown into it. We won't be thrown into it, just our evil works will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.
  • Not all of us will be the Bride of Christ, some of us will be guests, but Jesus will give eternal life to all that He has been given and He has been given all of us.
  • [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. John 17:2
  • Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth. 1 Timothy 2:4

Revelation 21:6-7

6 And He [further] said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I [Myself] will give water without price from the fountain (springs) of the water of Life.

·         Jesus is our Shepherd, He is our Head, and He is our Vine, He ever lives to serve us, or give us water freely. That is what makes Him the greatest.

·         Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Hebrews 7:25

·        With a view to this we toil and strive, [yes and] [a]suffer reproach, because we have [fixed our] hope on the living God, Who is the Savior (Preserver, Maintainer, Deliverer) of all men, especially of those who believe (trust in, rely on, and adhere to Him). 1 Timothy 4:10

·         He who is greatest among you shall be your servant. Matthew 23:11

·         Jesus gives to all of us freely. Grace is free, it cannot be earned. Jesus always gave grace freely. He healed those who would later scream for His crucifixion. He fed those who did not believe Him. He forgave those who killed Him and Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever He never changes.

7 He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son.
  • Jesus was victorious and He has control over al flesh.
  • All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known. Matthew 11:27
  • For He [the Father] has put all things in subjection under His [Christ’s] feet. But when it says, All things are put in subjection [under Him], it is evident that He [Himself] is excepted Who does the subjecting of all things to Him. However, when everything is subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will also subject Himself to [the Father] Who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all [be everything to everyone, supreme, the indwelling and controlling factor of life]. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
  • Jesus has inherited all things, mankind is part of all things.
  • [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. John 17:2
  • The Truth is Jesus never changes.
  • Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages). Hebrews 13:8
  • In the Gospels did Jesus ever damn a person? He didn't, where sin abounded His grace much more abounded. This character trait of Jesus will not change on Judgment Day.
  • Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men. Romans 5:18
  • For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike]. Romans 11:32
  • And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. Matthew 22:10
  • Jesus was very successful and all of mankind is and will be the benefactors of His success.

Revelation 21:4-5

4 God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more, neither shall there be anguish (sorrow and mourning) nor grief nor pain any more, for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.
  • We are told here that our Father will come and dwell among men and as the Truth teaches us when He does return believers will no longer be men. We will have been transformed to be something else a thousand years before when Jesus returned. We are told that we will be just like Jesus, Who was a man, but was raised up to be returned to His former state of being.
  • And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed. John 17:5
  • Beloved, we are [even here and] now God’s children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God’s children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is. 1 John 3:2
  • Our Father tells us in verse 4 that He will wipe the tears away from men. So there has to still be men, or mankind, around in eternity for Him to do this.
  • The Bible tells us in Jesus’ parable of the Marriage Supper that there will be guests in eternity. Now its easy to believe that for those who will be here with us that they will not have any tears, fear, anguish, grief, pain, or sorrow. It’s easy to believe that all things will be new for those that are on the new earth.
  • But, what about the Lake of Fire, or Hell? The Bible never teaches us that people are changed to be something other then men if they are thrown into Hell. People who are thrown into the Lake of Fire will still be men, and as verse 3 tells us our Father will physically dwell with men. We are not told that He will dwell with only righteous men, or saved men, we are told that He will dwell with all men.
  • So let me ask you this: how can there be people, or men, thrown into Hell, or the Lake of Fire, to be tormented forever if: sorrow, pain, anguish, sorrow, mourning, and grief have been done away with and all of the old things have passed away?
  • People will say that this scripture only applies to the new earth, but these verses do not say that. And as we will read at the end of Revelation, our Father tells us not to add to or take away from what He had written. So we cannot add just men on the new earth.
  • So if someone is thrown into Hell, they have to just cease to be, just as the scriptures tell us. Our Father is Omnipotent and if someone is thrown into Hell they are cast out of His presence, so they have to cease to be, because our Father is everywhere.
  • Such people will pay the penalty and suffer the punishment of everlasting ruin (destruction and perdition) and eternal exclusion and banishment from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 2 Thessalonians 1:9
5 And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new. Also He said, Record this, for these sayings are faithful (accurate, incorruptible, and trustworthy) and true (genuine).
  • Death and Hades will have been thrown into the Lake of Fire, along with satan. All suffering and anguish will have ended when our Father returns.
  • Think if there were people who were eternally suffering in Hell as we are enjoying all of the blessings of eternity? Could you enjoy that? Would that be new and wonderful? Do you really believe that our Father would enjoy that? Do you really believe that we could have unspeakable joy and peace as we knew people were being tormented for ever and ever.
  • Right now the only people who get joy out of people suffering while they party are dictators, creeps, and tyrants and we go to war to oust those people. But this is what many believe eternity will be like. That is crazy!
  • The Truth is where sin abounds grace much more abounds, Romans 5. The Truth is every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord and the New Earth and the New Jerusalem will be filled with guests.
  • Thinks of what so many believe Judgment Day will be like. They believe that our Father will force everyone to bow to Him, tell Him that He is Great, acknowledge Jesus as Lord and then He will send them to Hell to be tormented for ever after they confess this. That is what Kim Jung Un does in North Korea right now. That is what Hitler did. This is what all tyrants do.
  • Grace will do far more than most in religion believe it will.

Revelation 21:1-3

Then I saw a new sky (heaven) and a new earth, for the former sky and the former earth had passed away (vanished), and there no longer existed any sea.
  • Here we are shown when everything changes, this is after Judgment Day. The world does not change completely right when Jesus returns, it changes after Judgment Day.
  • The old earth, the worldly divisions, the death, and the sickness will be done away with after Judgment Day, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and they never will return.
  • Satan with his deception and evil will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and they never will return. There will no longer have to be a sky, or Heaven, that separates us from our Father.
  • The sea, or the small groups of people that were not part of the Truth will no longer exist. Everyone will be fully aware of and part of the Truth that sets us all free.
  • Over the years I have heard many who teach that the Lake of Fire is the earth and Heaven being burned up, but remember that the anti-christ and the false prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire a thousand years before Judgment Day! So the Lake of Fire has to be another thing that exists in another place.
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified and adorned for her husband;
  • Our Father will bring down a new Jerusalem, a new holy city. Later on in this Chapter we will see that the new Jerusalem is a place where people will be refreshed and invigorated. This may very well be a physical place or it may represent an entire new way for people who are not the Bride to be refreshed by the Truth, either way, it will be a place that serves the needs of mankind.
  • So I want you to start thinking of something here, if we will be changed to be just like Jesus when He returns, 1 John 3:2, who will need refreshed?
3 Then I heard a mighty voice from the throne and I perceived its distinct words, saying, See! The abode of God is with men, and He will live (encamp, tent) among them; and they shall be His people, and God shall personally be with them and be their God.
  • We are told that when this all occurs that the abode of God will be amongst men. Think about the word men, not saints, not the Bride, not the saved, but men.
  • Beloved, we are [even here and] now God’s children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God’s children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is. 1 John 3:2
  • Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. John 17:22-24
  • In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17
  • For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. Ephesians 5:30
  • Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
  • The Truth is that believers are now new creatures in Christ. According to our Father’s Word we are no longer men. Just as Jesus is no longer a man.
  • So here again we are shown that there are going to be other people in eternity, we will have guests who will still be men.

Revelation 20:13-15

13 And the sea delivered up the dead who were in it, death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) surrendered the dead in them, and all were tried and their cases determined by what they had done [according to their motives, aims, and works].
  • Once again the Truth is that everyone's works will not stand up. No ones motives or works will ever be counted as righteous.
  • As it is written, None is righteous, just and truthful and upright and conscientious, no, not one. Romans 3:10
  • So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groaning's too deep for utterance. Romans 8:26
  • For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike]. Romans 11:32
  • The Truth is that everyone would be judged guilty here if it wasn’t for Grace.
  • But if it is by grace (His unmerited favor and graciousness), it is no longer conditioned on works or anything men have done. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace [it would be meaningless]. Romans 11:6
  • Jesus has been given control over all flesh, all, not just some, not just those who believe now, but all flesh.
  • [Just as] You have granted Him power and authority over all flesh (all humankind), [now glorify Him] so that He may give eternal life to all whom You have given Him. John 17:2
  • Jesus has been given such control over all of us, so that He may give eternal life to all that He has been given and eternal life is to know God, John 17:3
  • Our Father would that all men be saved and our Father gets His way. Some have told me that He doesn’t, but show me in the Bible were it ever tells us that. Go ask Jonah if our Father gets His way.
  • So here is the Truth, everyone's name has to be in the Book of Life. Some have the reward of being the Bride of Christ, some have lost that reward, yet they are still allowed to have eternal life as our guests, 1 Corinthians 3:15. But either way Jesus was very successful at the Cross in insuring that all mankind will spend eternity with our Father, Who is God.
14 Then death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
  • Death will be done away with, so of course Hades will no longer be needed. Death and Hades will be thrown into the Lake of Fire and so they will cease to exist, just like everything that is thrown into the Lake of Fire will cease to exist.
  • For the Son of man came to save [from the penalty of eternal death] that which was lost.  Matthew 18:11
15 And if anyone’s [name] was not found recorded in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.
  • Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men. Romans 5:18
  • For the Son of man came to save [from the penalty of eternal death] that which was lost.  Matthew 18:11
  • These verses are intense I know. This Blog is just a starting point, it is not intended to be a complete study of the Truth. That occurs face to face, with a group of believers, Revelation 1:3. This is only a brief discussion of the Truth.
