Galatians 3:25-29

25 But now that the faith has come, we are no longer under a trainer (the guardian of our childhood).

I think that this is the major teaching of anti-christ: we have to wait until Heaven to be one with our Father. When the glorious Truth is that through Christ we are one with Him right now, at this very moment, we are one with God. We are no longer under a trainer, we are now eternally one with Christ. 

    

26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.

    

27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.

We have put on Christ, just as Jesus has put on Christ. We do not have to wait to be one with the full power of our Father, we are one with it now.      

28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

    

29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

Whoever has been born again has it all now, from the most mature one of us to the least mature. If God has birthed us, we are one with Him. The Book of Galatians is so awesome. Faith comes from hearing the Truth and the Truth will set us free. We have putt on Christ, just as Jesus has put on Christ. We do not have to wait. The message of the anti-christ will say that we have to wait, but the message of Christ tells us clearly that our Father is completely one with us now. The message of Christ tells us that we will be used powerfully and completely by our Lord this day, for today is the day of our salvation and now is our accepted time, 2 Corinthians 6:2.      

28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

    

29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

Whoever has been born again has it all, from the most mature one of us to the least mature. If God has birthed us, we are one with Him. The Book of Galatians is so awesome. Faith comes from hearing the Truth and the Truth will set us free. 

Galatians 3:20-24

20 Now a go-between (intermediary) has to do with and implies more than one party [there can be no mediator with just one person]. Yet God is [only] one Person [and He was the sole party in giving that promise to Abraham. But the Law was a contract between two, God and Israel; its validity was dependent on both].

    

21 Is the Law then contrary and opposed to the promises of God? Of course not! For if a Law had been given which could confer [spiritual] life, then righteousness and right standing with God would certainly have come by Law.

    

22 But the Scriptures [picture all mankind as sinners] shut up and imprisoned by sin, so that [the inheritance, blessing] which was promised through faith in Jesus Christ (the Messiah) might be given (released, delivered, and committed) to [all] those who believe [who adhere to and trust in and rely on Him].

    

23 Now before the faith came, we were perpetually guarded under the Law, kept in custody in preparation for the faith that was destined to be revealed (unveiled, disclosed),

    

24 So that the Law served [to us Jews] as our trainer [our guardian, our guide to Christ, to lead us] until Christ [came], that we might be justified (declared righteous, put in right standing with God) by and through faith.

The Ten Commandments had a glorious purpose for the Jews. The Law and the Ten Commandments all pointed towards our need for Christ, and Christ came, so the Law was fulfilled. There is no longer any need for it, Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith has come. He was victorious and now we are free and liberated from evil and the world. The law of sin and death has passed away for us.

For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. Romans 8:2

In Christ we now live under the Law of freedom and liberty, which states that all things now work out for our good. Now here is what may come when you preach this to a person who looks towards works and the Law. “So a person can kill someone and rape and steal and it will work out for their good?” The glorious answer is yes it will if they are called and chosen! Absolutely it will, look at Paul life’s.

You have heard of my earlier career and former manner of life in the Jewish religion (Judaism), how I persecuted and abused the church of God furiously and extensively, and [with fanatical zeal did my best] to make havoc of it and destroy it. And [you have heard how] I outstripped many of the men of my own generation among the people of my race in [my advancement in study and observance of the laws of] Judaism, so extremely enthusiastic and zealous I was for the traditions of my ancestors. But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was pleased Galatians 1:13-15

Paul killed and destroyed and God saw it fit and was pleased. Paul was called before He was born, our Father was using Paul even when Paul didn’t know he was being used. All things work out for a saved persons good, all things, even before they are born again. The Truth is this as well, all things work out for bad for those who look to the Law, the Ten Commandments, and works.

Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]. Matthew 7:21-23

The people who look to the Law and works will tell Jesus: “look at what we did,” and Jesus will say that He never knew them. True believers will always confess, just as Jesus did, “it is the Father within us, Who did His works.”

Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the ( His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power). John 14:10

Galatians 3:19

19 What then was the purpose of the Law? It was added [later on, after the promise, to disclose and expose to men their guilt] because of transgressions and [to make men more conscious of the sinfulness] of sin; and it was intended to be in effect until the Seed (the Descendant, the Heir) should come, to and concerning Whom the promise had been made. And it [the Law] was arranged and ordained and appointed through the instrumentality of angels [and was given] by the hand (in the person) of a go-between [Moses, an intermediary person between God and man].

Our Father never intended for the Ten Commandments or the any other Law, other than liberty in Christ, to be in effect after the Cross. That is such a great Truth and one that needs to be proclaimed from the rooftops every day! 

Having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. Colossians 2:14

Yet thieves have been allowed to creep in to the church and attempt to steal our liberty in Christ. Our Father has allowed them in to separate the wheat from the tares, Matthew 13:25. Those who have a form of godliness, but deny the power of Him, 2 Timothy 3:5, will grasp onto the Law and works and tell us how we must, as our faithful service to God, keep the Law and follow the Law. They will display the Ten Commandments boldly and preach on the glory of them. They will talk about our part to play and what we have to do. They will use words like duty, honor, sanctification, and faith, yet these words will always direct the power towards man and our ability to operate in them. All of this kind of teaching is all anti-christ, because it all focuses on man and brings the power to us and not to Jesus. 

Yet for those of us who are truly in Christ, the Holy Spirit reveals our Father’s freedom and grace in His Word. Both the wicked and the saved will read the same Words, yet without the Holy Spirit man will always read in what he has to do and not the Truth, which is what Jesus has to do through us.  

The Holy Spirit also causes those of us who know the Truth to be used to go into all of the world and share our Father's peace. Religion so often robs people of Jesus' liberty and we have the Truth that will set them free. 

Galatians 3:15-18

15 To speak in terms of human relations, brethren, [if] even a man makes a last will and testament (a merely human covenant), no one sets it aside or makes it void or adds to it when once it has been drawn up and signed (ratified, confirmed).

16 Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah).

Because we are members (parts) of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:30-32

So even though the promise was made for Jesus, we are now one with Him. The two of us are now one flesh. So everything that Jesus has, so do we. There is no separation between us. 

17 This is my argument: The Law, which began 430 years after the covenant [concerning the coming Messiah], does not and cannot annul the covenant previously established (ratified) by God, so as to abolish the promise and make it void.

What we are shown here is that Faith came before the Law. Abraham was empowered by the Lord to believe before there ever were any do these things and don’t do those things. Jesus authoring and finishing our faith came centuries before the Ten Commandments. Moses was given the Law, the Ten Commandments, 430 years after Jesus ate with Abraham and told him of the Covenant that God was making with him through faith. Faith has existed far longer than the Law and works. Faith also brings us peace and joy, while laws bring only condemnation, fear, and failure.   

    

18 For if the inheritance [of the promise depends on observing] the Law [as these false teachers would like you to believe], it no longer [depends] on the promise; however, God gave it to Abraham [as a free gift solely] by virtue of His promise.

    

Our oneness with Jesus does not depend on any laws. There is absolutely no work of our own that gives us life and there is no work or religious law that we must keep that keeps us alive in Christ. So many believe that laws help us live better lives, but the Truth is they do not. I have been in many churches and have heard many laws preached. I have also seen the misery of the congregations as they attempt to keep these rules. They feel condemned as they are told what they must do. These laws cause people to hide who they really are. They become phony with each other as they fellowship. They condemn others because they feel condemned themselves; they do this because misery loves company. 

The Truth will set us free though and the Truth is that there is now only One Law and that is Love. It is an easy yoke to be born and it is pleasant and not harsh, Matthew 11:30. It is easy because it is Jesus within us causing us to Love as He Loves, John 17:26. Christ causes us to be more then conquerors through Love, Romans 8:37. Our Father is Love and through Christ we are now one with Him, 1 John 4:8.  We cannot help but triumph in Love. The glorious Truth for us is that it is Jesus within us causing us to do exactly what our Father wants from us. We are never left alone or forsaken by our Lord, Hebrews 13:5, so there is now absolutely no condemnation for us, Romans 8:1. If there are any works for us to do, it is our Father within us doing them, John 14:10. 

Here is the message of Christ: Jesus Alone Is Responsible To Make Sure That We Succeed. 

Galatians 3:14

14 To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit.

Jesus came so that we could have exactly what He has, the full power of the Holy Spirit eternally dwelling within us, John 14:26. The power of God that made and makes Jesus Lord, the Holy Spirit, is eternally our as well. This means that we are now one with God just as Jesus is one with Him, John 17:19-22. There are no works that bring Jesus closer to God, because He is One with God, and this is what Jesus came to give us. Jesus was chosen by God to be Lord. He did no works to earn it, Jesus was just born the Lord. The glorious Truth for us is that we are now one with Jesus, Who is Lord, Ephesians 5:30. Jesus has given us the Holy Spirit, just as He has the Holy Spirit and now we are and forevermore one with God. No works can bring us closer to being one with God, because we are already one with Him. 

Think of it like this, can your arm do works that make it closer to your head? Or, did your arm do works to become one with your head? Your arm was just born as one with your head and this is how we now are in Christ. Your arm will do works, it will work because it is one with your head. Your head will direct and empower your arm to do what it wills. Your arm has no free will of its own. This is the end that Jesus came to give us. Jesus is not working to be One with God. Jesus is not working or keeping Laws to become closer to God. Jesus is not keeping Saturday's Holy. Jesus doesn’t have to not make idols to keep His unity with our Father and He doesn’t have to watch out and not lie to keep on being One with God. You may be thinking that Jesus doesn’t have to do or not do these things because He is not a man, He is God. That sounds Biblical doesn’t it, but what does the Bible actually have to say about it?

We are new creatures in Christ, old things have passed away, and now all things are new for us, 2 Corinthians 5:17. The Bible tells us that as Jesus is, so are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Our Father has Paul write that we are crucified with Christ, yet nevertheless we live, yet it is not us who live, it is Christ in us Who lives, Galatians 2:20. The Truth is that we are dead and our life’s are now hid with Christ, Colossians 3:3. Jesus also declared that we would be one with God, just as He is One with God, John 17:21-23. So if you are all about works and direct your attention towards what you have to do to show that you love Jesus, your end is destruction! This type of thinking is anti-christ, it is carnal and it comes from a carnal mind with carnal thoughts and it is against our Father, and it in no way pleases Him, Romans 8:6.

Our Father’s Law for us who are in Christ is liberty and freedom, Galatians 2:4. It is a Law that tells us that it is all Christ within us. It tells us that we are one with Him and we are always working together as one. The Law of Christ is that we are no longer alone, we cannot do anything on our own, because we are now part of the Body of Christ. If someone tells you that you have a part to play on your own, or that we are required to do something on our own, that is anti-christ! It is a lie and it is destruction, Galatians 3:10. The glory that we have in Christ goes so far beyond keeping Laws, it goes into being one with God. Everything that Jesus is and everything that He has, we are now one with. 

Galatians 3:11-13

11 Now it is evident that no person is justified (declared righteous and brought into right standing with God) through the Law, for the Scripture says, The man in right standing with God [the just, the righteous] shall live by and out of faith and he who through and by faith is declared righteous and in right standing with God shall live.

No person is brought into right standing with our Father by observing a day, by not building an idol, by obeying parents, by not lying or coveting, by not wearing certain clothing, by not eating certain foods, or drinking certain drinks. These things all sound religious I know, they sound very religious, but they are not what makes us right with our Father, only Jesus makes us right with God. To look towards yourself to do any work to gain favor with our Father slaps Jesus right in the face. It does because it takes what Jesus did for us and say that it wasn’t enough. The Cross isn’t the beginning point of our salvation, it is where it was finished for us, John 19:30. 

12 But the Law does not rest on faith [does not require faith, has nothing to do with faith], for it itself says, He who does them [the things prescribed by the Law] shall live by them [not by faith].

Those who place their trust in works, religious laws, or the Ten Commandments do not have faith. Faith tells us that it is all undeserved grace that saves us and keeps us. It is only when the Holy Spirit reveals this wonderful Truth that we will actually stop doing the things that we do not want to. As long as we believe that we must on our own do things, we will fail.  

13 Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified);

Jesus purchased our freedom completely. Jesus did not buy our right to keep the Law or to keep works. Jesus bought our freedom from sickness, from lack, from evil, from wicked people, from satan, from misery, from fear, from eternal separation, and from hopelessness, Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Jesus purchased our right to be used by Him to show the world that He is real and alive and that He loves them, John 17:19-22. 

The Truth teaches us that all things work out for our good, this is what Jesus purchased for us.

We are assured and know that [ God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. Romans 8:28

Think of the glory of what Romans 8:28 actually means for us? It means that even if we screw up, Jesus purchased our freedom to know that it will still work out for our good! How awesome is that? This clearly shows us that our eternal unity with our Father is not by works, it is by Grace. Our Father shows us that works are the responsibility of Jesus to do through us. Jesus is our Head, He is our Vine, and He is our Shepherd. He owns us and if we are doing things right, it is only because He is doing them right through us. If we are not, then it doesn’t matter for one second, because if it did, then all things would not work out for our good and Romans 8 would be a lie. If we are not doing things right it only means that Jesus has not caused us to do them yet. It doesn’t mean that we are separated from Him or that He stopped being our Lord, it only means that He hasn’t used us in that way yet. This is why we can so boldly say that there is no condemnation for us who are in Christ, Romans 8:1.

And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. Philippians 1:6

The Holy Spirit will cause us to be convinced with the Truth that will set us free. 

Galatians 3:7-10

7 Know and understand that it is [really] the people [who live] by faith who are [the true] sons of Abraham.

    

8 And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify (declare righteous, put in right standing with Himself) the Gentiles in consequence of faith, proclaimed the Gospel [foretelling the glad tidings of a Savior long beforehand] to Abraham in the promise, saying, In you shall all the nations [of the earth] be blessed.

    

9 So then, those who are people of faith are blessed and made happy and favored by God [as partners in fellowship] with the believing and trusting Abraham.

    

What the Holy Spirit is telling us here is that all who are empowered to have Jesus’ faith to accept and believe working in them, just as Abraham had our Lord’s faith working in him, are blessed and have eternal life. Our Father chose Abraham and He chose us. It is all grace and it is all undeserved. Our Father has the right to do what He wants with what He Alone created. 

10 And all who depend on the Law [who are seeking to be justified by obedience to the Law of rituals] are under a curse and doomed to disappointment and destruction, for it is written in the Scriptures, Cursed (accursed, devoted to destruction, doomed to eternal punishment) be everyone who does not continue to abide (live and remain) by all the precepts and commands written in the Book of the Law and to practice them.

  

All who depend on the Law, so all who depend on the Ten Commandments and works, are doomed to disappointment and destruction! Wow, go tell that to most churches and see what you get? What our Father is telling us here is to rejoice, we have Jesus, not works, to save us. Regardless of what Covenant our Father has had people live under, He has always chosen certain ones of us to be empowered with Himself to believe and serve. 

Galatians is such a great Book of Truth to destroy the lies of those who want to put us under bondage to works and laws. These wolves will try to steal all joy and peace from us by demanding that we do things on our own. When in all actuality what they teach will actually stop man from being used to do great and wonderful things. The only way that we will ever truly be used by our Father to work is when we stop looking to works. When we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to stop looking to things like what we wear, what we eat, when we eat it, what we think, what we say, where we worship, and how we worship, then we will truly be used by our Father to serve the Kingdom and the world! Only then will we be used by our Father to heal the sick, raise the dead, prophesy, forgive, love, teach, and preach the Truth that will set the captives free. 

I know the Ten Commandments sound like what we have to do, they sound religious and they sound like a good idea, but the Truth is they only lead to destruction when they are looked upon as the power that allows our Father to be in our life’s. When anything other than Jesus, even the Law and the Ten Commandments, is placed as the tool that we use to get to our Father and His favor and His grace, it is destruction! Jesus is jealous, it has to all be Him. He has to be in control of us or we can have no part of Him. He has to wash our feet and He has to serve us, or we can no part of Him, John 13:5-14. 

Galatians 3:6

6 Thus Abraham believed in and adhered to and trusted in and relied on God, and it was reckoned and placed to his account and credited as righteousness (as conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action).

Now ask yourself this question, did Abraham believe what God had for him on his own? Did Abraham adhere to and rely on our Father through his own human strength and ability to believe? No. Abraham was told by the Lord, as he ate with Him, that he was going to have a son, Genesis 18. Go and read Genesis 18, you will see that Abraham actually ate with the Lord. The Lord came down to Abraham and ate with Him! Then the Lord told Abraham what He was going to do with Sodom and Gomorra. Abraham was not left on his own to believe God. 

Our Father has always been the power that worked within men to inspire faith. The Truth is that the Holy Spirit worked through men even before the Cross.

The Lord said to Moses, Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand upon him; Numbers 27:18

And Moses said to the Israelites, See, the Lord called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; And He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and wisdom, with intelligence and understanding, and with knowledge and all craftsmanship, Exodus 35:30-31

The Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord delivered Chushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand and his hand prevailed over Chushan-rishathaim. Judges 3:10

For he (John the Baptist) will be great and distinguished in the sight of the Lord. And he must drink no wine nor strong drink, and he will be filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit even in and from his mother's womb. Luke 1:15

Our Father was active in people’s lives even before Jesus came and died for us. We have to remember the Truth, nothing exists that isn’t controlled by our Father. Whether things are seen or unseen, whether they are in Heaven or on earth, everything is controlled and has always been controlled by our Father.

All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. John 1:3

For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him. And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). Colossians 1:16-17

The Truth is that our Father has always been with us and He has always controlled everything. It just has to be that way, because nothing can exist without Him. So Abraham was not left on his own to believe our Father, just as we are not left alone to believe Him. Faith for us has always come from our Father and it always will. Even Jesus prayed in John 17 for our Father to glorify Him, so that He could in turn glorify God. The flesh of God required the Spirit of God to empower Him. If there was any flesh that could have done it on His Own it would have been Jesus, but even Jesus couldn’t. For flesh to have faith and serve the Kingdom it all has to come from the Holy Spirit, flesh on its own just doesn’t have the ability. 

Galatians 3:4-5

4 Have you suffered so many things and experienced so much all for nothing (to no purpose)--if it really is to no purpose and in vain?

   

5 Then does He Who supplies you with His marvelous [Holy] Spirit and works powerfully and miraculously among you do so on [the grounds of your doing] what the Law demands, or because of your believing in and adhering to and trusting in and relying on the message that you heard?

Look at what our Father tells us so plainly here: He does not act in our life’s because of works (not lying, not coveting, circumcision, not killing, what clothes we wear, how our hair looks, the amount we tithe, how we pray, keeping Saturday’s Holy, and not building idols), but He does work through us because of faith!

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

The Truth that sets us completely free is that our Father moves in our life’s because Jesus gives us and works His faith through us, so that He can. Faith is not our human ability to believe God, faith is Jesus’ ability to believe our Father working through us! Only Jesus will begin faith within us and only Jesus will finish faith within us. Faith is a gift given to us from our Head, we have no ability to conjure up true faith on our own.   

Galatians 3:3

3 Are you so foolish and so senseless and so silly? Having begun [your new life spiritually] with the [Holy] Spirit, are you now reaching perfection [by dependence] on the flesh?

    

The exact same thing can be said of so many of us today. Far too many of us look to works: wear this and don’t wear that, pray this way, go here, but don’t go there, keep this day holy, say these things over communion, tithe this and offer that, and so many other things of the flesh to better our relationship with our Father. These things and all of the other works sound very religious, but the attention and power of these rules all draw us towards man and not towards Jesus. We act as if by us doing these things, Jesus will become closer to us. Here is the Truth: the Head is one with the body, it can never get any closer than that! Perfection is not obtained by works, perfection is just a gift, it is given to us when the Holy Spirit births us, just as He birthed Jesus. Jesus was perfect when He was born. He was perfect because He was born from the Holy Spirit. No work made Jesus perfect, He was just born that way and through Christ so are we. Perfection is all because of the power of the Holy Spirit and we all have the same Holy Spirit as Jesus. We were born of a woman and of the Holy Spirit just as Jesus was. Don’t be foolish, silly, and thoughtless, we are only perfect because our Father birthed us again that way. We are perfect because we are now one with and perfectly united with our Father through Jesus, John 17:21-23, that is the only reason. 

If a preacher is continually harping on works, my advice to you is to get away from their teaching. I have honestly never met a happy person who is consumed with works. These people are generally very angry and want to know the specifics of what you are doing and they are usually very quick to judge. Their focus is always directed towards the flesh and what we are doing. They will throw Jesus in here and there to tickle our ears, but what is in the abundance of their hearts, is wanting to know what are we doing? I’d far rather hang out with people that bring all of the attention towards Jesus and what He is doing. 

Also, if someone wants to tell you how much they love Jesus by the works that they do, beware. Think of it, what would we think of a child that had to tell us how much they loved their father by the works that they did for him? That would be creepy and we would probably get Children Services involved. Look for fellowship that directs the attention towards the power of our Father that is in us, the works that He will use us to do, the glory that He has, and how He is greater in us than anything that is in this world. The Apostle John always said that he was the disciple that Jesus loved, not that he loved Jesus. There is so much Truth in what John wrote, our glory and power is our Lord’s love for us, not our love for Him, even tough we do live Him.

For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances-- Philippians 3:3

Such [practices] have indeed the outward appearance [that popularly passes] for wisdom, in promoting self-imposed rigor of devotion and delight in self-humiliation and severity of discipline of the body, but they are of no value in checking the indulgence of the flesh (the lower nature). [Instead, they do not honor God but serve only to indulge the flesh.] Colossians 2:23

Galatians 3:1-2

1 O YOU poor and silly and thoughtless and unreflecting and senseless Galatians! Who has fascinated or bewitched or cast a spell over you, unto whom--right before your very eyes--Jesus Christ (the Messiah) was openly and graphically set forth and portrayed as crucified?

   

2 Let me ask you this one question: Did you receive the [Holy] Spirit as the result of obeying the Law and doing its works, or was it by hearing [the message of the Gospel] and believing [it]? [Was it from observing a law of rituals or from a message of faith?]

We can ask ourselves the exact same question that Paul asked the Galatians: which one of us received the Holy Spirit by obeying Saturday as our Sabbath, or by not making an idol, by having no other god’s, by not coveting or murdering, by being circumcised, by honoring our parents, or by not lying about others? Be honest here, most of us were not keeping any of these things that our Father commanded the children of Israel to do when we were born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. 

Let’s bring the focus of this question into the religious rules of today and ask ourselves the same question again. Which one of us was saved and filled with the Holy Spirit by not drinking, by wearing certain clothes, by wearing a certain hairstyle, by going to a certain building on a certain day, by tithing, by offering, or by not saying certain words, or thinking certain thoughts? None of us were saved by doing these works. The Truth to grab hold of here, and it can only be grasped through the strength of the Holy Spirit, is that we weren’t saved by religious laws and we aren’t kept by them either. Our Father chose us before the world ever was and He birthed us right in the middle of most of us doing crazy and stupid things, just as He did with Paul, Galatians 1:15 & Acts 9:2-8.

No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day. Acts 6:22

For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith. Romans 4:13

Likewise, my brethren, you have undergone death as to the Law through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit for God. Romans 7:4

We were saved because our Father did it for us. We are righteous because Jesus now Authors and Finishes our Faith, Hebrews 12:2. And we are now dead to the Law and all religious laws except Love. Yet even Love is not ours to worry about, Jesus lives to cause us to Love with the full and complete power of His love, John 17:26. The Holy Spirit will never let us be fooled or bewitched by false teachers who claim that we must first do anything on our own or who place a bunch of so called religious laws before us to keep. 

Sin And Loves Reaction To It

And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity, Matthew 24:11-12

But then Law came in, [only] to expand and increase the trespass [making it more apparent and exciting opposition]. But where sin increased and abounded, grace (God’s unmerited favor) has surpassed it and increased the more and superabounded, Romans 5:20

Let me ask you this question: does our Father’s love ever grow cold? Did Jesus’ love grow cold as He was on the Cross, when all of those people who He had healed and taught cried out for His death? Absolutely not! The Truth is that where sin abounds the expression of our Fathers love, which is Grace, superabounds. The glorious Truth is also that we are now one with our Father through Christ, John 17:19-22. Jesus is greater in us, then the sin that is in this world, 1 John 4:4. 

The Truth is also tha Jesus ever lives so that we may always have His love operating within us, John 17:26. So it cannot be the Bride of Christ’s love that grows cold. If that where the case, it would mean that Jesus’ love was growing cold. So whose love grows cold during the end times? It is those who have a form of godliness, but who deny the power of it, 2 Timothy 3:5.

Our Father is having me write this because right now I am seeing a ton of very angry, so called religious leaders. These wolves are in sheep’s clothing and they are attacking those who they believe to be sinners hard. These men are saying that they are attacking because of sin. But the Truth is that where sin is, our Father’s Grace is abounding. We know who is of God by the fruit that our Father causes that person to bear, Matthew 7:16. The fruit of the Holy Spirt operating in our lives is: love, joy, peace, long suffering gentleness, faith, meekness, and temperance, Galatians 5:22-23. 

Homosexuality, adultery, abortion, fornication, murder, lying, deception are all sins. Actually anything that a person does without giving Jesus the credit is sin, Romans 14:23. These things definitely abound right now, so that means that Grace, which is all undeserved, should be superabounding through the true leaders of the Church. Look at those who call themselves elders and see if love, peace, joy, gentleness, and long suffering are superabounding towards those who are doing these things. If these fruitful things are not, then you will know that the person is a false prophet and is leading people into error. 

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, Hebrews 13:8. When Jesus came upon sinners, He loved and had compassion on them. He readily forgave them. He healed them. He did not cry out for our Father’s vengeance to be poured out on them. He did not preach that our Father would get His justice over them. Moved by compassion Jesus set people free and He is the exact same way in us today as He was 2000 years ago, and as He will be during the end times. Sin never makes Jesus’ love grow cold! 

Galatians 2:19-21

19 For I through the Law [under the operation of the curse of the Law] have [in Christ's death for me] myself died to the Law and all the Law's demands upon me, so that I may [henceforth] live to and for God.

In Christ we have died to the Law. That means that we have died to the Ten Commandments. For us to truly live for God, we must die to any notion that we must do anything on our own. The Ten Commandments and all laws require us to believe that we must perform a work on our own for our Father to then use us. The glorious Truth for us is that now through Christ we have died to all of those demands. We have died to we must wear this, or go to this building, or eat this. Now we serve in newness of the spirit through the full power of the Holy Spirit. We will be used by our Father to work, but we will never do anything first on our own or apart from God. 

20 I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Jesus is always God, He is just that way. No works keep Jesus being God or keep Him One with God and we are now one with Jesus, Ephesians 5:30-32. As Jesus is, so are we, even in this world, 1 John 4:17. I hope that you are seeing the freedom that we enjoy in Christ. Works did not bring us to our Father and works do not keep us with Him, Galatians 3:3. We will be used by our Father to do works, I am not saying for one second that in Christ we will not be used to do works, but what I am saying is that works do not in any way save us or keep us in Christ. 

The timing is salvation first, then being used by our Father to do works. The responsibility is all on Jesus to cause us to work, it is not on us, John 15:5. The Head must first direct and enable the body, the body does not first direct and enable the Head. Too many of us look to works. Jesus will lead us into being used, but it is all His timing and in His strength. Some of us may be used mightily and some of us may not, but we are all the body and we all enjoy the full and complete benefits of unity with our Father, Romans 12:4. Remember the parable that Jesus spoke of some people being used to work all day and some only being used to work the last hour of the day, and yet all were paid the same wage, Matthew 20?

21 [Therefore, I do not treat God's gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. For if justification (righteousness, acquittal from guilt) comes through [observing the ritual of] the Law, then Christ (the Messiah) died groundlessly and to no purpose and in vain. [His death was then wholly superfluous.]

Don’t frustrate the gift that Jesus came and gave us by looking to yourself for works. Relax, our Head has us exactly where He wants us to be. He may be taking us to a place that is far different from where we are, but each one of us, right now, is exactly where our Head wants us to be. There is no condemnation for any of us who are in Christ, Romans 8:1. We are now free in Christ apart from any works. 

Galatians 2:17-18

17 But if, in our desire and endeavor to be justified in Christ [to be declared righteous and put in right standing with God wholly and solely through Christ], we have shown ourselves sinners also and convicted of sin, does that make Christ a minister (a party and contributor) to our sin? Banish the thought! [Of course not!]

18 For if I [or any others who have taught that the observance of the Law of Moses is not essential to being justified by God should now by word or practice teach or intimate that it is essential to] build up again what I tore down, I prove myself a transgressor.

Paul was actively used by the Holy Spirit to tear down the belief that the Law of Moses, or the Ten Commandments, was essential for us to be justified with our Father. Ask yourself: how many teach this way today? Most will actually attempt to teach us that the Ten Commandments are absolutely essential for us to be justified. This false teaching takes away everything from Christ and places it all back on us. This way of teaching is the teaching of anti-christ. There Truth is that there absolute freedom and liberty in Christ. Why would anyone want to go back to laws that man could not keep or perform? The simplest commandment was to keep one day Holy and man couldn’t even do that. Our Father knew that we couldn’t do any of it, because our flesh was weak, so He sent Jesus to set us free from all of the law.

For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [ the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [ subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], Romans 8:3

Our Father knew of our weakness because He created us to be weak. We were created to be able to accomplish nothing on our own. 

For God has consigned (penned up) all men to disobedience, only that He may have mercy on them all [alike]. Romans 11:32

Our Father gave us the gift of freedom from sin, it is called grace. It is all free and it is all undeserved. The Truth is that as soon as the Holy Spirit empowers us to live in this freedom, the things that so many try to not do with their own strength, will actually stop. Our fruitless acts will finally stop when we are empowered to understand that we aren’t responsible to keep ourselves. These acts will stop, because it is Jesus causing them to stop. In Christ we look away from everything, including ourselves, and when we are empowered to do this, freedom and maturity are the results.

Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:11

Do you consider yourself to be dead to sin? 

Galatians 2:13-16

13 And the rest of the Jews along with him also concealed their true convictions and acted insincerely, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy (their example of insincerity and pretense).

14 But as soon as I saw that they were not straightforward and were not living up to the truth of the Gospel, I said to Cephas (Peter) before everybody present, If you, though born a Jew, can live [as you have been living] like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how do you dare now to urge and practically force the Gentiles to [comply with the ritual of Judaism and] live like Jews?

15 [I went on to say] Although we ourselves (you and I) are Jews by birth and not Gentile (heathen) sinners,

16 Yet we know that a man is justified or reckoned righteous and in right standing with God not by works of the Law, but [only] through faith and [absolute] reliance on and adherence to and trust in Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). [Therefore] even we [ourselves] have believed on Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law [for we cannot be justified by any observance of the ritual of the Law given by Moses], because by keeping legal rituals and by works no human being can ever be justified (declared righteous and put in right standing with God).

Thank You Father: We are not justified by the Ten Commandments. We are justified only by faith and this faith is not our own, it is Jesus’ faith which is active and alive within us. 

And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law's demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith. Philippians 3:9

Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2

We are not justified or used by our Father by us first keeping any laws. It doesn’t matter what our church attendance is or isn’t. It doesn’t matter how we wear our hair or what clothes we wear. It doesn’t matter if we can quote verses of scripture or we can’t. We are justified by Jesus and we are ever being led by Him. He never leaves us and He never forsakes us. Fake religion hates this freedom that Jesus has delivered to us. 

[My precaution was] because of false brethren who had been secretly smuggled in [to the Christian brotherhood]; they had slipped in to spy on our liberty and the freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might again bring us into bondage [under the Law of Moses]. Galatians 2:4

The circumcision party hated the freedom that Christ brought to us. They wanted our relationship with our Father to be based on our own works. The same hatred exists today in many churches for our freedom. But through Christ we are free at last, free at last, thank God through Christ we are free at last!
