Through Christ We Talk Like God

“He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself so to walk, even as He walked.” 1 John 2:6

I know that we have just begun our studies together on what salvation means and there is so much more that the Holy Spirit is going to anoint us to study about what we have. But right now, this very second, we need to desire in our prayer lives and in our hearts, that our Father begins to speak and use phrases through us just as the scriptures that we study do. Through the anointing of the Holy Spirit we should talk like our Father talks. We need to begin to desire to speak and use the Words that our Father uses! Words like, “today is the day of our salvation and now is the accepted time." Or Words like, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Our Father wants all men saved and He has given us a new heart and a new spirit so that we are empowered with His desires to want the same! And in Jesus' Name, those who come against us, will be as Paul was and they shall be saved. There is nothing wrong with boldly seeking and proclaiming openly God's Truths! We should talk like our Father talks. We are born of Him and He is alive within us; it’s our heritage, it’s who we are in Him, and it’s Who He is in us! Out of the abundance of our hearts, our mouths will speak our Father's Truths!

Over the next several sections we are going to discuss what salvation truly means. Before we move on though, ask yourself this one simple question, what exactly is salvation? Think about it, pray about it, and ask others about it. If your experience is anything like mine, you will marvel at what you hear. Even though the term is used in virtually every church service, and being used by Christ to lead people to salvation is the purpose and goal of all believers, it is often an extremely difficult question for some to answer: what exactly is salvation? Our Father is not a God of confusion; He wants each one of His children to be fully enlightened with all of His Truth. Our Father wants us all to know Him intimately, and He wants us all to be completely and accurately equipped with the Truth that will set us and the world free! Salvation is awesome; it for everyone, and it is now! We have been given the Holy Spirit to teach us all of the things that pertain to our salvation through Jesus Christ! We are all one in Christ and through Him we should be of one heart, one mind, and one accord!

Be blessed this day in the power of our Fathers might and through Christ, our Father is able to be all that He is within us this day! And hold on, because what we are about to study together will absolutely set us, our families, our friends, our coworkers, and the church, free. A-men!

We Now Speak WIth The Power Of God Himself

“Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

Our Father is now greater in us than anything or anyone that is in the world, and this Truth is how righteousness speaks! This Truth is what has been shed abroad in our hearts! This is the Truth that we have been born again of and it is what we have become one with! The Supreme Court is not greater than our Father, Who we are now in and Who is now within us! There is no sickness and no disease that is greater than our Father, Who is in us! Recessions or Depressions are not greater than our Father, Who is now in us! There is no terrorist or threat that is greater than our Father, Who is now within us! The US Congress, the European Union, the UN, or any President or Prime Minister is nothing compared to the Living God, Who has made us His Living Temple!

Jesus spoke to storms and they ceased! He told the devil to get lost and he fled! He told the dead to rise and even when they were still bound in grave clothes they came forth! Our Father spoke aloud and the people marveled at what they had heard and said that it had thundered, and Jesus simply said that God had spoken on their account and not on His. He spoke this way because He knew where God was. He didn’t need a sign from our Father, because Jesus had the sign to know where God was, He was born of Him! The people were all looking for our Father up in Heaven, but Jesus knew that He was right there, and that our Father was in Him! Jesus knew of the greatness of our Father and He spoke with that confidence, because it was our Father speaking through Him! Faith comes from hearing the Truth and the Truth sets us free, so that we too are able to have God speaking through us, in all of His power and with the full force of His grace, love, and virtue!

How Righteousness Speaks

"But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into Heaven? (That is to bring Christ down from above: Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed" Romans 10:8-11

A-men, we don’t have to go up to Heaven and get Jesus to come down here to help us! We don’t have to bombard the Gates of Heaven with our prayers to get our Father's attention! Our salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, gives us direct access and unity with our Father. Jesus hasn’t just given us access to God either; He has made us one with Him, just as He is One with Him! We are now members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bone. We are now the Holy habitation of God Himself. Our Father's righteousness cries out from within us that He is always with us. Our Father is always in our hearts, we now have His Spirit. We now have the mind of His Anointing. We are now actually one with God here on this earth!

“And because ye are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then a heir of God through Christ.” Galatians 4:6-7

Our conversation should reflect these absolute Truth’s! There is never a situation, good or bad, when we are separated from our Father. And out of the abundance of our hearts our mouths will speak! Now our hearts are filled with God Himself and the Truth’s that He has filled us with will set forth His righteous works in our lives! We are a glorious church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish and greater is He that is in us than anything that is in the world! Through the power of the Holy Spirit we are strengthened to talk and act like it!
