“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
Jesus was with God from the very beginning! He was One with God and to save us, He came to the Earth as a man, born of a woman. Jesus took on flesh, flesh that could be destroyed, flesh that could be tempted in every way that we can be tempted, yet through the power of God He stayed without sin.
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15
Jesus’ flesh could be destroyed, it wasn’t some supernatural flesh, it was just like ours and it was killed! Think about it, Jesus’ flesh had taken on every sin and every sickness that the world would ever have. Jesus' flesh was destroyed on the Cross and afterwards it laid dead and lifeless in a tomb. Then after three days the power of our Father's Anointing came upon it and Jesus’ flesh was quickened and raised up and lived again. The dead flesh of Christ was raised and made alive together with God! This is what has happened for us now that we are saved, our dead flesh has been raised up and made to be alive together with God!
“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.” Ephesians 5:30
We no longer live by the power of the flesh, we now live by the power of the Spirit of God dwelling within us. We have our Father's Spirit within us right now; we are one with it and He is above us, through us, and in us! There is now one body, one Spirit, one faith, one hope, and one love. It is all God and we are one with Him! Today is the day of our salvation and now is our accepted time. This isn’t some whacked out theology, think about it, all God is saying is that His Anointing has overcome the weakness of our flesh!
