7 And they are not all the children of Abraham because they are by blood his descendants. No, [the promise was] Your descendants will be called and counted through the line of Isaac [though Abraham had an older son].
8 That is to say, it is not the children of the body [of Abraham] who are made God's children, but it is the offspring to whom the promise applies that shall be counted [as Abraham's true] descendants.
Abraham served and pleased our our Father through faith, and the promise that was given to Abraham applies to all who are empowered to serve our Father through faith. Our Father’s Covenant is not based on a physical birthright, but a spiritual birthright. Just because a person is physically born a Jew does not mean that they have the promise of Abraham or share in the Covenant that our Father had with Abraham. To have the true Jewish birthright one must be born again of the Holy Spirit and this birthright is not a freewill choice of our own, it is a birthright that our Father chooses for us. Many are called, but only a few are chosen, Matthew 20:16.
For the promise to Abraham or his posterity, that he should inherit the world, did not come through [observing the commands of] the Law but through the righteousness of faith. Romans 4:13
We are told that Abraham is the father of many nations, Romans 4:17. This means that it is not only the Nation of Israel that enjoys the unique favor that Abraham had, but all who our Father empowers to believe and we are in every tribe, tongue, and nation, Revelation 5:9. We all may be in this earth, but we true Jews are not of this earth. We are the Bride of Christ and even though everybody is not chosen by our Father to be the Bride, we are allowed to have even those who have not been chosen to celebrate with us for all of eternity. We will celebrate for all of eternity with the good and even with the bad.
And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. Matthew 22:10
Jesus empowers us to love the people of the Nation of Israel, but the power of the Holy Spirit also allows and empowers us to equally love the people of the Nation of Iran. The Mind of Christ allows us to know that our Father is using Iran every bit as much as He is using Israel. All nations are serving our Father’s purposes and none of them have any power unless our Father has given it to them, Romans 13:1. There will be wars and rumors of wars, it is our Father’s will. This earth, as we know it, must end and there is a process to ending it. There must arise those who will incite wars and Grace allows us to love them even though they are cursing us and even though they are despitefully using us. Our Father’s favor towards us is what empowers us to love as He loves and serve as He serves. Our Father would that all men be saved and amen we are used to serve them regardless of whether they believe it or not.
