Test The Spirits

"Hereby we know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God." 1 John 4:2

Now there will be many who confess salvation, but remember the test, all who say Lord, Lord, are not necessarily saved. Just because someone says that they are a Christian, test them to see whether they confess that Jesus is one with them and that Christ is in their flesh; that is the test of true salvation. People may seem religious, but their hearts may be far from God, as 1 John teaches, they are the spirit of anti-christ. Jesus teaches that such people are wolves in sheep’s clothing. They may appear to be nice and humble, but if they are in any way denying the power of our Father within them, they are wolves! Look at how Jesus spoke to Peter in Mark 8:33 when he was just trying to be nice, “But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.” We are eternally accepted by our Father because of Jesus, anything different, regardless of how it may sound, is not of God!

Truly saved people are confident and bold because Jesus has made them to be. We know beyond any shadow of a doubt that we are eternally accepted by our Father. Those who believe they may fall away are trusting in their own efforts, their abilities, to continue to serve. But for the truly saved we know that we have been chosen by our Father and we know that no man, including ourselves, can pluck us out of God’s hands! We know that we have been born into the family and we know that that can never change. Many will say Lord, Lord, but those who say Lord, Lord and then tell you that we can walk away from salvation are of the body of the anti-christ! The Truth sets us free!

We Are Eteranlly Accepted

"My Father, which gave them Me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of My Father's hand." John 10:29

Here is another powerful example of the Truth that God, our Father, is playing the major role in our lives. No person can take away our acceptance! The Truth is that no man can take away our acceptance from God. But here is the question, can we take it away from ourselves? Can we at one time be accepted, and then later on remove ourselves from it?

"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you." 1 Corinthians 3:13-16
These verses just teach it so plainly, that once we are saved, truly saved, we are eternally saved. All of our works may not be so great, but our acceptance is sure and eternal! Our acceptance by our Father has been insured by Jesus Himself, not by us, “He hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Look at the first part of Ephesians 1:6, “to the praise of the glory of His grace.” If our acceptance was based on our personal performance, this verse would have to read, “to the praise of our ability to earn His grace.” Everything we do may not measure up, but if we have truly been chosen by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus as our Lord, God eternally accepts us. This is why we can praise the glory of God’s grace, it’s a free gift! Jesus’ sacrifice was that powerful!
For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] Romans 11:29

We Are Completely Accepted

"To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved." Ephesians 1:6

Do you think of yourself as really being accepted by God? I mean are you absolutely confident to walk right into the Throne Room without any guilt, without any fear whatsoever, and know beyond any doubt that you can and should be there, welcomed and expected? This is how we should think of ourselves, because the Truth is we are now accepted fully and completely by our Father because of what Jesus accomplished for us. We should think that our acceptance is sure because it is God Who has insured it; our Father is the One Who has made us completely and totally accepted. "Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." 2 Corinthians 1:21-22

Our Father has made us accepted, not our works, not our prayers, not our thoughts, not our moods, and not our church attendance, no physical action on our part has made us accepted. Our Father, Who is God, has sealed us with Himself. So my friends we are sealed and accepted and no man or no thing can take that away from us, including ourselves. Believing this Truth is not a burden placed solely on us. God is our Father and He plays the major role in creating within us a spirit and knowledge of our acceptance.

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6 “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” Romans 8:16 Praise Jesus, our Father has made us accepted! And thank God that He is the One Who is empowering us to accept it and thus allowing us to live in the fullness of it!

As a Father I am responsible to raise my children up in the way they are to go. If they doubt that they are my kids, if I don’t provide for them, educate them, or protect them, what type a parent would I be? If I allowed them into harms way, wouldn’t I be the one held accountable? What if I made them feel that they were not accepted to me, or as so many Christians feel about God, that they cannot be acceptable? I hope you are seeing what I am saying here? Our Father is right here with us, revealing Himself to us, showing us that He loves us, just as He loves Jesus. We are never left alone to do anything, through Christ we are now one with our Father. God actively has His hands and His presence in all areas of our lives! Even if it is an area in our life that needs cleaned up; God is the Gardener that prunes off the branches of our lives that do not produce fruit! Faith comes from hearing the Truth that through the power of Christ we are completely and totally accepted by our Father and nothing will ever change this Truth!

Through Christ We Are Pure, Even As Jesus Is Pure

"Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that has this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure." 1 John 3:2-3

Isn't the salvation we have in Christ wonderful! I mean look at how our Father sees us. We are the brides of Christ, and we are sanctified, not by our works, no way, we could never make it! Through the power of Christ we are set apart for our Fathers Holy use, we are free from sin, because we have been purified by God Himself. It is our Father's desire for us to be this way, so that we can be glorious and without spot or wrinkle. Our Father wants us this way so that we can be exactly like Him, here on this earth, so that He can use us to do greater works than He used Jesus to do, so that we can be His beautiful bride! (1 John 4:17 & John 14:12) A bride that allows the glorious and freeing power of her Groom to be revealed in all of its glory through her. Take that satan, we know who we are, we know who our Father is, and we know what salvation is and what is has done for us, so satan get ye behind us in Jesus' Name! We now know that we are the sons of God and we know beyond any shadow of a doubt that through the power of Christ that we are pure, even as Jesus is pure! We have been given the very Spirit of God, and the Holy Spirit causes us to abound in the hope of this Truth and Jesus Authors and Finishes our faith in this Truth. And we now have all of God’s fullness dwelling within us that allows us to live in this Truth! No weapon that is formed against stealing this Truth will ever prosper against us, because greater is He that is fully in us, than he that is in the world!

Greater love has no man than to lay down his life for his friends. Jesus laid His life down for us and it meant something! God is Who He is in us this day. Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us so that we are saved to the uttermost and God always causes us to triumph in Christ.

We Can Actually Be Like Jesus Is

"Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be; but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that has this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure." 1 John 3:2-3

I use to think that this scripture meant that when Jesus returned we would become, or transformed, to be like Him, yet that is not what our Father said. Look at all of the scriptures that we have studied together so far on this blog. We have seen that Jesus told us to be perfect even as our Father is perfect. We have studied that we are joint-heirs with Jesus right now. We have learned that we are like Jesus on this earth, right now. The Truth is Jesus is going to return when the church is like Him; we will not become like Him when He returns, but He returns because we are like Him. When Jesus returns the world will be at its worst. It will be the end of the Great Tribulation, yet the church will be at its best, glorious, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish.

Look at John 14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father."

Now for us to be used to do the same works as Jesus is almost unthinkable for so many of us at this time. But Jesus says that we will be used by our Father to do even greater works than He was used to do. The only way that we can ever do greater works, and we will, not because I said it, but because Jesus said it, is by us being like Him. Because when we are like Him, our Father will be able to work through us under the full power of the New Covenant! I have never heard of a person being used to do greater works than Jesus, but Jesus says that we will be used by God to perform them. So I believe that for this to be true that we will have to be like Jesus, as He is right now, not as He was, but as He is, and then He will return, 1 John 4:17. Jesus prayed that we would be one, even as He is one with God, so that the world will believe, John 17:20-23. Jesus is God, He was God when He was here 2000 years ago, and now we are one with Him. God came and joined with human flesh to birth Jesus from Mary, so if we can believe this, why should it be that He didn’t come and join with us right now? Jesus was perfect because He was born of God; we are perfect because we are born of God. We can be born again, because of Jesus sacrifice. The scriptures just keep saying it over and over, and faith comes from hearing the Words of God!

Pray about this. Even if you disagree that we have been given such glory, it should still be the goal of all believers to allow our Father to work mightily through us. It is not arrogant to desire to be like Christ. "He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked." 1 John 2:6 It is a goal that we can never achieve on our own, only God can conform us into the very image of Jesus. Only the Spirit can teach and guide us. Jesus told us to be perfect, so it is not wrong to desire it. Jesus is not coming back because of evil, He is coming back for a perfect church, Ephesians 5:26-27. "That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the Word, That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."

We Are Blessed With All Spiritual Blessings So That We May Be Perfect

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:" Ephesians 1:3-4

Our Father has blessed us with how many spiritual blessings? Our Father has blessed us with all of His blessings and He has done it so that we can be holy and without blame! And where do we have all of these spiritual blessings, in Christ? And where are we now? "At that day ye shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in Me, and I in you." John 14:20

We were chosen by God in Christ before this earth was even made! Everything Jesus has, we have, we are joint-heirs with Him, and as God proclaims, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:6 We are in Jesus right now and we have been raised up to sit with Him in Heavenly places, so that all, each and every, spiritual blessing is ours right now! There is nothing that Jesus has been given by God that we have not become one with through Him. “For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.” Ephesians 5:30

A-men we have been given it all by our Father. We haven’t been given just some of our Fathers blessings, we aren’t just partially filled with some of God’s blessings, through Christ we are one with all of them. The glorious Truth that has set us free is that God has given us all of His blessings. Shout it out loud, "I have been given all spiritual blessings by God Himself!"

So why has our Father not limited our blessings? Why has He given us all spiritual blessings? Well, just so that we can be holy and without blame of course! I hope you are not getting tired of hearing that we are holy, that we are perfect, righteous, sanctified, glorified, and joint-heirs through Christ, because we have so many more postings of scriptural Truth's from our Father that say we are. We will study every one too. No one will be able to say that we base our faith on a few verses and no one will be able to say we are taking these verses out of context.

We absolutely and positively have to lay the foundation of the gifts that have been freely given us because we have been chosen by God. Why? Because our Father wants us to have it all and the world so desperately needs us to be as God is on this earth. Let’s face it religion has failed. Abortion is accepted, we can’t talk about the Word of God in schools, divorce, sickness, homosexuality, and fear are wide spread, and how many different churches are there anyway? The world needs us to be what and who these verses proclaim we are in Christ, and with God, we can’t help but be! And before Jesus returns we will be! “That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27

100% Successful Through Christ

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” John 5:19

Jesus never said or did anything that He hadn’t first heard from our Father. Jesus was always One with God, so He could be no other way! And through the truly awesome power of Jesus, we too are now one with our Father. Through Christ we are empowered with God’s very own Spirit, so that we too can be successful 100% of the time. There is no reason that through the power of God within our lives that we can’t be perfect each and every day! Our Father can do through us what He did through Jesus and He can even do greater things, John 14:12! We have God Himself within us empowering us and leading us to seek Him out and God is empowering us with the Holy Spirit to be fully guided by Him. Pray what the Spirit tells you to pray, go where He leads you to go, speak what He tells you to speak. The Holy Ghost will teach us all things. He will take everything that is Jesus’ and He will show it unto us and then He will empower us to do it. 100% Success, 100% of the time, now that is producing fruit, and that is what glorifies God! Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, and through the abounding presence of the Holy Ghost within us, we can abound in the hope that God is willing and able to allow us to live fully in His power!

"Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends: for all things that I have heard of My Father I have made known unto you." John 15:15

God's power and demonstration through us should come as no surprise. We are His friends and we know what our Lord is doing. We are one with Jesus, He is perfect, and we are now His body, so we are perfect through Him! Let’s get use to that Word: perfect, because it’s what Jesus has made us! Through the perfecting power of Christ we are now more than capable of being successful 100% of the time! Jesus is plain and simple that powerful!

God Will Use Us Abundantly This Day

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." Ephesians 3:20

God is now able to do so much through us in Christ, and in Jesus' Name we are going to be used by our Father to do far above anything that we can ask for or think of! Through the power of God let's move on to perfection. God is able and willing to do so much through us. We are His chosen vessels of honor and service. He is able and willing to do more than we can even think of, and I will tell you one thing, I can think of some pretty awesome things! For one thing I can think of actually having the Mind of Christ! We are perfect, because we are one with the Perfect One; He has made us that way in our born again state. We know that we are the Temples of the Living God, and a-men, we know that God can do great things through us this day. We know that we can walk in power and demonstration of His Spirit. We are powerful in Christ so that all men will have their faith grounded in God, and not in worldly wisdom! Through Christ we can be used by God this day to raise the dead, heal the sick, tell the weather to be what it should be, love those who hate us, forgive totally those who have wronged us, share the good news anywhere and with everyone, see clearly and precisely the things to come, and prophesy the specific Truths of our Father that will set all of the captives of this world free! We are a chosen people and a royal priesthood. We have been ordained by God unto greatness and this is the day of our salvation and now is our accepted time in Christ Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Why Parables?

For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive.” Matthew 13 12-14

When Jesus spoke, He spoke in parables and it was hard and even impossible for the people to understand what He was saying. His disciples wondered about this, and here is what Jesus said to them. It takes the power of the Holy Ghost within us to understand what God is saying. And the Truth is that God changes not, so if this is how Jesus spoke, this is how God speaks, and our Father through the Holy Ghost inspired all scripture. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16 It takes the power of God within us to understand the power and freedom of His Word! “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26

It’s as we studied before, if we could be saved and then fall away, then we would have had the ability to fool God in the first place. It’s not that people are loosing their salvation, no, it’s that they never were saved in the first place. Outwardly they may have seemed to be saved, but God knows the heart! And we too will know each other by the fruit that the Holy Spirit produces through us and by the discernment that He gives us! The parables that stump man are clearly understood by the children of God!

Once Saved Always Saved

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. And have tasted the good Word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him in open shame.” Hebrews 6:4-6

We better hope the Truth is that once we are saved we are always saved. Because if these verses mean that with just one mess up, one chance is all we get, we are all doomed! But that is not what these verses mean at all, no! What this is saying is someone who has these things cannot fall away; because they have been sealed with the Holy Ghost until the day of Christ’s return. We were crucified with Christ, we have been raised up and made to sit together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and through Christ we are now one with God, even as Jesus is one with God. The Bible teaches that our bodies that could sin have been destroyed. I honestly believe once saved always saved, there are so many verses that say it, and the ones that people use to try and cast doubt, don’t. I just don’t believe God can be fooled by a false confession of faith, and God doesn’t give His power to liars and sinners; our Father knows our hearts! "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed you were marked with Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, Who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of His glory." Ephesians 1:13-14 NIV

Perfection In Christ

"Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you." 1 Corinthians 3:13-16

I have met so many Christians who believe they are falling in and out of salvation. One day they are saved, the next day they are not. 2000 years ago Paul was dealing with the same thing. He told the Corinthians, “Look sure your works will be tried, you will receive rewards and maybe losses, but you will still be saved, don't you people know who you are in Christ?” I marvel that we still have to preach the same message today. People still want to earn it, they still want to condemn, themselves and others; they still lack an understanding of who they are in Christ. But we have seen the Truth and the Truth has made us free! One of my favorite verses is Hebrews 6:1, "Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us move on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God." Perfection, God wouldn’t have written it, if we couldn’t have it! And through Christ we have it! We were just born again into it! “I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in One; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.” John 17:23

Preaching With Power And Wisdom

"And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor the princes of this world, that come to naught," 1 Corinthians 2: 4-6
God's Word should be preached with the power and demonstration of His Spirit. Read in the Old Testament, or the New Testament, and try to find a place where a prophet or preacher taught about God and there wasn’t something that transcended human abilities along with it. Moses, David, Elijah, Daniel, Samson, Jesus, Paul, or Peter all were used by God to show His greatness. God’s normal is so far beyond man’s ability. Noah, one guy and a couple of his kids built an ocean liner! Peter, even if just for a moment walked on water, in a storm mind you. So preacher’s lay off Peter and his doubt, he at least tried, and he tried in a turbulent sea! I think it was awesome that he got out of the boat in the first place!
Preaching with demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit is extremely important, it allows our faith to rise above worldly wisdom. People need to see that God still performs above and beyond any physical human capacity. Jesus warns against only seeking out a sign, but that does not mean that God does not perform signs and wonders to confirm His presence and His Truths. “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they will speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:15-18

True Zeal

“For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.” Romans 10:2

Most people in church are great people, they love, they want to serve God, they have good hearts, but they are wrongly trying to be righteous through their own actions. These people are nice, they do try, however, they have not accepted their unity with Christ, and therefore they always fall short and live in a constant state of condemnation. These are the people who we need to share the Truth with. Some will listen and some won't. Some will receive our message and some will reject it. But if we preach it, no one will ever be able to stand before our Father and say that we didn't try to tell them. We have the Holy Spirit within us Who earnestly desires to tell them the Truth that will set them free and through His power and abilities we will be blessed beyond expression.
Remember how many prophets that our Father sent, how many apostles, and how many disciples! Our Father had how many letters written, and all trying to tell us His Truth. It’s God’s desire, and since we are one with Him, it is our desire as well to share the Truth that will set people free! Our Father’s Spirit bears witness with people that they are heirs, and so does ours! We can’t be saved and not have a spirit that tells us that we are heirs of God. We are new creatures in Christ, old things are passed away for us, and all things have become new for us! Our Father, Who is God, is now greater in us than anything that is in this world. We have been born again of God’s Incorruptible Seed and our will is now to do the will of our Father Who dwells within us.

Our Father has predestined all believers to be conformed to Jesus’ image. As He is, so are we in this world. God has called us, He has justified us, and He has glorified us. Our Father has made us joint heirs with Christ and nothing can now stand against us from fully living in His blessings and being used to further His Kingdom! If we see it written in the Bible that it is God’s desire for us, than we know that it is ours desire as well. It’s just born in there, it’s what we are, it’s Who we are from, it’s our heritage!

Our Father will use us to tell people who they are in Christ and we will be blessed, blessed beyond expression as Jesus ever lives to insure that we have life and have it more abundantly!

We Are Conformed To Be Like Jesus: Justified & Glorified

"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them also glorified. What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:29-31

Once again look at the remarkable power that God is saying to us. God proclaims that He is the One Who conforms us to the image of The King of Kings, Jesus our Lord and Savior. God has called us, He has chosen us, He has justified us, and He has glorified us. So naturally who can be against us? God repeatedly proclaims through His Word that He has done all that is required for us to be one with Him on this earth.

Never struggle at trying to do something on your own to earn it, because the Truth is you’re never alone, through Christ you’re never separated from God. People who try and earn God’s favor and grace are struggling in vain; many unfortunately do struggle though. We don’t have to sit by and watch them, we need to love them, because if they were going to step in front of a bus, wouldn’t we do something? What we need to do is share the Word of God; we need to share these truths and the Truth will set them free. "How then shall they call on Him whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:14 Reading these verses will do so much, I have found that many people have never heard them, it’s a great starting point, and then the Holy Ghost to lead you from there.

What Is Jesus Suffering?

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together." Romans 8:16-17

Now I want you to ask yourself this question, our Father proclaims that we are joint-heirs with Christ if we suffer with Christ, so exactly what is Jesus suffering? This verse does not say, if we suffer what Jesus suffered, no, God says, if we suffer with Him, present tense. So what is Christ suffering? Christ is not sick. He does not fear and He is not suffering from economic problems. Jesus is not suffering from gangs or violence. Jesus is suffering, but what is He suffering? He is suffering people not believing Him. Jesus suffers people not accepting the sacrifice that He has offered and them suffering the consequences of unbelief. We are joint-heirs with Jesus if we suffer people not believing our Father's Truth. Jesus suffered this persecution when He first came in the flesh and He still suffers it today! This persecution is not only directed at Jesus but His body, which we are.

So far the Holy Spirit has led us in studying some pretty powerful truths in these posts. How many people though really have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to believe what we have studied? Unfortunately, not only don't most people believe what we have studied, but they aggressively oppose it. Churches have damned me for just putting some of these verses together in a conversation. I had a preacher hold his ears and say that he never wanted to hear me share these verses again. I was damned by a pastor, called a bastard by another, and asked to leave three churches. This is what our Father clearly tells us that we are to suffer for His Name's sake.

The sad truth is what we have studied is not popular. Its's not popular because people want to earn it by themselves. They want to glory in the fact that they somehow did something to receive these things from God. The world and satan want to condemn us for not measuring up, so we will buy their tape series, or their books to assist us in measuring up. They want to condemn us so that we may tithe or give some sort of offering to make up for our inadequacies. But the Truth that we have studied is it is all just a free gift from our Father. This is why Jesus is called a stumbling block: He made it so simple, and He made it so it could never be earned, and that is just not the way the world works. People stumble over this every day. But we are stable and fixed in the Truth, held firm by the Holy Spirit. Our Father, Who is God, is for us and with Christ, our Father can now use us to do all things!

Be simple this day in the power of Christ's might and just accept the free and glorious gifts of God! We haven't earned them! Yet, even in our humanity, we have received them all. We have been given everything: glory, sanctification, unity, power, ability, Truth, faith, and hope directly from the only One Who has them to give!

We Have The Holy Spirit Continually Telling Us That We Are Joint-Heirs With Jesus

“And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6

Now that we are saved, we have the Spirit of God Who tells us that we are joint-heirs through Christ. We are joint-heirs, we are not ugly stepchildren, we are not servants, we are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. All of His honor, we jointly share, all of His possessions we jointly share. “All things the Father hath are Mine; therefore I said I, that He (The Holy Ghost) shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:15 Jesus, who thought that it was not robbery to be called equal with God, is the One Who we are now joint-heirs with. We are now joint-heirs with the One Who said if you had seen Him than you had seen God. All that He is, all that He has, we are now one with!

That is some awesome stuff; words cannot even begin to describe the power of this Truth, we are joint heirs with Christ. Just think about the power of Jesus, who He is, what He can do, the love He possesses, the mind of service He has, what He has power over, and then say, yeah God said it, so I definitely am, a joint-heir with all of that, WOW! God gave it all to Jesus, He created Him, all that Jesus is, and all that He has is directly from God, and we are now one with all of it. Look at how God says that we will be when Jesus returns. “Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.” 1 John 3:2

You have to have the Spirit in you to even begin to think about it, because if you are just in the flesh, just playing religion, you will freak out over this. People in the church who are without the Holy Spirit will fulfill Jesus' prophesy over this. "They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doth God service." John 16:2 You begin to talk like you really are a joint-heir with Christ and watch what happens. But we are not those who faint and are destroyed by a lack of knowledge, and we do not reject knowledge as Hosea prophesied. No, we are now more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, we now have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us and He is praising God and assuring us all of the time that we are heirs, joint heirs with Christ! We have seen what a child of God is like in Jesus, and we now know beyond any shadow of a doubt that we too are the children of God, and as Jesus is, so are we in this earth! And we have the Spirit of God continually telling us these Truths that set us free!

We Are Joint-Heirs With Jesus

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together." Romans 8:16-17

The Holy Spirit tells us who we are in Christ. He tells us that we are God’s children, He tells us that we are joint heirs with Christ, He bears witness with our own spirits and we know, beyond any shadow of a doubt that we have been born of God. I can remember when I was a child; I never doubted who my parents were. If I was scared I was comforted, my needs were always met, and I never doubted that I was the child of Neal and Brenda Shull. I knew that I was their child not only because they told me that I was, but because I lived it, and they showed it. I knew that I was an heir and man did that make me feel great. I never lacked confidence, because I knew who I was, I knew who my parents were and I knew that I was safe and protected by them. I thank God daily that I had a great childhood.

And at the age of eleven I was empowered with the Holy Spirit and I became God’s child. And my abundant life became more abundant. I knew without anyone telling me that I was born again from God’s Seed. Even at eleven, My Fathers Spirit was bearing witness with my spirit! I hadn’t read about it, I hadn’t heard it preached at Stony Brook Methodist Church, but I knew that Jesus and I had become one. And God instantly began to show me that all that He had provided for Jesus was going to be provided for me. All of the knowledge, wisdom, peace, faith, joy, power, hope, and love. Sure I was immature and had a ton of growing up to do, and I still haven’t obtained it all, but the Spirit of my Father keeps bearing witness with my spirit that He will bring me to the fullness of what Jesus has provided! It’s just natural, I am God’s child and I am an heir, an heir with Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

It's Easy Being Perfect

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48

The Truth is we are perfect because we have been chosen by God to be one with the One Who is perfect. We have power because the Powerful One lives continually within us! Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us. We are set apart for Holy use, we are clean, pure, and free from sin, because God has chosen us and empowered us to be one with Jesus, and as Jesus is, so are we in this world. And the only reason that we have Jesus, and are one with all that He is, is because God saved us and empowered us with His very Spirit to accept Him as Lord. It’s an easy yoke and a light burden when God is the One doing it all through us!

The Word of God, the Word of Truth that sets us free, teaches us that we have been given the same glory as Jesus and we are not wrong for confessing this Truth, because Jesus is the One Who said it. The Word teaches us that we are as Jesus is, even while we are on this earth. Actually it can be no other way, because we are dead, and yet we live, yet it is not us that lives, it is Christ living within us, and Jesus is just like God, because He is God! The Truth of our Father shows us who we became when we were chosen and were born again. We were born again not of corruptible seed, but Incorruptible Seed. I hope you are seeing the Truth that our Father is showing us with all of these posts. Jesus sanctified Himself and we are now sanctified through Him as well.

You are a child of the Living God, you are free from sin, you are set apart for Holy use, you are pure, and a-men you are perfect. Go find a person that has the bumper sticker that says, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven," and tell them that they really are perfect through Christ! You see the Truth that sets us free is not looking to ourselves for the power of perfection, it is looking unto Jesus and acknowledging that our perfection and sanctification are solely based on Him! We are perfect, glorified, sanctified, and holy because Jesus was successful and only because He was successful! And praise God Jesus was successful, fully and completely and totally successful. I love you and be blessed! And Father allow us the ability to fully see the power of what Jesus has done for us and allow us to walk fully in the glory of Your Truth!

The Easy Yoke Of God's Sanctification

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:30

My whole Christian life I have heard preachers and churches put huge burdens on their members. Sermon after sermon they talked about how weak the flesh is, how sin reigns in our bodies, how people need to pray more, read more, work more, it is never enough. Condemnation and fear may have not been openly flaunted; however, they were always the underlying message. The only time a person received any positive feedback for the way they lived was when they were dead. I mean during life they were constantly falling short, yet now that they were lying in a coffin, we were told to pattern our lives after their godly example. This never seemed to make any sense to me. And then God showed me through His Word who we are in Him and it all fell into place.

I knew I could never work enough, pray enough, witness enough, or believe enough to walk like Jesus. I would read in the Word that I should be perfect even as our Father in Heaven is perfect, Matthew 5:48. I would read that I can be used by God to do the same works as He did through Jesus and even greater works, John 14:12. I would read that I should walk even as Jesus walked, 1 John 2:6. I remembered all of the sermons that taught there was no way, we are just men, we are weak in the flesh, we could never do greater works than Jesus, or even the same works. I thought to myself, be perfect as God, you've got to be kidding, I can't even make it one day without messing up. But then God showed me all of these scriptures that we have studied together, and the many more we are going to study, and then my Father empowered me to see the Truth, and the Truth of God’s Word sanctified me. There was now no condemnation for me, through the power of the Holy Ghost God had led me into His rest. I was no longer being destroyed by a lack of knowledge. My life was no longer hindered because of me, because of my actions, my life was now enriched because of the power of my Father, Dad had led me into the paths of His righteousness. The Holy Ghost was teaching me, and the Word that He was using sanctified me. The works began to happen, but not because I willed them into being, but because the Word had set me apart for God’s holy use and God was now able to work through me! Works do not sanctify us. We are sanctified by Jesus so that we can be used by God to work! The yoke of sanctification is easy because it is our Father sanctifying us and He knows exactly how to do it! We are now and forever more strong in the power of His might, not our own!

Jesus Sanctified Himself For Us

"And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified through the Truth." John 17:19

Why would Jesus say this? Why does it matter to us if Jesus is sanctified? It matters because we have become one with Him. It matters because the only reason that we can be sanctified is because He is sanctified. Look at the house we are building here with scripture in all of these posts. Our Father is laying a solid foundation of Truth, confirming that we are one with Jesus today.

Jesus sanctified Himself, first and foremost so that we could have a Savior, but He also knew that we would become one with Him, therefore we too would be sanctified through His sanctification. Salvation is so much more than just us spending eternity with our Father; it is placing us into an eternal union with God our Father. Not as Adam either, so much more, our union with God is as Jesus’ union with God! We are now one with God Himself. We are one with His peace, His joy, His faith, His hope, His knowledge and wisdom, His knowledge of the future, and His abilities! All that our Father is, He has made us one with. Jesus sanctified us with His Own sanctification so that we can have it all. We are new creatures in Christ and that new creature is as our Father is, even while we are in this world!

We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being]. What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?] Romans 8:28-31

Grace and spiritual blessing be to you and [soul] peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), Who gave (yielded) Himself up [to atone] for our sins [and to save and sanctify us], in order to rescue and deliver us from this present wicked age and world order, in accordance with the will and purpose and plan of our God and Father—Galatians 1:3-4

God Has Called Us To Be Holy

"For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but to holiness." 1 Thessalonians 4:7

It is God's desire for us to be holy, to be pure, to be powerful, to be perfect, and to be clean. He fully understands what we are, He knows better than we do about the weaknesses of our flesh, and He knows our needs before we do. That is why our Father sent Jesus, so that all of our needs could be fulfilled through His riches and glory. Our Father sent Jesus so that our weaknesses would no longer matter, so that we could now be strong in the power of His might. The Blood of Christ is stronger than our inability's and the grace of God is more powerful than our flesh. God knew we could never be clean by our own actions, so He said, "no problem, I love you enough, and I am God, so I Myself will sanctify you."

Think about God, our Father, for a minute. Ask yourself can He do everything? Most of us would say yes, He is God. So if God can do everything and we see that Jesus asked God to sanctify us, it should not be any problem at all for us to believe and accept that our Father is able to make us pure, clean, set us apart for holy use, and free us from sin.

This is the attitude the church needs to accept and walk in:

We have been chosen and empowered by God Himself to make Jesus our Lord and Savior, so we are now one with Him. Since we are now the children of God, born of His seed, we are now clean, pure, free from sin, sanctified, and holy this day. Our power is the power of The Living God, and we are now more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us this day. We can now be used by God to do all things through Christ Who strengthens us! We have been given the right, the privilege, and the abilities of God Himself to fulfill His will on this earth. And our Fathers will is glorious, it will fulfill our lives as nothing else will. It will satisfy us, bring us joy, peace, and true happiness. Our Fathers love is perfected within us and as He is so are we in this world!

Share these truths with others this day and watch God grow the seed of His Truth. God will use us to plant the seeds that will produce a harvest that spans the oceans, a harvest that is not hindered by political boarders, or false religious creeds. When God sent Jesus, He sent Him in power and with demonstration of His Spirit. When Jesus sent His disciples, He sent them in power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus called Paul, He sent Him in power and demonstration of the Spirit of God. What would ever make the church think that our Father doesn’t do the same for us? God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, He changes not!

The Holy Ghost Strengthens Us In The Word

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:13-14

Jesus sent the Holy Ghost to strengthen us and to lead us in the Word. If you have the Holy Ghost dwelling within you, you can’t help but study God’s Word. I am living proof of this Truth. Studying the Word of God consumes me. Ask anyone that I ever went to school with if studying consumed me, not really, not even a little tiny bit! I wasn’t what you might say a strong student! But when I was in my mid twenties God took hold of me and said let’s go, and through His power and strength I never went back. I didn’t have this desire to study on my own; God gave the desire to me. I didn’t have the ability or the patience to study to show myself approved unto Him; it was the Holy Ghost within me that empowered me. I will tell you this too; thank God it was Him, because if it were up to me, I would never do it. But because it is God’s desire for us and because we have been empowered and chosen to ask Jesus into our lives, and given Him full permission to lead us, it’s not our will any more, it’s God’s will. We are able to study, willing to study, and eager study, we can’t help it, it’s the will of our Head.

There are so many who preach that if we just do this or that, then God will act for us. But the Truth is that we have been given the Holy Spirit of our Father to lead us, guide us, teach us, and strengthen us in all things that pertain unto life and unto godliness. So the preaching shouldn’t be about us, but about the power of our Father within us. We believe because Jesus Authors and Finishes our faith to believe. We have the hope to believe because the Holy Spirit causes us to abound in hope. We know what to ask for because the Holy Spirit teaches us and leads us in all strength. The glory is all our Fathers, it’s all because of Him, even the believing to ask. The battle is His and the victory is ours.

The Word Of God Sanctifies Us

"Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth." John 17:17

The word sanctification means to be set apart for Holy use, to be made free from sin, to be purified, and to make productive use of Holy blessings.

Look at what Jesus asks God to do for us. Jesus asked our Father to sanctify us through His Word. The Word is Jesus; so the Truth is Jesus is the only One Who sanctifies us. Everywhere we turn in the Word of God we see an example of our Father doing what it takes for us to have an abundant and full life. The Word of God does not direct us to sanctify ourselves; sanctification is a free gift of our Father. The Word, which is Jesus, is free, and through the Word of God we are sanctified.

The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, it is quick, and it is powerful and it sets us apart for our Fathers Holy use. The Word makes us free from sin. The Word purifies us, it gives us knowledge, and the Word allows us to be productive workers of God. It is no wonder that our Father had Paul instruct us to study to show ourselves approved. The Word is the key, because the Word is Jesus, and the only reason that we can be who we are in Christ and the only reason that we can have such power is because of Jesus.

Actually Believing That Through Christ We Are Now Clean

"Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you." John 15:3

Imagine actually accepting and believing the Truth that through the power of Christ we are now clean, not one spot and not one speck of unrighteousness in us. Think of the peace, the joy, the fellowship and communion with God that it would bring. We rarely if ever have been taught or heard it preached that we actually can be this way, but when we read the Word of God, there it is, “we are now clean through the Word.” We read that God has now given us His Spirit so that we may be cleansed from all unrighteousness. No spot, no wrinkle, and no blemish, through the power of Christ a glorious church! Yet where are the sermons, where is the hope being preached, I am not even talking about faith yet, just the hope that through the power of Jesus in our lives we can and should be this way? Where is the hope that Jesus is that strong when it comes to saving us, that His sacrificed Blood is that powerful for us, and that God’s love is that awesome in keeping us? Where is it preached that because of Christ the yoke of being clean is light and easy to be born?

Faith for us comes from hearing the Word of God and we now have the mind of Christ to accept and believe the Truth that sets us free! And our peace passes all understanding and our peace is that Jesus has cleansed us completely through the power of His might! Our peace is Jesus’ peace, and we now know as He knows and understand as He understands, because He is now our Head. Today is the Day of our Salvation and now is the appointed time for the fullness of God to dwell within us with all of the power of His might and strength! We are new creatures in Christ and all of the old dirt and darkness has passed away for us; our bodies of sin have been destroyed and crucified with Christ! Jesus has rescued us completely from all unrighteousness this day and as He is, so are we in this world!
