Sow The Word And Reap Peace

The sower sows the Word. Mark 4:14

Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap. Galatians 6:7

So many people right now seem to have real fears about governments, famines, and evil. They are also so vocal about their fear. These people are very articulate about what the news and supposed prophets that they are seeing on the internet have to say about things. The problem is that they are not giving anyone any peace by what they have to say. Everyone just sees and hears their fears, when the Truth is that we have not been given a spirit of fear, 2 Timothy 1:7.

I know so many people like this right now and the answer is a simple one to take away their fear and dread, sow the Word. Don’t sow what the news has reported, those messages are only temporal, they are not eternal. Don’t repeat what a politician has spoken, repeat what our Father has spoken. What we sow is what we will reap and if we are sowing the fears of the news media and the lies of the politicians, then we will reap fear and actually begin to sow fear. This will in turn cause us to reap fear and that does no one any good. Sow answers. Sow the Truth of the Bible. These people all seem to have and carry a Bible, yet they do not sow the Truth of it. The sower, sows the Word and then we reap the Truth and the Truth sets us free!

Now if you have a loved one that is acting this way get them to show you scriptures, the Holy Spirit will empower you to do so. Ask them to share or read to you our Father’s Word. When they are talking about worldly events, ask them to show you scriptures that will help you to see our Father’s peace. The Truth is that you not alone in this task, Jesus will lead you to get them into the Word and out of the world. He will also lead you to share scriptures with them and to show them what you have been shown in the Bible. You will be lead to ask them if they know any verses that will compliment what you have been used to share. The Spirit will assist them in sowing the Truth back to you and then they will begin to reap the Truth and they will be set free from fear. Our Father never looses and there is no condemnation of our loved ones. It is just another glorious opportunity for Him to glorify us all with His grace and power.

Notable Sinners Are Easily Saved

[Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance--since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement. Hebrews 9:15

Can notable sinners really receive salvation so easily? Yes they can! We all can because Jesus died for us. Jesus rescued us and redeemed us from transgressions, all transgressions. We weren’t just easily delivered from little white lies or looking at the opposite sex with desire, we were delivered from murder, rape, and theft as well. Anyone who has been offered salvation receives its easily.

Far too often we want to make our gift a work, but its not. Salvation is a free gift given by our Father to those whom He has chosen to give it. Our Father always chooses the things that seem foolish to the world to confound those who believe that they are wise, 1 Corinthians 1:27. The world looks at the temporal things that are not eternal, when our Father looks at His eternal plans. So yes it is very easy for our Father to forgive and save a murderer or a rapist. This should give us such a great hope, because if they can easily be forgiven, so can we. The power of the Blood of Jesus is never challenged by the works of man.

Here is a really cool Truth about forgiveness and salvation: those who are forgiven of much, love much, Luke 7:47!

Easy Salvation For Bad People

As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. Romans 4:17

I had a person ask me a question the other day about bad people making it easily into Heaven. The answer is that they can and it is because of the Truth that we are shown in Romans 4. The wicked can easily make it into Heaven because of Father gives life to the dead. Our Father calls things that are not, as though they were, and they happen. If our Father has called a notably bad person to be saved, they will become what He has called them to be. A great example of this would be Paul. Paul was a terrible person, yet our Father called and chose him, Galatians 1:15.

Another great example would be the man on the Cross. The man on the Cross beside Jesus did nothing other than tell the other guy on a cross to lay off of Jesus. By doing this Jesus allowed him to go to paradise. That was really easy. The man who Jesus chose to bless led a wicked life and did no other works then to tell another guy to basically shut up and he was allowed into paradise, Luke 23:43.

Let me ask you this, which example better describes grace? I have a hundred dollars and I say that you can have it if you tell me that I am great, do what I tell you to do, and that you come and get it from me. Or is grace better described by this: you fight me, tell me that I am wrong, you work against me, and yet I come to you and give you the hundred dollars? Our Father operates from grace and grace is easy, regardless of how good or bad we are.

Why Did Lazarus Get To Go To Paradise?

There was a certain rich man who [habitually] clothed himself in purple and fine linen and reveled and feasted and made merry in splendor every day. And at his gate there was [carelessly] dropped down and left a certain utterly destitute man named Lazarus, [reduced to begging alms and] covered with [ulcerated] sores. He [eagerly] desired to be satisfied with what fell from the rich man's table; moreover, the dogs even came and licked his sores. Luke 16:19-21
Jesus gives a parable of two men, one extremely rich and one extremely poor.
And it occurred that the man [reduced to] begging died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And in Hades (the realm of the dead), being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far away, and Lazarus in his bosom. Luke 16:22-23
Let me ask you a question, why did Lazarus get to go to paradise when he died? Jesus never tells us that he was a good man. We are never told that he was an honest man. Jesus never says that Lazarus was a faithful or giving man. All we are told is that Lazarus was an utterly destitute man who wanted the rich man’s left overs. So why would Lazarus get to go to paradise and be wonderfully taken care of?
Here in lies one of the greatest Truth’s of our Father. We are shown why when bad things happen to people that we are to actually rejoice for them, Romans 5:3. You heard me! Man wants to judge our Father by what they see with their eyes and by what they see for this brief period of time in the flesh, 2 Corinthians 4:18. When our Father looks at eternity. We are shown in this parable that if a person is given a miserable lot on this earth, that they will be greatly rewarded and taken care of in eternity. We are shown that the last will be first, Matthew 19:30. Having wealth is actually considered by our Father to be a harder lot in this life, Matthew 19:24.
Why do bad things happen to good people? So that our Father can reward them for ever and ever. We mourn at a murder or at an abusive crime, especially when it happens to a child. These things hurt and they are terrible, but the pain is only for a brief moment when compared with an eternity of abundance.
[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! Romans 8:18
The next time you see a beggar, give him something to help him out. But do not pity him, for we are shown that he has a wonderful eternity waiting for him. The next time you hear of a person who was murdered or tortured, pray for the family and friends of the person, but also rejoice that the victim is now receiving the reward of an eternity of being first. Our Father see’s everything that is happening and He knows all. And if we are abused or destitute on this earth, we will be blessed and provided for abundantly for all of eternity. This is a great parable and it should bring us all so much peace when we see all of the suffering in this world.

Now we are not necessarily told by Jesus that the person who suffers in this world will be one with Him. We are not shown that they will be part of the Bride of Christ, they may be. But if they are not doesn't mean that they don't receive a great and full blessing as being a prized and honored guest at the Wedding Feast of the Lamb. There are guests in eternity, Matthew 22:10-11. Some of these guest will be first and some will be last. But amen we are shown this Truth: those who are treated the worst on this earth are blessed tremendously in our Father's Kingdom.

Why Unemployment Is So High?

When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, There is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3

I was golfing with a friend last week and he works in the investment department of a large national company. He was telling me that the company has $40 billion dollars worth of investments, $40 billion! I was talking with another friend and he was talking about all of the cash reserves that companies and banks have right now, yet hiring is almost at a stand still. The stock market is soaring to record heights because of all of the cash that these corporations have on their books. Yet unemployment is still so high?

As they were telling me these things, here is what our Father told me, I am causing it to happen! Our Father told me that He was allowing companies to hoard vast sums of wealth to prepare for the end times. There will come a time when these enormous reservoirs of cash will be released by our Father and when He does it, the world will see growth as it never has before. The world will actually begin to say peace and safety and they will begin to blasphemy our Father by saying that they accomplished it. The companies will take credit for it. Our governments and politicians will take credit for it. All of them are Babylon and they will all be glorying and marveling at what they believe that they have accomplished.

To the degree that she glorified herself and reveled in her wantonness [living deliciously and luxuriously], to that measure impose on her torment and anguish and tears and mourning. Since in her heart she boasts, I am not a widow; as a queen [on a throne] I sit, and I shall never see suffering or experience sorrow-- Revelation 18:7

Then when Babylon, which are governments and corrupt corporations, is at the pinnacle of its success, it all comes crashing down and the Great Tribulation will come. Everything that we see is our Father working to bring His Kingdom to full maturity. So rejoice at high gas prices, these inflated prices are putting billions of dollars into the reserves of Babylon that will eventually cause its destruction and allow us to finally physically see our Lord and Savior ruling. Our Father is making it all happen.

Also rejoice, because before the Great Tribulation can begin our Father must first empower us with the love, strength, and faith to witness to every nation, tongue, and tribe. A change is a coming and the Church is going to be transformed into the perfect church without any spots, wrinkles, or blemishes.

Salvation's Technical Definition

Soteria {so-tay-ree'ah}. The original Greek Word in the Bible for salvation. Its meaning can be found in a Strong's Concordance, number 4991. Soteria means:

deliverer, health, rescue, and safety. Fourfold salvation: saved from the penalty, power, presence and most importantly the pleasure of sin. Deliverance from the molestation of enemies. Future salvation: the sum of benefits and blessings which the Christians, redeemed from all earthly ills, will enjoy after the visible return of Christ from heaven in the consummated and eternal kingdom of God.

So when we confess, through the power of the Holy Spirit, that we are saved, what we are actually confessing is that we are free from the power, pleasure, presence, and penalty of sin. We are saying that we are delivered and rescued from all that would keep us from being perfectly united with our Father. We are also saying that we are healthy and that we are safe from all of our enemies. And that we will be this way for all of eternity.

Here is our glorious Truth our salvation: all of this is now!

For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

Faith comes for us by hearing this Truth and this Truth definitely sets us free! You are blessed this day in the full and complete power of God Himself.

The Truth Of Abundant Peace

JUDE, A servant of Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and brother of James, [writes this letter] to those who are called (chosen), dearly loved by God the Father and separated (set apart) and kept for Jesus Christ: May mercy, [soul] peace, and love be multiplied to you. Jude 1-2

Jude understood how we are able to have peace that passes all understanding and why our love is so abundant and it is because we are now kept by Jesus. Our Lord never leaves us and He never forsakes us, Hebrews 13:5. Our Father has called us and chosen us to be kept and separated for His Holy use. We are a chosen generation and we are a royal priesthood, 1 Peter 2:9.

We have been given liberty in Christ. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 2 Corinthians 3:17 Our liberty allows us to have a spirit of peace and joy. We do not have to fear ever loosing our relationship with our Father, Romans 11:29, because we can’t. The perfect love of our Father towards us is the power that drives out all fear from us and allows us to have abundant peace. Our peace and joy are not products of our works and faith. Our peace and joy are products of our Father’s love being freely bestowed on us. So we don’t ever have to fret about if we are good enough to enjoy perfect peace.

In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. 1 John 4:17

The Truth sets us free and faith comes from hearing the Truth. And the Truth is that our Father is totally in control of every aspect of our life's. He will never stop being in complete and total control of them and because He is we can enjoy the exact same peace that Jesus has right now. Our Father's love has made us to be exactly like Jesus is right now and so we are able to enjoy everything, including the peace and joy, that Jesus has.

I pray that everyone in Christ comes to know this glorious Truth this day.

Our Father Will Cause Us To Know The Future

"Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shew it unto you." John 16:13-15

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. John 14:26

But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [ permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do]. 1 John 2:27

This Truth is not mentioned very much, but it is a glorious one: our Father has given us His Holy Spirit so that we can know what the future is. Look at Jesus’ life and you will see that He was constantly being shown by the Spirit what was happening in the future. Jesus knew when and how He was going to die. He was shown that Lazarus was going to die and that He was going to raise him up from the dead. He was shown Nathanael standing under a fig tree before Phillip called him to come and meet Jesus. Paul knew that he was going to be arrested in Jerusalem and would be transferred to Rome to meet with Caesar. Peter knew that he was to go to Cornelius. And John was shown the end of the world. All of these people were shown the future by the Holy Spirit and we are plainly told that we too will be shown future events to help us in ministering the Gospel.

Faith comes from hearing the Truth and the Truth always sets us free. And the Truth is, the Holy Spirit will plainly show us things to come.

What's It Mean: To Be Saved?

Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me. Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. John 17:20-24

I will be honest I love John 17, it is my absolute favorite chapter in the Bible. John 17 just teaches us so much as to why Jesus came and did what He did for us. Several years ago our Father had me begin to ask the question, what is salvation? He had me ask believers, non-believers, and preachers what their definition of salvation was. To my surprise most struggled with a specific definition of what it means to be saved. Mainly I was told that it meant to go to Heaven. After several weeks of asking the question, God then asked me, do you see why I had you ask?

John 17 tells us plainly what salvation is. Salvation is us becoming one with our Father through Jesus Christ. To be saved means that we are perfectly united with God. It is just that simple. The glory that Jesus has, we now have. It is all a gift. It is all undeserved, yet it is all freely bestowed on us who have been called and chosen by God to be given it. We do not choose our Father, He chooses us. Then He uses us to serve the world and to show them that He loves them.

A benefit of salvation is that we will spend eternity as one with our Father, but salvation means being perfectly united with Him through our Lord and Savior Jesus.

The 70 Week's Of Daniels Prophecy Have Ended

And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator. Daniel 9:27

In Daniel’s prophecy the one week strong covenant was with the children of Israel, who were Daniel’ people. This strong covenant began for the Israelis when Jesus was baptized with the Holy Spirit. For the first 3 1/2 years after His baptism Jesus was used by the Holy Spirit to raise the dead, feed thousands from blessed table scraps, change the weather, heal the sick, teach the Truth, and cast out demons. Jesus did all of this only for the Jews, who are Daniel’s people. Jesus had not yet been sent to the Gentiles. Then right in the middle of the week He was crucified. At this time Jesus became the sacrifice to end all sacrifices. He eternally set us free from sacrificial offerings and He eternally made us righteous by His Blood being shed on the Cross.

The power of this strong covenant kept on going only for the children of Israel for another 3 1/2 years, this completed the seventieth week. The Gospel was only preached to the children of Israel during the 3 1/2 years following Jesus’ crucifixion. It was not until the Holy Spirit led Peter to Cornelius, Acts 10, and Paul was called on the road to Damascus, Acts 9:3, that it all ended for the Israelites. After this time the focus of the Gospel and the power of it went primarily to the Gentiles, people other than Daniel’s. After these two events, we read in the Bible how our Father began to work in Corinth, Galatia, Rome, Ephesus, Thessalonica, and Philippi. We no longer read about our Father moving powerfully in Israel. We actually read in many of Paul’s letters that the church back in Israel was in great torment and in Galatians Paul greatly questioned the leadership of the Jerusalem church, Galatians 2:6 &12.

The Truth is that there was no break in the seventy weeks of Daniel’s prophecy. The Truth is that there does not have to be a new Temple on the Temple Mount at the end of times for Jesus to return. There also doesn’t have to be a treaty between the anti-christ and the nation of Israel. There will be no more sacrifices to be ended, because Jesus ended the sacrifices at the Cross. And there is no pre-tribulation rapture. The seventy weeks of Daniel’s prophecy were fulfilled on the Cross and the one week strong covenant was completed 3 1/2 years after Jesus’ death and resurrection! Jesus came and died so that all who are called and chosen could become Jews through their new birth. A birth through the Holy Spirit. Daniel’s people, those who were Jews because of a natural birth ended when Jesus was crucified. The time of being a Jew by a natural birth no longer existed after the Cross.

The one who makes things desolate, satan, was cast out of Heaven when Jesus was raised from the dead, Revelation 12:5-8. Satan was cast down to the earth after Jesus was raised up and he will be here causing problems until Jesus returns and binds him for a thousand years. Everything that Daniel prophesied about the seventy weeks has occurred and been fulfilled.

Jesus Ended The Sacrifices, Not The Anti-Christ

And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and upon the wing or pinnacle of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate, until the full determined end is poured out on the desolator. Daniel 9:27

Now let’s look at and study Daniel 9:27, after seeing that everything that Daniel was told in Daniel 9:24 has already happened through Jesus. (Previous 7 posts of Christnotes ) The Truth is that all of what Daniel was told in verse 24 was finished by Jesus’ success at the Cross. So the Truth has to be that Jesus is the One who will make the strong Covenant with many people for one week in verse 27, it is not the anti-christ as so many teach. Jesus is the One who ended the sacrifices. He ended them when He was crucified, when Jesus gave up the ghost, the Temples curtain that protected the Holy of Holies was torn from top to bottom, Matthew 27:51. This was a sign from our Father that He had ended all sacrifices and that there was no more need for them. Jesus came and He fulfilled everything that was required for our righteousness.

Daniel was also told in verse 27 that one was coming who makes desolate. In Revelation 12:5-8 we are shown that after Jesus was taken up to Heaven, satan was cast out of it and we are told that he was thrown down to the earth. Daniel was shown the same thing. Daniel was shown that after the sacrifices were ended, because of the victory of the Blood of Christ, satan would be thrown to the earth to cause desolation.

And the huge dragon was cast down and out--that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him. Revelation 12:9

The Supposed Last Week Of The Earth, Part VII

Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. Daniel 9:24

Finally, Daniel was told by our Father in the prophecy of the seventy weeks that the Holy of Holies will be anointed.

For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one, but [He has entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the [very] presence of God on our behalf. Nor did He [enter into the heavenly sanctuary to] offer Himself regularly again and again, as the high priest enters the [Holy of] Holies every year with blood not his own. For then would He often have had to suffer [over and over again] since the foundation of the world. But as it now is, He has once for all at the consummation and close of the ages appeared to put away and abolish sin by His sacrifice [of Himself]. Hebrews 9:24-26

Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus, Hebrews 10:19

Jesus has already anointed the True Holy of Holies in Heaven. He did it when He ascended to Heaven on the third day after His crucification, John 20:17. So all that Daniel was told would happen at the end of the seventy weeks has already happened and it all happened because of Jesus' success at the Cross. This is why Jesus yelled out when He was dying that it was finished, because He purged our sin and brought in everlasting righteousness for God's chosen ones!

When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. John 19:30

The Supposed Last Week Of The Earth, Part VI

Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. Daniel 9:24

Daniel was also told that prophecies and prophets would be sealed at the end of the seventy weeks. We are told in the Bible that heaven and earth will fade away, but the Word of our Father never will, Mark 13:31. When Jesus returns there will be a thousand years left until the new heaven and the new Jerusalem are brought into being, Revelation 21:2. Don’t you think that we will be talking about this upcoming event, or in other words prophesying about this wonderful event, during Millennial Reign of Christ? So clearly prophecies will not be done away with when Jesus returns, they are however sealed, and what they are sealed with is the Holy Spirit.

"Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts." 2 Corinthians 1:21-22

In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit. Ephesians 1:3

In Galatians 2:20 we are told that we are crucified with Christ and never the less we live, yet it is not us who lives, it is Christ in us Who lives. We are told in Colossians 3:3 that we are dead and are life’s are hid with Christ in God. We are shown that we are new creatures in Christ and that all old things have passed away for us, 2 Corinthians 5:17. The Holy Spirit tells us that we are now more than conquerors through Christ, Romans 8:37. Christ is our Father’s anointing and His anointing is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit has already been given to us and He has already sealed us.

The Supposed Last Week Of The Earth, Part V

The people who believe the seventieth week of Daniel’s Prophecy is not yet fulfilled, will tell you that when Jesus returns to the earth that He will cause there to be no more sin. This is flat out wrong.

And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his place of confinement, And he will go forth to deceive and seduce and lead astray the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth--Gog and Magog--to muster them for war; their number is like the sand of the sea. Revelation 20:7-8 (Just a quick note: the teaching that the seventieth week has yet to occur also teaches that Gog, which is Russia, will attack Israel 3 1/2 years into the Great Tribulation. Yet Jesus tells us that this will happen at the end of the Millennial Reign, not right before it.)

Jesus also alludes to sin not being done away with during the Millennial Reign in His parable of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Matthew 22:11-13. Jesus tells us in this parable that when our Father comes to the Wedding that He will find people who are there who are not worthy, meaning that He will find people whose sins have not been covered by the Blood of Jesus. The reason that this applies to what we are studying here is because we are shown in Revelation 20:12-13 that our Father doesn’t physically come to dwell on the earth until the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ.

The Bible plainly shows us that sin will still be around long after Jesus has returned to the earth. There is a reason that Jesus has to rule with an iron scepter for the Millennium, Revelation 2:27. The Truth is that satan will be allowed to return from the abyss at the end of the Millennial Reign of Christ and millions of people who have lived under Jesus for a thousand years will follow him and they will sin, Revelation 20:7. So clearly Daniel’s prophecy of seventy weeks has to have already ended. The seventy weeks will not end at Jesus’ return to the earth as is so often preached. The Truth is that just because Jesus comes to rule, in no way means that all people want Him to be their Lord. Millions of people who live during His Millennial Reign will still have an evil heart, they just won’t be permitted to act on the evil until the end of the thousand years. Jesus on the Cross is the completion of the purging of sins that Daniel was told would occur in the prophecy of the seventy weeks. Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of purging and reconciling our sins. Because of Jesus, the called and chosen of God are now eternally righteous through grace!

Our Father doesn't have to wait until Jesus returns to bestow His awesome gifts on us and He doesn't have to wait until Jesus returns to use us and be perfect;y united with us. The Blood of Jesus has accomplished all of these things already!

So that, [just] as sin has reigned in death, [so] grace (His unearned and undeserved favor) might reign also through righteousness (right standing with God) which issues in eternal life through Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) our Lord. Romans 5:21

In Christ we have eternal life right now. We do not have to wait for it. Those who confess that the seventy weeks of Daniel’s Prophecy have yet to be fulfilled are teaching that we have to wait to be made righteous by Christ. So this means that we have to keep works and laws on our own to get us to the future point of freedom.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes in Me [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life. John 6:47

The Holy Spirit teaches us in Colossians 2:14 that all of the laws and ordinances that convicted us of sin have been nailed to the Cross with Jesus and that they have been done away with. This is what Jesus came to do: He came to be a sacrifice that allowed our Father to give us His grace freely. People who believe that the seventy weeks have yet to be fulfilled believe that sin still has power over the Bride of Christ and it doesn’t.

For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. Hebrews 10:14

He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more. Now where there is absolute remission (forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty) of these [sins and lawbreaking], there is no longer any offering made to atone for sin. Hebrews 10:17-18

The Supposed Last Week Of The Earth, Part III

Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] are decreed upon your people and upon your holy city [Jerusalem], to finish and put an end to transgression, to seal up and make full the measure of sin, to purge away and make expiation and reconciliation for sin, to bring in everlasting righteousness (permanent moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation) to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint a Holy of Holies. Daniel 9:24

Daniel was also told by our Father that by the end of the seventy weeks sin would be purged.

For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit]. Romans 8:3-4

And in accordance with this will [of God], we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the body of Jesus Christ (the Anointed One). Hebrews 10:10

The Truth is that Jesus has purged our sins. Jesus overcame sin, He subdued sin, He deprived sin of all of its power and because He did, the righteousness of the Law is now fully met in us, Romans 8:4. Jesus came and He did away with the law of sin and death for His Bride.

For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. Romans 8:2

And such some of you were [once]. But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God. Everything is permissible (allowable and lawful) for me; but not all things are helpful (good for me to do, expedient and profitable when considered with other things). Everything is lawful for me, but I will not become the slave of anything or be brought under its power. 1 Corinthians 6:11-12

We are shown repeatedly in the New Testament that Jesus has fulfilled what Daniel was told would happen, sin has been purged from us and the reconciliation has been made for us and in Christ we now have eternal righteousness. Our righteousness is not achieved from our own works or our own obedience, our righteousness is now achieved for us from our Father’s grace. Jesus came and freely gave us eternal righteousness. We didn’t earn righteousness on our own and we don’t keep righteousness on our own. What Daniel was shown has completely been fulfilled through Jesus. The problem with the teaching that the seventy weeks are not yet fulfilled, is that it confesses that we have not yet been made righteous, but the glorious Truth is that in Christ we have been. To believe otherwise openly confesses that Jesus did not succeed on the Cross. It places the responsibility of achieving salvation on our flesh and our abilities and not on the sacrifice of Christ.
