Salvation Is For Everyone

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

"Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:4

"For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." 2 Corinthians 6:2

Remember in older posts how I said to take notice of the awesome power and completeness of our Father's Word? Just look at what is said in these three verses: whosoever, all, and now! It is absolutely awesome how powerfully God speaks of us! We should talk as our Father talks, because it’s His Spirit within us that is leading and guiding us. Our Father talks like this, why don’t we? I’ll let you in to a little Truth, it’s coming! In the last days God is going to pour His Spirit out on all men, and watch how the vocabulary of the Church changes!

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; And on My servants and on your handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood and fire, and vapor and smoke.” Acts 2:17-19

Look at how our Father says His children will speak then!

The Truth is our Father wants all men to be saved right now and He wants all men to come to the knowledge of His truth. No one is ever left out with God. That is the power of the Cross, your nationality does not matter, your age, your gender, your political affiliation, none of these worldly emotions or circumstances matter. Our Father wants all people to be saved, He provided for all to be saved, and He will take all. Notice the absoluteness of Romans 10:13, “shall be saved.” No doubt there with God is there? Shall be saved, whosoever shall call upon the Name of Jesus, shall be saved! Our Father doesn’t say that you need a study course, or a membership in a denomination, no, we call upon Jesus and we are saved! Now our Father knows the heart, so we aren’t going to fool Him. If we truly call upon Him, we will be saved!

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name; Which were born not of flesh and blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12-13

That is such a great Truth, we are born of God, we are born of His will. Our Father knows us, He knows our innermost thoughts, so even if we seem to be saved, He knows the truth. We don’t choose Him, He chooses us! Yet all that truly believe on Him and trust in Jesus’ Name are chosen!

I know we have just begun our studies together, and there is so much we are going to study, but right now, this very second, the Holy Spirit needs to empower our prayer lives and our hearts to allow our Father to begin to speak and use phrases through us just as the scriptures we study do. We should talk like our Father talks. The Holy Spirit needs to begin to cause us to desire to speak and use words like, "Today I am saved." When we see someone that angers us, disappoints us, or appears to us to be the scourge of the earth, we need to be empowered to have the faith to believe that, "God wants all men saved, and so do we, and in Jesus' Name that person is saved." There is nothing wrong with boldly seeking and proclaiming openly God's Truths! We should talk like our Father talks, we are born of Him, He is within us, it’s our heritage, it’s who we are in Him, and it’s Who He is in us! Out of the abundance of our hearts, our mouths will speak!

Over the next several posts we are going to discuss what salvation means. Before we move on though, ask yourself this one simple question, what exactly is salvation? Think about it, pray about it, and ask others about it. If your experience is anything like mine, you will marvel at what you hear. Several years ago, when I first asked the question, it was amazing how others and I struggled to put in words a full meaning of our salvation. Even though the term is used in virtually every church service, and leading people to salvation is the purpose and goal of all believers, it was an extremely difficult question to answer: what exactly is salvation? Our Father showed me right then and there that it shouldn’t be. He is not a Father of confusion; He wants each one of His children to be fully enlightened with the Truth. He wants us all to know Him intimately, and He wants us all to be completely and accurately equipped with the Truth that will set us free! Salvation is awesome; it for everyone, and it is now! And we have been given the Holy Spirit to teach us all of the things that pertain to our salvation through Jesus Christ! We are all one in Christ and through Him we should be of one heart, one mind, and one accord!

Be blessed this day! And hold on, because what we are about to study together will absolutely set us, our families, our friends, our coworkers, and the church, free. A-men!
