God Is Not A Man That He Should Lie

“That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” Hebrews 6:18

“In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” Titus 1:2

“God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19

It is impossible for our Father to lie! God cannot lie and God is not a man that He should lie! And what our Father has spoken, He shall make it good! With these Truths in mind, let’s study some of the things that God has spoken.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26 The Spirit of God is praying for us right now! The Holy Spirit is praying so earnestly for you and I that what He is praying for cannot be uttered with words! Our Father is for us and nothing can be against us. God is helping us right now, even if we have no idea what to pray for! It is impossible for God to lie about this! Our needs are met by our Father's grace and our lack of knowledge or maturity in no way limits His abilities to give us life and give it abundantly!

“Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25 Our Father has spoken that He is able to save us to the uttermost and He will make good on it! Praise God our salvation is an abundant thing!

“And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 Our Father has given us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us to make good on this Truth, and we are free because of it! “But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.” John 14:26 Amplified Bible Today is the day of our salvation and today the Truth has set us free!

"And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory forever and ever. A-men." 2 Timothy 4:18 Our Father is not a respecter of persons and He will make good on His promise and He will deliver each one of us from every, every mind you, evil work and He will preserve us unto His Heavenly Kingdom!

"Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." Ephesians 3:20 Our Father cannot lie about this, so He will do exceeding abundant works through us. Works that are extremely above all that we ask for or think of! Stop here for a moment and think of what we have just studied that God will make good on: we are saved to the uttermost, He will teach us all things, we are delivered from every evil work, He will do exceedingly abundant works through us, and the Holy Spirit is praying for us with words that cannot be uttered! And remember, God is not a man that He should lie!

“And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, ever as We are One.” John 17:22 Jesus wasn’t just talking here. Every Word that He spoke is Truth and Jesus gave us His glory so that we could be one with God just as He is One with God! Being saved to the uttermost means being saved just as Jesus is saved!

“For in that He died, He died unto sin once; but in that He liveth, He liveth unto God. Likewise, reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:10-11 Our Father is not a man, He is not a con-artist, He is not greedy of filthy lucre, that He should lie and God has told us to consider ourselves to be dead unto sin, just like Jesus is dead unto sin! And our Father has told us to consider ourselves to be alive unto Him, just as Jesus is alive unto Him! This is an easy burden and a pleasant yoke to be borne, because greater is He that is in us, than He that is in the world and Jesus is Authoring and Finishing our faith to believe it!

"Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, Who is even at the right hand of God, Who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, for Thy sake we are killed all the day long; for we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." Romans 8:33-37 There is now no condemnation for us who are in Christ Jesus and nothing shall ever separate us from the love that our Father and Jesus have for us! And Hallelujah, our Father did not lie about the Truth that we are more than conquerors through Him! Because He is more than a conqueror through us this day!

"But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" Ephesians 2:4-5

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever." 1 Peter 1:23

“Looking unto Jesus the Authorer and Finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the Throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 Our Father has spoken that Jesus will Author and Finish our faith, so He will make good on this Truth in each and every one of our lives! And faith as small as a grain of mustard seed will blow a mountain into the sea! Jesus is God and He said that even the smallest amount of faith would do super miraculous things and He cannot lie about it! If we have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to believe that Jesus has been raised up and is now seated at the Right Hand of the Father, we also have been empowered to believe that Jesus is Authoring our faith. So we are able to believe that we may be more than conquerors over everything that would try to come against us! Through Christ we are more than conquerors over fear, doubt, lack, sickness, the devil, unforgiveness, sin, and anything else that is contrary to God’s glorious will of our abundant lives!

"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20 The Anointing of our Father is now alive within us, ever living to intercede for us so that we are saved to the uttermost!

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3 John 1:2 Our Father desires for us to be prosperous and healthy and He has not lied about the Truth that He will cause His wishes to come to pass in our lives! God will do superabundantly, exceedingly above all that we ask or think and He will do it by His power that is at work within us! So our health and prosperity should be massive! Through Christ we will prosper in our spirits, souls, and bodies far above and exceedingly beyond anything we can ever think of or ever dare to ask for! God is not a man that He should lie!

Here are just 22 scriptures that our Father, Who is God, is not able to lie about! Think of all the others that He has spoken. Go find any scripture in the Bible and then praise God that He didn’t lie about it! Praise Him that He will cause it to come to pass in our lives! And thank Him that He will do superabundantly above all that we can even think of regarding it! Look up verses that talk about us being pure even as He is pure. Find verses that speak of us being holy, sanctified, perfect, and mature. Find verses that speak of love, faith, and hope and then thank God that He is causing them to come to pass in our lives and that His Spirit is right now praying for them to be realized in our lives with unspeakable utterances! We are saved to the uttermost and today is the day of our salvation!
