The Blood Of Jesus Sanctifies Us Wholly

"Wherefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate." Hebrews 13:12

The Blood of Jesus allows God to sanctify us. The Greek word for sanctified is, Hagiazo, Strong’s Concordance Number 37, it means:

to render or acknowledge, or to be venerable or hallow
to separate from profane things and dedicate to God
consecrate things to God
dedicate people to God
to purify
to cleanse externally
to purify by expiation: free from the guilt of sin
to purify internally by renewing of the soul

Because of the Blood of Christ we are now hallowed, we are now separated from profane things, we are now consecrated to God, we are now cleansed externally and internally, and we are now free from the guilt of sin! The Blood of our Lord and Savior, of our Friend, of our Head, our Shepherd Jesus, has made us all of these things and His Blood has allowed our Father to perfect us. Jesus' Blood has allowed God to perform every good work through us and to do that which is pleasing to Him. We have been redeemed with the very Blood of God and His Blood is powerful stuff!

"Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot;" 1 Peter 1:18-19
