Revelation 5:5

5 Then one of the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin] said to me, Stop weeping! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root (Source) of David, has won (has overcome and conquered)! He can open the scroll and break its seven seals!
Notice that the elder shares the Truth that Jesus has won. Th elder does not tell John that Jesus will win, but that He has won! Jesus is the only power that can unleash the Truth. For those of us that are saved, there comes great victory with the unsealing of the scroll. Because we currently live in the victory of Christ. For those who are not saved, great tribulation. Remember this Truth here though, even the unsaved have God as their Father, whether they confess and believe it or not. Our Father’s wrath for the unsaved has to be perfect, so even in His wrath there has to be grace, compassion, and forgiveness for His kids. Our Father’s wrath is not poured out on people to just get even with them, it is to correct His children and lead them to the Truth that will set them free. Our Father will allow bad things to happen to bring our eternal souls to the Truth. The flesh will die, but that is alright because our Father will just raise it up. It is our souls that trials and tribulations strengthen.
Regardless of the state of ones soul, we are shown that Jesus is in complete control of breaking open the seals. For us, His body, His friends, this brings peace, because the Truth sets us free. The opening of the Seven Seals bring us peace because we are one with Jesus and we have passed from death unto life, just as Jesus has. Through Christ we are not appointed unto wrath and there is now no condemnation for us, Romans 8:1. So let the seals be broken and let the Truth and the consequences of the Truth rush from the scroll, the perfect love our Father has cast out all fear from us.
[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Colossians 2:15
And the Ever-living One [I am living in the eternity of the eternities]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades (the realm of the dead). Revelation 1:18
Jesus is strong enough to make the secrets of God known to us. That is why He came, not just so that we could spend eternity with our Father, but so that everything that He is and everything that He has could be made known to us, John 17:26. The front and the back of the scroll is filled with our Father’s Truth, and Jesus makes it all known to us. This is our Lord’s Revelation of the Truth and it is our Father’s will that we know it in its entirety!
