End of Times Matthew 24:15-20

15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege [the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate], spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place—let the reader take notice and ponder and consider and heed [this]—

When we see our Father begin to use His truly chosen ones to preach the Truth, we are also to look for the anti-christ, who is actually not a man, coming into power in the flesh, Revelation 11:7, Revelation 19:20. The power of our Father mightily working through us will come first, because this is the one true sign of Jesus return. But after our Father begins to use us He will also allow the anti-christ to come in the flesh. The abomination comes in flesh, which is the true Temple of our Father, 1 Corinthians 3:17. The abomination is that man will be taking credit for controlling and directing our Father. They will be following anti-christ, which is anti totally being controlled by our Father. They will be speaking blasphemy because they will boldly proclaim that they have believed that they have first chosen and that that have the faith needed to make our Father work in their lives. They will take credit for the things of our Father, making Him reactive to their wishes instead of us being reactive to His.

Many look for a third Temple to be rebuilt, but the Truth is that we are the Temple. The abomination occurs in flesh, not a Temple made with hands.

16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;

17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down and go into the house to take anything;

18 And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his overcoat.

19 And alas for the women who are pregnant and for those who have nursing babies in those days!

20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.

Jesus changes from the end of the world to the end of Israel as they knew it here in verse 16. We know this because He tells the people to pray that their flight be not in the winter or the Sabbath. The Great Tribulation lasts for 3 1/2 years, Revelation 112-3 & Revelation 12:14. So why would He tell us to pray for something that was impossible?

Also Jesus tells the people here to flee into the mountains. How could we be giving food and provision to the needy if we were in the mountains, Matthew 24:45-47? Where in the New Testament are we ever shown that the anointed who were filled with God flee from telling the lost the Truth? How could we go to all of the world and preach the Gospel to every nation, tongue, and tribe if we were in the mountains? So this is Jesus talking to the people of Israel about the destruction of their nation, which happened. Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple in 70 AD and there has not been a Jewish Temple since.
