And if anyone wants
to sue you and take your undershirt (tunic), let him have your coat also. Matthew 5:40
And if anyone forces you
to go one mile, go with him two
[miles]. Matthew 5:41
But if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so
doing you will heap burning coals upon his head. Romans 12:20
Right now there are a
lot of Christian businesses that are totally taking the wrong approach when it comes
to serving homosexual couples. Instead of refusing to serve them, these
businesses should serve them by giving them more than what they are asking for.
Let’s face it; many of these law suits against Christian businesses are being
waged by radical homosexuals with an agenda of attacking Christianity. So what
these businesses need to do is follow what Jesus tells us to do and that is
over serve those who would seek our destruction. If a homosexual couple wants a
wedding cake, bake them cupcakes too.
[No] for God
selected (deliberately chose) what in the world is foolish to
put the wise to shame, and what the world
calls weak to put the strong to shame. 1 Corinthians 1:27
It sounds foolish, but
our Lord tells us, and He actually empowers us, to over serve those who would try
to harm us. People will say that we are weak, but the foolishness of being
empowered by the Holy Spirit to over serve those who would seek our harm is
the wisest thing that we can ever do.
Even as it is
written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and
counted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet amid all
these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory
through Him Who loved us. Romans 8:36-37
But I say to you, Do not resist the
evil man [who injures you]; but if anyone strikes you on the right jaw or cheek, turn to him the other one too.
Matthew 5:39
Faith comes for us by hearing and it
is the Truth of our Father, not the wisdom of man, that will set us free.
