We Are Strong In Jesus

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might." Ephesians 6:10

Think about Jesus’ might for a minute, and as you consider His immense abilities, think about the Truth that we are now strong in it. We are strong in the power of Jesus’ might each and every day!

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13

Jesus told the weather to be what He desired it to be and it was. He told water to become the best wine and it obeyed Him! He told the dead to live and they did! He was hated and yet He loved! He spoke with God and heard from God and never doubted what He heard! He endured the brutal death of the Cross for the joy of being able to serve us! He raised Himself up from the dead! He ever lives to intercede for us. He is the Alpha and the Omega, He is the First and the Last, He is the Great I Am, and we are now strong in the power of His might! We have been Anointed with the power of the Creator of it all and we are now strong in the power of His might!

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” Romans 8:37 We are now strong in Jesus, because Jesus is now strong in us! We are one with Jesus and He is One with God. Jesus is in us, through us, above us, and behind us. We are strong because we have been made perfect in Him. We are strong because we have God's very Spirit dwelling within us. We are strong because God is for us, and nothing can be against us.

“For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:29-31 We are strong because our Father, Who is God, loves us!

The world claims to have powers and forces that no man can withstand, a tornado, a hurricane, an earthquake, who can stand against such things? Jesus can and He did, His might is able to tell the natural forces of this world to cease, and we are strong in the power of His might. “And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39 People say there are only two certain things in this world, death and taxes! Jesus overcame death and He paid His taxes miraculously! “Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for Me and thee.” Matthew 17:27 We are now strong in the power of this Godly might!

What about a fire, can Jesus walk through fire and not be harmed, of course He can and we can be strong in the power of His might. “And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counselors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.” Daniel 3:23-27

What about a parent who has harmed us, can the power of Jesus’ might allow forgive them for that wrong? Absolutely, so we too can be strong in the power of that might. Recessions, terrorism, hatred, sickness, fear, all of these are powers that hold absolutely no ability against Jesus, and we are now one with Him! We have the very presence and power of the Living God dwelling within us, and we too are strong in the power of His might, and the result is that these things have no abilities against us. “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17

All things have been placed under Jesus’ feet! He has been raised up and is seated with God in power! He is the Beginning and the Ending! We are in Christ, and He is our Head, so as He is, so are we, because we are His body! This is what we should be and this is how we can be. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us, because He can do all things through us! We are more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us, because He has conquered everything for us! Greater is He that is in us, than He that is in the world. Our Father is for us, who can be against us? No weapon that is formed against us can prosper, because no weapon can prosper against Him! We are new creatures in Christ, old things are passed away, and all things have become new! We are now strong in the power of His might, our strength is measured by Jesus’ strength, and His strength is limitless!

Father we come to you in the Name of Jesus our Lord and Savior and ask that we become mature in the power of this Truth! Father I thank You that Jesus Authors and Finishes our faith to believe and trust in the power that You possess! That we know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Your strength is always working for us and through us. Father I thank You that we have Jesus’ peace, that passes all understanding, that You have favored us with the power of Your strength, and that we love You enough and those in the world enough to allow You to fully use it through us, in love and compassion, and in power and demonstration, as You serve the needs of the world through us! Thank You Father and may You always be glorified within us!
