Quick Proof Of No Pre-Tribulation Rapture

Then I saw thrones, and sitting on them were those to whom authority to act as judges and to pass sentence was entrusted. Also I saw the souls of those who had been slain with axes [beheaded] for their witnessing to Jesus and [for preaching and testifying] for the Word of God, and who had refused to pay homage to the beast or his statue and had not accepted his mark or permitted it to be stamped on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived again and ruled with Christ (the Messiah) a thousand years. The remainder of the dead were not restored to life again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Revelation 20:4-5

John was shown by Jesus the saved children of God her in Revelation 20. John was shown here those who were saved before the Great Tribulation and those who were saved during the Great Tribulation. He was shown the power that will be given unto us to rule with Jesus. And he was also shown that the unsaved where clearly not part of this first resurrection.

Remember in Revelation 20, Jesus clearly shows John that this is the first resurrection and He clearly tells us that it takes place after satan is bound in thrown into the pit for a thousand years of captivity. Which takes place at at the end of the great Tribulation. Now with all of that Truth being laid down, let's read 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed). In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed).

The Truth is that those of us who are saved and alive when Jesus returns will in no way precede those of us who are saved and have died in Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:15. We are shown that the dead in Christ clearly rise first to be transformed, then those of us who are alive are transformed. We are also shown that the first resurrection does not occur until after the Great Tribulation has ended. Scripturally there is no proof of a pre-tribulation rapture of the saints, but there is clearly a contradiction to this belief. If we were raised up seven years before Jesus' return, the living in Christ would have to precede the dead in Christ who are not raised until the first resurrection that takes place at the end of the Great Tribulation.

I fully agree with you Brad. Those that believe in the Rapture are being decieved.

It was great to hear from you Darrell. I believe that the Holy Spirit is beginning to show us the Truth and the Truth about the end of this age isn't something to be feared by the saved but treasured. I honestly believe that God will use us as never before and the world will see our Father's love and power flowing through us as never before.

The pre-tribulation rapture is the biggest lie that Satan has ever hatched out of his incubator of DEMONS. Anyone that can read should be able to determine that the church (Christian's) would be changed at the last trump 1st Corinthians 15:52. Another passage found in 2 Thessalonians. 2:1-4 that the man of sin will be revealed before the Day Of The Lord. If only Christians would study instead of just listening to a preacher. Paul instructs us to in 2 TIMOTHY 2:15 STUDY to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Earl D.

[Hi Brad. Just found your great site. Also saw this web bit!]

PRETRIB RAPTURE STEALTH !

Many evangelicals believe that Christ will "rapture" them to heaven years before the second coming and (most importantly) well BEFORE Antichrist and his "tribulation." But Acts 2:34, 35 reveal that Jesus is at the Father's right hand in heaven until He leaves to destroy His earthly foes at the second coming. And Acts 3:21 says that Jesus “must” stay in heaven with the Father "until the times of restitution of all things” which includes, says Scofield, “the restoration of the theocracy under David’s Son” which obviously can’t begin before or during Antichrist’s reign. ("The Rapture Question," by the long time No. 1 pretrib authority John Walvoord, didn't dare to even list, in its scripture index, the above verses! They were also too hot for John Darby - the so-called "father of dispensationalism" - to list in the scripture index in his "Letters"!)
Paul explains the “times and the seasons” (I Thess. 5:1) of the catching up (I Thess. 4:17) as the “day of the Lord” (5:2) which FOLLOWS the posttrib sun/moon darkening (Matt. 24:29; Acts 2:20) WHEN “sudden destruction” (5:3) of the wicked occurs! The "rest" for "all them that believe" is also tied to such destruction in II Thess. 1:6-10! (If the wicked are destroyed before or during the trib, who'd be left alive to serve the Antichrist?) Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52) to the end of trib “death” (15:54). (Will death be ended before or during the trib? Of course not! And vs. 54 is also tied to Isa. 25:8 which Scofield views as Israel's posttrib resurrection!) It's amazing that the Olivet Discourse contains the "great commission" for the church but not even a hint of a pretrib rapture for the church!
Many don't know that before 1830 all Christians had always viewed I Thess. 4’s “catching up” as an integral part of the final second coming to earth. In 1830 this "rapture" was stretched forward and turned into an idolized separate coming of Christ. To further strengthen their novel view, which evangelical scholars overwhelmingly rejected throughout the 1800s, pretrib teachers in the early 1900s began to stretch forward the “day of the Lord” (what Darby and Scofield never dared to do) and hook it up with their already-stretched-forward “rapture.” Many leading evangelical scholars still weren’t convinced of pretrib, so pretrib teachers then began teaching that the “falling away” of II Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture (the same as saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” ["gathering"] in 2:1 can happen – the height of desperation!). Google "Walvoord Melts Ice" for more on this.
Other Google articles on the 183-year-old pretrib rapture view include “X-Raying Margaret,” "Margaret Macdonald's Rapture Chart," "Pretrib Rapture's Missing Lines," "Edward Irving is Unnerving," "The Unoriginal John Darby," "Catholics Did NOT Invent the Rapture," "The Real Manuel Lacunza," “Thomas Ice (Bloopers),” “Wily Jeffrey,” “The Rapture Index (Mad Theology),” “America’s Pretrib Rapture Traffickers,” “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism,” “Scholars Weigh My Research,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” "Appendix F: Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy," “Deceiving and Being Deceived,” "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty," "Famous Rapture Watchers," and "Morgan Edwards' Rapture View" – most by the author of the bestselling book “The Rapture Plot” (the most accurate and documented book on pretrib rapture history which is obtainable by calling 800.643.4645).
