11 After that I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse [appeared]! The One Who was riding it is called Faithful (Trustworthy, Loyal, Incorruptible, Steady) and True, and He passes judgment and wages war in righteousness (holiness, justice, and uprightness).
John is shown Jesus returning to the earth, this is the second time in Revelation that we are shown that this event happens at the end of times. We were also shown this Truth in Revelation 11:15. Notice here too that Jesus is the only One Who is able to rage war in righteousness. This is another confirmation that He is the first Horseman, the only Horseman given a crown, Revelation 6:2. Only Jesus could wage a war on the things that cause people to fall and not the people themselves. Jesus alone is the Shepherd. Jesus Alone is the Head, the Vine, the Lord, and the Great I Am.
12 His eyes [blaze] like a flame of fire, and on His head are many kingly crowns (diadems); and He has a title (name) inscribed which He alone knows or can understand.
13 He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God.
14 And the troops of heaven, clothed in fine linen, dazzling and clean, followed Him on white horses.
Jesus has a title that only He can understand because He is the only Savior! Also, we see it written again that the troops of Heaven, not the saints of Heaven, not the bride, but the troops of Heaven, are returning with Jesus. Jesus is coming to get us at the end of the Great Tribulation. And we will be caught up to be with Him as He is returning, to be with Him when He cleanses the earth of the Harlot, Babylon, and the anti-christ. We return with Him when He takes over for His 1,000 year rule!
