Ephesians 2:11-14

11 Therefore, remember that at one time you were Gentiles (heathens) in the flesh, called Uncircumcision by those who called themselves Circumcision, [itself a mere mark] in the flesh made by human hands.

12 [Remember] that you were at that time separated (living apart) from Christ [excluded from all part in Him], utterly estranged and outlawed from the rights of Israel as a nation, and strangers with no share in the sacred compacts of the [Messianic] promise [with no knowledge of or right in God's agreements, His covenants]. And you had no hope (no promise); you were in the world without God.

13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near.

When do these verses tell us that we have we been brought near to our Father? Now! Now in Christ we are one with our Father. The Blood of our Lord and Savior is the power that has allowed us to become one with God, just as Jesus is One with God. All that our Father has, all that He is, all of His Love, Peace, Faith, Knowledge, Power, Wisdom, Abilities, Forgiveness, Life, Energy, Health, and Joy, we are now one with through Christ. Our Father foreordained it, He predestined it, for those who He knew that He was going to choose to be the Bride. This is why we remember what we came from. We came from a world where we had no hope to an eternal life filled with all of the power of God. But now through Christ we have every spiritual blessing.

14 For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us,

Jesus alone is our peace. He doesn’t just give us peace, He has given us His very Own peace. The body of Christ lives in and is one with the perfect peace of its Head, Jesus. Our peace is perfected in Christ, so that we may have boldness to stand in the day of judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world, 1 John 4:17.

Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] John 14:27

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] John 16:33
