We HAve Been Given The Best Of God

But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit]; [He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
The Anointing of our Father, which is Christ, has established us. Our Father's anointing has sealed us and because it has, we are able to be taught all things and be used by our Father to do all things! We can now be used to do all things by our Father through Christ Who strengthens us! We are now strong in the Lord with the power of His might! The earnest of our Father and all of His fullness now abides within us! We have the best of God, we have His all, and we are sealed with it until the Day that Jesus returns!

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God’s own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).Ephesians 4:30

The Holy Spirit has sealed us until Jesus returns! Our Father has strengthened us with His earnest until Jesus returns! We now have the mind of Christ and we are now confident through it. We are confident in Jesus’ abilities and we don’t grieve the Holy Spirit by denying our Father the ability to use us to do all of His good works through! We can’t deny our Father, because we are now crucified with Christ, and nevertheless we live, yet it is not us who is living, it is Christ within us Who is living, Galatians 2:20! Jesus has never denied God and He never will and we are now His body. We also have been given Jesus’ mind and with His mind comes His thoughts, through Christ we now think like Jesus thinks, 1 Corinthians 2:16!

I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. John 15:5

Our Father began all of this within us and He will continue to produce abundant amounts of fruit through us! Our Father is a God of action. When He called the heavens and stars into existence He never said stop and to this day the Universe is still growing! Our Father's first miraculous work through Jesus was to turn hundreds of gallons of water into wine! Jesus called upon God and fed thousands of hungry people with only table scraps and when they were full there were basketfuls of leftovers! Our Father worked through the Apostles to heal the sick and whole cities turned to Jesus! God has always worked abundantly through those who He empowers to believe and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so He always will!

DOES MAN'S SINCERITY INVALIDATE GOD'S WORD?

If men sincerely believe they know the truth, does that belief render God's word null and void?

Eve sincerely believed Satan when he told her she could eat from the tree in the middle of the garden and she would not die. (Genesis 3:1-24)

Did her sincerity keep her from death? No it did not.

If men sincerely believe that water baptism is not essential for salvation, does that invalidate what Jesus said in Mark 16:16....has been baptized shall be saved..?

Does man's sincerity nullify the words of Jesus.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.

Should you trust the sincerity of your own understanding or should you simply trust in the Lord.

Pride was Satan's downfall. Pride has a tendency to make men believe that their sincerity invalidates the word of God.

SINCERITY WITHOUT TRUTH CANNOT SAVE ANYONE!

Thanks for the comment. I really don't see what it has to do with the posting, but you seem to want to make a point.

The shortcoming with the tone of your comment is that you insinuate that we are left alone to trust in the Lord. You don't direct the readers to our Father's power working through us. The Truth is we can never believe or trust on our own, it is the Holy Spirit's responsibility to teach us all things, John 14:26. We are never left alone to trust in the power of our Father. He is always greater in us then anything that is in this world. True humility can only come for us when we are empowered by our Father to understand that it is all His power and knowledge working through us. People would be better served by your comments if you directed them to our Father's power and abilities that cause us to trust. Like John 15:5.

You also seem to fail in this comment let the readers know that Love covers a multitude of sin and amen, Jesus has a bunch of Love, Romans 5:18. None of us knows all of the Truth yet. We may have been anointed to know bits and pieces of it. I thank God that the lack of our understanding allows His Grace to cover up any thing that we may be wrong with. So sincerity without Truth does not necessarily lead to damnation, a threat you seem to imply. Our Father's Grace and Mercy have a far larger part to play in our eternity then does our ability to know all of His Truth, Romans 11:32.

As for being baptized, what we are baptized with isn't water, it is the Holy Spirit. John the Baptist baptized with water, but Jesus baptizes us with His Holy Spirit. I love water baptism, but that is just an act, what really changes us is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

You have made a couple comments on Christnotes before and you always hit hard on water baptism. I have yet to see you write about being baptized with the Holy Spirit. I wonder how it is that when talking about baptism that you fail to mention the very thing that excited John the Baptist so much? Your comments always leave the focus on man and never direct the reader to our Father and His Power, Mercy, Love, and Grace. Your comments seem empty to me.
