God Has Fully Equipped Us To Be His Sanctified Children

“And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17

Think for a minute about how fully our Father equipped Jesus to be on this earth as a man and also remember that God was well pleased with Him. Our Father made Jesus! Jesus only was because God birthed Him, Jesus was God Himself, and He was completely and thoroughly made and equipped by God for the task of being the Lord of Lords. Our Father fully equipped Jesus to succeed and He did it by making Jesus completely One with Himself. There was nothing lacking in Jesus, He was empowered and perfect because of God, because He was and is God!

Jesus was fully man and He was fully God, both at the same time. And as we have studied over and over again in these posts, Jesus has done the same for us. Jesus has thoroughly and completely made us and we are perfectly complete in Him. We are now one with our Lords body and the body of Jesus is perfectly complete! Jesus sanctified us, which means He set us aside for holy use, just as God set Jesus aside for Holy use.

As Thou hast sent Me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.” John 17:18

Jesus is Lord, He has His part in the Kingdom of God and we are His body and we have our part. The building is all fit together with Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone. With Jesus we can be used by our Father to do all things. Without Him, we can do nothing and without Him we have nothing that pertains to life or godliness. Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches and the life force of the Vine continually flows through us, we are only because He is. So for Jesus to be ashamed of us, He would have to be ashamed of Himself! Without Christ we are nothing but sin, but because of Jesus and because of the Holy Spirit empowering us to confess Him, we are continually cleansed from all sin by His Blood. Jesus’ Blood continually cleanses us from all sin and there is now no occasion for us to stumble or fall. This strength and power is according to Jesus’ might and we are now strong in all of the power of God’s might!
