Colossians 4:3-4

And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us for the Word (the Gospel), to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ (the Messiah) on account of which I am in prison; That I may proclaim it fully and make it clear [speak boldly and unfold that mystery], as is my duty. Colossians 4:3-4

I honestly believe that this mystery is not being preached today. Jesus is preached all of the time. God and Heaven are preached all of the time, but the mystery, the secret that it is our Father’s power within us doing everything still seems to be hidden from us. Christ, God’s power working through man, is the only power and that alone is the secret. It’s all a gift. Christ cannot be earned, He is just freely given, and Christ is given in spite of ourselves.

The Truth is whether we confess it, or believe it, or even understand it, Christ is the power within us. We have died and it is now Christ being greater in us than anything that is in this world. The Truth is that we will always be more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us. Isn’t that wonderful, even if we don’t always believe it, it doesn’t change the Truth. Christ in us will always cause all things to work out for our good.

There are tons of times when I think that I have to do something, even though I know the scriptures tell us so plainly that we can do nothing without Christ. Nothing, that means that we can’t even mess up without Christ. He never leaves us and He never forsakes us. Our lake of getting it doesn’t stop Christ. The freedom with this is so powerful and so liberating.

Father I ask that you allow us all to understand the mystery. When the mystery is understood all condemnation will leave us. When Christ is understood all fear will leave us, all sickness will leave us, and all of the doubt will leave us too. Father you Alone have to cause us to understood the Truth that we have been set completely free from ourselves.
