We Now Have God's Love

“And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:5

We now have the love of God shed abroad in our hearts. Think of God’s love for a moment, it has now been shed abundantly within us, just as it was abundant and full in Jesus, because we have now been filled with the fullness of God! We now have the strength of the always-triumphing Savior Jesus Christ within us, so that we may love as He loves. The Anointing of God has strengthened us so that He can now show His love through us, just as He showed it through Jesus. Think of Jesus’ love, He freely allowed Himself to be crucified, so that you and I might be saved! He freely offered Himself so that He might have the joy of serving us for the rest of eternity; this is the love that has been shed abroad in our hearts! We now love those who hate us; we love those who love us, we love unconditionally, just as God loves! God’s love is active, it serves, it tells those who are sick to be whole, it tells the dead to rise, and it reaches out for those who are without, and freely invites them in. God’s love preaches the resurrection of Jesus through us with great power and with great grace! Faith comes from us hearing that we have God’s love shed abroad within us, so that we will love as He loves! This is now possible because Jesus has strengthened us so that we are able to be the vessels of such love, and through Jesus we are able to believe that we can have such love, and through the power and strength of Christ, God now abides within us!

Love is what allows us to serve. It is what drives us to desire that the works of God be performed abundantly through us. The world needs the signs of God so desperately and we now have the love of God shed abroad in our hearts so that we may be used by Him to do something about it. We now have the Father within us and He does the works!
