What Are God's Responsibilities?

To Save Us: “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13

To Save Us To The Uttermost: "Wherein He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him. Seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25

To Glorify Us: “And the glory which thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one:” John 17:22

To Meet All Of Our Needs: “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

To Teach Us: “But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.” 1 John 2:27

To Sanctify Us Completely: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23

To Make Us Righteous: “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,” Romans 4:6

To Give Us An Abundant Life: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

To Do More Than We Can Think Of With Us: “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

To Keep Our Hearts And Minds: “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

To Give Us Peace: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

To Make Things Easy: “For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:30

To Give Us Joy: “And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have My joy fulfilled in themselves.” John 17:13

To Use Us A Lot: “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5

To Heal Us: “Who His own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

To Show Us All Things Plainly: “Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.” John 16:13
To Protect Us: “And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto His heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:18

To Keep Us From Evil: “I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil.” John 17:15

To Cause Us To Love: “But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.” 1 Thessalonians 4:9

To Give Us Hope: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Romans 15:3

To Give Us Faith: “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

To Insure That We Never Fail: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:24

To Keep Us From Falling: “Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” Jude 1:24

The Truth is this: everything is now the responsibility of God when it comes to us, because through Christ we have now become one with Him. There is no longer any separation whatsoever between the two of us! We are now members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

Jesus Is Lord!

Love, Brad

I am always amazed how He works over an beyond any of my pathetic attempts toward the highest goal - the revelation of Christ in me!
