Love Perfects Us

At that day ye shall know that I am in My Father, and ye in Me, and I in you. John 14:20
The Word of our Father clearly proclaims that we dwell in Love and that God dwells in us, and since God now dwells within us, our love is made perfect.
No man has at any time [yet] seen God. But if we love one another, God abides (lives and remains) in us and His love (that love which is essentially His) is brought to completion (to its full maturity, runs its full course, is perfected) in us! 1 John 4:12
Our love is not perfected because of our own actions, it’s perfected because God is in us. People who possess the love of God, who love perfectly, don’t get there by practice; they get there by God abiding in them. They get there because the Light of God’s love drives out the darkness of carnal hate. We are strong to love by the power of God’s might that is within us and our Father doesn’t need to practice to love! We love because Jesus is within us causing us to love!
I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them. John 17:26
We love because we are born of love; the same love that bore Jesus has bore us! Through Christ we have ceased from our own labors and the perfect love of our Father has perfected us as it perfected our Lord and Savior, Jesus! We are new creatures in Christ, all of our old has passed away and behold everything has become new for us. These aren’t just catchy phrases meant to motivate us to a higher walk, they are the absolute Truth that has set us free! The love of our Father is so perfect and so strong that it has perfected us.
Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17
