Colossians 1:21-23

21 And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father’s] presence. [And this He will do] provided that you continue to stay with and in the faith [in Christ], well-grounded and settled and steadfast, not shifting or moving away from the hope [which rests on and is inspired by] the glad tidings (the Gospel), which you heard and which has been preached [as being designed for and offered without restrictions] to every person under heaven, and of which [Gospel] I, Paul, became a minister. Colossians 1:21-23

Our Father is Omnipotent, which means that He is everywhere all of the time. Now because of Father is Omnipotent means that we are in His presence right now. So according to what He had written, we are reconciled right now. We are faultless right now. We are Holy right now. We are irreproachable right now. We are all of these things right now in His presence because of Jesus and what He accomplished for us, not by our works, so that we could boast. These attributes are all just free gifts, given to us by Grace, all underserved and all unearned.

But our Father also had it written that we will only have these things if we stay in the faith?

It is a reason for pride and exultation to which our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [generally] and especially toward you, with devout and pure motives and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God (the unmerited favor and merciful kindness by which God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, and keeps, strengthens, and increases them in Christian virtues). 2 Corinthians 1:12

And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God], That they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people, and I will be their God. Ezekiel 11:19-20

John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.] John 3:27

We cannot help but to stay in the faith, because if we could leave it would mean that our Father stopped causing us to have it. That would mean that He left us and forsook us. That would mean that He did not keep us until the Day of Christ. Our faithfulness is not dependent on us believing the Truth. Our Faith is dependent in Jesus believing the Truth and that is why He alone is the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
