Renew Your Mind New Man

“And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Ephesians 4:23-24 when we are chosen by God and born again, He creates us in righteousness and true holiness just like He is, because we are born again from His Incorruptible Seed. “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” 1 Peter 2:23 God is righteousness, He cannot sin, it is impossible for Him, and His seed that births us is incorruptible. Satan can’t touch God’s seed, sin can’t be found in it, and that seed is what we are born again of. Through the power of Christ we have put on a new man that is created from the Incorruptible Seed of God, we are born again, recreated in righteousness and in true holiness. We are now kept eternally through the power of the incorruptible Blood of Jesus, and we are to be envied as the Holy Spirit inspired King David to write! We are righteous because God is righteous and we are holy because God is Holy! We are of our Father and we can be no other way.

‘Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.” Philippians 1:11 Being righteous not only benefits us, it also benefits God. Our righteousness that is from Jesus brings praise and glory to God. The righteousness that is given to us through salvation allows God to be Who He is within us. There is no fellowship between unrighteousness and righteousness, none! “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14. God needed for us to be as He is, so that He could become one with us. The way for this to come to pass was through Jesus. Jesus freely gave Himself and we are now born from the very seed that bore Jesus, God’s incorruptible seed. Jesus is our Head, we are His brothers, and we are His body, we are all of these things because we have been renewed with His righteousness. We are one with Him. God has birthed us with the same glory that He birthed Jesus. “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” Romans 8:29 God has predestined all of us who would call Jesus Lord, to be like Him, so that we could have unbroken communion and fellowship with Him throughout eternity!

“Not by the works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:5-7 God has given us the Holy Ghost abundantly and because He has, we are abundantly righteous in Him and there is not one work that we did to earn it. But because of what God has done abundantly for us, He is now able to do all of His works of righteousness through us. “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5 Righteousness brings the godly works of faith! We will be used by God to do the things that Jesus did and even greater things, because of His righteousness being bestowed abundantly upon us. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” John 14:12 This is the Seed that we are born of, we can’t help it, and as Jesus said in John 15, God will prune out anything from us that would hinder us from being used to produce righteous fruit. Salvation is absolutely complete and through it we have abundant righteousness that is from God, and we are complete in Him! “And ye are complete in Him, which is the Head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:10 We are abundantly complete in Christ!
