The Glory Of Being The Temple Of God

"Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

When God was having Paul write that we are the Temples of God, the people knew of the power of the Glory of God that once lived in that man made Temple. They knew that if a man would enter into the Holy Place without being first cleansed with blood, he would fall over dead from the power of the Glory that had filled the room. When Paul was writing that we are now the Temples of God, it meant something to these people. It meant that through Christ we are cleansed; it meant that the Blood of Jesus has been permanently applied to our lives. “For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, Who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:13-14 The Blood of Christ has cleansed us, so that we may be filled with the Glory of God and the Glory of God dwelling within us allows us to serve Him in fullness of the Spirit! The glory of God now lives within us, we are united with it, one with it, covered in it, and filled with its fullness! The glory of God has stopped our ability to work carnally, it has purged our dead works, and praise be to God it has enabled our Father to fully work through us! The Glory of God now does the works through us that it did through Jesus and it will do even greater works, because Jesus has gone to be with the Father!
Faith comes from us hearing this Truth, and the Truth sets us free! Through Christ we are free to be used to raise the dead, heal the sick, prophesy to the needs of the people, perform miracles, tell the weather what to do, and all to further the Kingdom of our Father. Greater is our Father Who is within us, than anything or anyone that is in the world! Today is the day of this power and today we have been set free from all of the bondages of the flesh to be used by God to do the works of righteousness that will set the captives free!
