I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them. John 17:26
He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. 1 John 4:8
Jesus prayed in John 17:26 that the love of our Father would dwell in us. In John 15:26 Jesus tells us that we would have the Spirit of our Father, Who is Love, teaching us all things. Jesus also tells us that Love will intercede for us, comfort us, and strengthen us.
But when the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, Whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth Who comes (proceeds) from the Father, He [Himself] will testify regarding Me.
The Truth is that we are born of Love and Love has called us and Love has chosen us. We have been chosen by Love Himself. Love has justified us and Love has glorified us! And what can we say to all of this, if Love is for us, who can be against us, Romans 8:31! We are now more than conquerors through Love, Romans 8:37, and greater is the Love that is within us, than anything that is in the world, 1 John 4:4! We can do all things through God’s love that strengthens us, Philippians 4:13!
When we were chosen and empowered to say yes to Jesus and make Him our Lord and Savior, we were born again of Love, not of corruptible love, but of Incorruptible Love! Today is the day that Love has made and He has left His joy within us so that we may rejoice and be glad in it! And we are now members of Love’s body!
For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones. Ephesians 5:30
