We Now Have God's Devine Nature

By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in this world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and becoming sharers (partakers) of the Divine nature. 2 Peter 1:4

Through the power of Christ we have now become sharers of our Father’s Divine Nature. So just as the rottenness and corruption of this world cannot touch our Lord and Savior Jesus, they now cannot touch us who are one with Him! Nothing can corrupt Jesus and we are now members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bone, Ephesians 5:30! Our Father has rescued us from this world and He has allowed us to become one with His Own Nature, it’s our destiny in Christ!

Who gave (yielded) Himself up [to atone] for our sins [and to save and sanctify us], in order to rescue and deliver us from this present wicked age and world order, in accordance with the will and purpose and plan of our God and Father— Galatians 1:4

These precious and exceedingly great promises are for us right now! We are justified right now, we are glorified right now, our calling is now, and we are now the sons of God, because we are one with God right now!

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3

Through Christ we have escaped the hatred of this world. Just think about what that really means? When they wanted to stone Jesus, He just walked away from them. When they wanted to throw Him over the cliff, He just walked away. When satan tempted Him, He just told him to leave. When it was time to crucify our Lord, He permitted them to do it. When they wanted to arrest Him, they asked Him who He was, and as He told them, they fell back and to the ground, and He permitted them to get up. Jesus allowed them to do what it is they had to do. And then on the Cross He forgave them all, for they knew not what they had done! Just as our Lord escaped and has escaped all moral decay, corruption, and rottenness, so have we; and we have done it through the free gift of our Fathers Anointing! Now here is the cool part, once He gives His gift of anointing, He never takes it back.

For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] Romans 11:29
