Our Father's Responsibilities

To Cause Us To Love: But concerning brotherly love [for all other Christians], you have no need to have anyone write you, for you yourselves have been [personally] taught by God to love one another. 1 Thessalonians 4:9

To Keep Us From Satan: I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one. John 17:15

To Draw Us To Jesus: No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts and draws him and gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day. John 6:44

To Enable Us To Do Good: Jesus said to them, My Father has enabled Me to do many good deeds. [I have shown many acts of mercy in your presence.] For which of these do you mean to stone Me? John 10:32

To Cause Us To Glorify Him: [Rather, I will say,] Father, glorify (honor and extol) Your [own] name! Then there came a voice out of heaven saying, I have already glorified it, and I will glorify it again. John 12:28

To Perform Miracles Through Us: Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in Me? What I am telling you I do not say on My own authority and of My own accord; but the Father Who lives continually in Me does the (His) works (His own miracles, deeds of power). John 14:10

To Give Us The Holy Spirit: And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— John 14:16

To Give Us Grace And Peace: Grace (favor and spiritual blessing) be to you and [heart] peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:3

To Give Us All Things: Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist]. 1 Corinthians 8:6

Our Father in all of His forms, God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit is responsible to give us all things. We can do nothing on our own, ever! If we know or have faith in anything it is only because He has enabled and empowered us to know and believe it. If we don’t, it is only because He has yet to teach us. If we are doing any works, it is only because He is using us and if we aren’t, it is only because He has yet to use us. This is why there is no condemnation for us, Romans 8:1 and this is why there is no boasting for us, Romans 3:27. So do not look to yourself for anything, only look to our Father. Because He is the source of everything!
