Enter God's Throne of Grace Boldly

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16

Whenever we are in need, whenever we need help, or whenever we need mercy, all we have to do is to go to the Throne of our Father's grace and we will find help in our time of need! And according to God, we are able to come boldly to this place of His grace because of Jesus, our High Priest.

“For we have not an High Priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15

According to our Father we can come to the Throne of His grace boldly, because Jesus has fulfilled ever requirement that was needed for us so that we can. And according to our Father we can come boldly to His Throne of Grace, because Jesus has already been through exactly what we have been through. The Truth that allows us to boldly expect our Father's grace is that Jesus was in all points tempted like we have been tempted! Jesus wasn’t partially tempted when He was on this earth as a man, He was tempted in all points. There was nothing that Jesus did not endure; even those dirty dark secret temptations are included and He overcame them all through the power of the Holy Spirit without sinning! So Jesus is able to fully understand us, because He has been tempted in every way that we have ever been or ever could be tempted! Jesus knows what it feels like and He is touched with the feelings of our infirmities! Jesus knows right now what each and every one of us is going through and since He does know, we are able to come boldly to our Father so that He can help us with His grace!

Take a moment and think about why our Father would say that we are able to come boldly to His Throne of Grace? Would He say come boldly if there was even a slight chance of us not receiving His mercy and help? If there was even the slightest of chance of not receiving mercy and help we could never be bold about it. But our Father tells us to come boldly to the Throne of His Grace, because there is no chance whatsoever that He will not help us in every situation. It’s an absolute done deal for us and the great things about our salvation is that our Father knows what we need before we ever get there. And not only does our Father know what we need, He actually led us there and He has Anointed us with the earnest of His Spirit to insure that we know that we can freely and boldly come there.

Our Father has filled us with His fullness, so that we can come to the place where He can give us joy, pleasure, and delight. Our Father has given us Jesus as our High Priest, so that we can boldly come to the place where He can be mercifully kind to us, the place where He can strengthen us, the place where He can increase our faith, and the place where He is able to exert His influence on our souls, so that we can be used by Him to exercise all of His virtues! We have direct and free access to the place in God where we will always win, and we can boldly go there because there is never a chance of failure!

Let’s look at a couple of verses that confirm that we will always receive our Father's help and mercy to triumph, and verses that will show why we can be bold about it! "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place." 2 Corinthians 2:14 Because we have access through Christ to the Throne of God’s Grace, we will always triumph and we will always triumph in every place! And since we always triumph through Christ, the knowledge of Jesus will be made known in every place. Jesus is not made known to the world by our failures. He is made known to the world because our Father always causes us to triumph, and we always triumph because we always have our Father's complete grace! I need to hear this right now, I am definitely preaching to myself!

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13 Christ has strengthened us so that our Father can fully exert His influence in our lives and our Father is now able to use us to do all things through! We will always have God’s help and His mercy strengthening us, so that He will always triumph through us, and the world will believe! We are now strong in the power of God’s might, and His strength allows us to be used fully by Him! How great is that?

“And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to Him that sat on the throne, Who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:9-11

Through Christ we now have boldness to enter this place of Grace and these verses show us clearly how we should act when we do. Notice the elders first cast their crowns at our Father's feet. They took the very thing that represented their power and authority and gave it to God. They showed that the only reason that they had any authority was because our Father had given it to them and then they worshipped Him for it. Our Father knows what we need before we even ask. “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him.” Matthew 6:8 We don’t need to enter our Father's Throne of Grace and tell Him what is wrong or what we need, He already knows. He knows far better than we know! When we enter the Throne of Grace we need to worship our Father and the first act of worship is to freely cast all of our authority to Him. It’s no longer our will, it’s now only His will! Our Father knows our hearts, so our words aren’t the important thing here, our actual act is. The elders actually cast their crowns at God’s feet, they just didn’t say they would, they actually did it! Then they praised our Father by acknowledging that they were freely given themselves as vessels unto His will! This is how we should act when we boldly go to the Throne of Grace. Jesus alludes to the same thing when He taught us the Lord’s prayer. Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Submission and praise and because of it life abundantly!

We can boldly go to our Father's Throne of Grace! A-men, and the really powerful thing for me is that we can be bold, that through the power of Christ, we have been strengthened to give up our own wills and now only live by God’s will! We can be bold through Christ because we have given up all authority to our own lives and have truly been empowered by the Holy Spirit to give it all over to God. If this were not the case, how could we be bold? We would always go in doubt and there could be no boldness! But our Father is not a man that He should lie and our Father said that we could be bold about it! Praise His Holy Name, He has strengthened us with His Anointing so that we can be bold in the knowledge of His Truth that has set us free!
