God Conforms Us Into Jesus' Image

"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them also glorified. What shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:29-31

Once we truly are empowered by the Holy Spirit to say yes to Jesus and make Him the Lord of our lives, it became our destiny to be conformed, by the Anointing of our Father, to the very image of our Lord Savior! Our Father has called us out of the darkness of this world and we are now a chosen generation and a royal priesthood! “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him Who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” 1 Peter 2:9 Our Father has declared that it is our destiny and our birthright to be conformed into the image of Jesus, and God has justified us with the Blood of Christ, so that we can be! Our Father has glorified us so that He can fulfill His will of creating us in His own image! This is God’s desire for us, and since it is, nothing will stand in His way of accomplishing it! We are now more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us! “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37 In every last thing and in every area of our lives, the Anointing of God is victorious through us! Our Father is going to fulfill His desire for our lives and nothing will stand in His way! Since He has saved us, we will be conformed to the very image of Jesus, it is our destiny!

“By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in this world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and becoming sharers (partakers) of the Divine nature.” 2 Peter 1:4 Amplified Bible We have become sharers of our Father's Divine Nature, and just as the rottenness and corruption of this world cannot touch Jesus, it now cannot touch us who are in Him! Our Father has rescued us from this world and He has given us His Own Nature, it’s our destiny in Christ! These precious and exceedingly great promises are for us right now! Our justification is now, our glorification is now, our calling is now, and we are now the sons of God! “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.” 1 John 3:1-3

In John 17:21-23 Jesus prayed that we would have the same glory that He has and Jesus proclaimed that we are now perfect through our oneness with God. These are the Truths of our salvation through Christ, and since these are Truth, it only makes sense that our Father has given us such great and precious things, and that we should be conformed to the image of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, the Firstborn among many brethren! How can we be anything except like Him, He is our Head, and we are His body, and we are now one with Him! God has given us an Anointed mind that knows the full extent of who He has made us in Christ! The Holy Spirit really needs to teach us all things concerning this transformation into our Father's Divine Nature! We need to stop considering ourselves to be mere humans, because the Holy Spirit of the Living God has quickened our mortal bodies. We are now the children of Jehovah and we have been giving the exact same glory as Jesus, and our Father loves us just as He loves Jesus. We have been made perfect by our unity with God, the Holy Ghost, and Jesus, and now Jesus is glorified within us. Look at the scriptures below, we continue to lay block upon block on the foundation that we are now and forevermore one with God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God’s Word is Truth and His Word is the rock that establishes our firm foundation! We are now one with God through Jesus Christ, God now dwells within us through the Holy Ghost, and we now dwell in Him!

"And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved Me may be in them, and I in them." John 17:26

"That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me." John 17:21-23

"And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them." John 17:10

"If ye abide in me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can you, except ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing." John 15:4-5

It is our Father's will that we are conformed into the image of Jesus. God wants us to walk like Jesus, talk like Jesus, think like Jesus, act like Jesus, have the glory of Jesus, be delivered from the evils of this world like Jesus, and to do the works of Jesus! To insure that He can do all of these things through us, our Father has called us, He has justified us, He has glorified us, and what can we say to all of this? Can we brag about our own efforts? Can we glory in our own abilities? No, all we can say is, “God is for us,” and praise His Holy Name, because of Him, we are now just like Jesus!

Ask yourself this, what if we are not there yet, what if we aren’t as mature as we can be? Does that bring condemnation on us? No, there is now therefore no condemnation to us who are in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:1. So if we aren’t as mature as we can be, what should we do? Well the first thing to know is this, the Holy Spirit teaches us all things and Jesus leads us in the paths of God’s righteousness. We are not alone here, we are never alone, God is our Father, and He abides within us. He shall never leave us or forsake us! God is our Father and He knows better than anyone what He needs to do to fulfill His calling within us! Faith in who we have become in Christ comes from hearing the Word of God, so let’s talk about these verses, let’s ask our Father to reveal their glory within us, and to give us a complete and perfect understanding of His will.

“Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24 Pray for me, and I will pray for you. Look unto Jesus to Author the faith to live in these Truths. Here is the Truth, we are either going to be transformed to the image of Jesus now, or later. If we are truly saved, our Father has proclaimed that we will be, so A-men, we will be! Jesus is returning for a glorious Church, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, and that is a church that has been conformed into His image, and the desire of our hearts, the hearts given to us by God, desires for His will to be fulfilled within us! I have never met a brother or sister in the Lord who doesn’t desire to be more Christ like, but I have met many who believe that we can’t be! But the Truth that will set us free is something entirely different. The Truth is that it is God’s will that we be conformed into the very image of Jesus, and to insure that we will be, our Father has devoted Himself to ever live for us so that through the power of His might and through the strength of His Anointing, we will be! The Truth is this, what our Father desires, He gets!

Father, I ask You right now, in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus, that all who read this study, and all that I come into contact with, and all that they come into contact with, will be conformed into the very image of Jesus while on this earth. I pray that we love like Jesus, we serve like Jesus, that You perform miracles through us like You did through Jesus, that we understand like Jesus, that we see as Jesus sees, hear as He hears, and act like He acts! Father I pray that we are conformed to His very image, as is Your desire. Father I thank You that this goes beyond words and that it goes into practice and action! I thank You that we are now the glorious Church You have called and provided for us to be. No more infants tossed to and fro. But that we are steadfast in You, mature, and fully accepting and fully united with You, without spot, without wrinkle, and without blemish! I praise Your glorious Name, A-men!
