We Are Perfect & Glorified In One

"That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me. And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me." John 17:21-23

The glory that our Father gave to Jesus, the complete and perfect glory that God gave to Jesus, He has also given to us! Jesus didn’t give us part of His glory, not just some of His glory, He gave us all of His glory! Jesus gave us His exact same glory! We have been given the exact same glory as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the King of Kings, the exact same glory that Jesus has, is now ours as well!

Not only do we have His glory, but as we studied earlier, Jesus is glorified in us. As if that is not powerful enough, look at what Jesus goes on to say; He says that we are perfect; we are perfect, because of our unity and oneness with God through Him. Glorified and perfect, that is what we are this day in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6:2

This is what the power of the Anointing of Christ has done for us, it has made us perfect. Look glory up in a concordance, and you will see that it means majesty, dignity, splendor, brightness, and an exalted state. Jesus prayed that God would glorify Him with all of these things, just as He was before He was manifested on this earth as a man, and then Jesus asked God to give the same glory to us! “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” Ephesians 2:6 Today is the day that our Father has dignified us, today He has made us bright, we are now splendid through Him, and because of Jesus we are now majestic! We are all of these things by the power of Christ, so that the world will believe and be saved!

We so often try to raise God up by talking about how bad we are, we believe that this is being humble. O what a retched man I am, I am weak, I am so bad, I do this wrong, I do that wrong, but thank God He saved me. You ever notice how we will talk for 20 minutes about ourselves, then throw in a 10 second God reference at the end, and then say how humble we are? I get a kick out of it! Jesus said it so differently; Jesus said that He will glorify the Father by glorifying us, by giving us His Spirit, and by producing much fruit through us. Jesus said He will perfect us by making us one with God through Him! Our Father does not receive glory by us talking about how bad we are! He receives glory by being glorious through us! Jesus producing much fruit through us is what glorifies God, and God gave us the best He has, Jesus, to do it! And praise God, Jesus gave us His glory, His power, His faith, His Spirit, His love, and His magnificence to live in! He gave us all of Himself; He gave us His all! And because He has we are now glorious and His glory will never leave us or forsake us.

Why was it so important for Jesus to give us such glory and why does He make us perfect through our unity with Him? Jesus proclaims that He provides these things for us so that all of the world, all of the world mind you, may believe and accept that He is Lord and then receive the exact same things. Jesus provided our Father the way to Anoint us with Himself. Jesus shed His precious Blood, and now because of His sacrifice, our Father is able to be as powerful through us, as He is through Jesus, so that all of the world may believe and have the same thing! No one left out, no nationality, no income bracket, and no gender. We are unified and glorified with Jesus so that all may freely have the fullness of God dwelling within them this day. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

So many want to put off this glorified state until Jesus returns, but it is for us this day. We are to be glorified this day, so that the world may believe in Jesus and be saved. People may believe they are being humble by talking about how unworthy they are, how they are just humans, and how they could never measure up. But this message is not what will win the world. The world will be saved because we are all one, God in Jesus, Jesus is in God, and all believers one in them, then the world will believe and be saved. Also take notice of how we will be one, we will be one, and perfected in one, by being empowered with the Holy Spirit to accept and allow the glory that God gave to Jesus to be in us. Then we will be one, even as God and Jesus are one, perfect in the One! God does not receive glory by us demeaning ourselves; He receives glory by being glorious through us. Read John 17:21-23 and ask the Holy Ghost to reveal all of its power and glory to you! He is willing and able and God gives to all who ask!

“That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:4 The Truth about our righteousness is this, everything that our Father required for us to be righteous, has been fulfilled for us by Jesus and the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. Jesus has given it all to us! If we continue to talk about our unworthiness, we are actually saying that our Father did not do this for us and we are drawing attention unto ourselves and not directing the attention towards Him. This is actually arrogance not humility! For us to truly be humble, we must accept these awesome Truths of our Father and allow Him to glorify us, so that He may be glorified through us! True humility knows that we can only do this because the Holy Spirit empowers us to accept and allow it.

The Truth is our Father doesn’t consider us to be unworthy, He considers us to be the vessels that He receives His glory through, and we are the ones that He desires to have eternal fellowship with! Our Father has made us righteous and He has glorified us with Himself, and no man and no thing is now able to take us out of His hands. Our Father has perfected us by allowing us to become one with Him, and the world will believe and they will know that He loves them, just as much as He loves Jesus! God has made us righteous, and the price was high, it required Jesus to go to the Cross and die. Now what do you think glorifies that act more, talking about what we have done or not done, or talking about what Jesus has done for us?

"And all Mine are Thine, and Thine are Mine; and I am glorified in them." John 17:10

"If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can you, except ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing." John 15:4-5

Father we thank you and praise You for giving us all of these Truths and we thank You for allowing us to be used to bring Jesus glory, by being fully glorified by You! Father it is You within us doing everything, and You turn right around and reward us for it! How awesome You are towards us! We praise You for giving us the Anointed Mind of Christ, so that we can actually know You and all that You are! Hallelujah and A-men!
