We Are Empowered By The Holy Spirit To Trust God

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live." John 5:24-25

Salvation really boils down to the Holy Spirit empowering us to believe that God loved us enough to do something about our situation. He has empowered us to trust in the Truth that our Father will always be here for us. We are going to study God's Word, most of the Word that we study will be powerful and beyond the carnal’s mind ability to comprehend. Yet for us who are saved, and who have been Anointed with the Holy Spirit, the Words we read and study will be easy to hear and clearly understood. Because we have the Spirit of the living God dwelling within us. The Holy Spirit gives us life, power, and understanding.

"But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, and bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you." John 14:26 Amplified

Salvation is obtained by being empowered with the Holy Spirit to trust that God loves us. Trusting is believing and believing is hearing and being enabled to accept God's Truth. We are not alone on this journey; our Father has not left it up to us alone to find Him, He is right here, with us every step of the way. He will never leave us or forsake us! Our Father has given us His Holy Spirit and He has strengthened us with His Anointing so that we are empowered to believe and accept what He has provided for us.

We now have Jesus as our Head, Jesus is the Word of God, and Jesus Authors and Finishes our faith, so that we can truly trust in and truly rely on God! I know people who never went to the altar, yet they believe and trust in God's Word. I know many who are not actively involved with a church, yet more than those who go to church, they believe God's Word and believe that Jesus came and died for them. They  have life and have life abundantly. Our Father transcends the world’s traditions and concepts. He looks towards the heart, He discerns the thoughts and intents of a person, and He seeks to covenant with those who truly desire Him.

“And He said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves among men; but God knoweth your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” Luke 16:15
