For
Christ is the end of the Law [the limit at which it ceases to be, for
the Law leads up to Him Who is the fulfillment of its types, and in Him the
purpose which it was designed to accomplish is fulfilled. That is, the purpose
of the Law is fulfilled in Him] as the means of righteousness (right
relationship to God) for everyone who trusts in and adheres to and
relies on Him. Romans 10:4
Christ,
which means the anointing of our Father, is the end of the Law. This is such a
powerful Truth for us, because where there is no Law, there is no sin.
[To be sure] sin was in the world before ever the Law was given, but sin is not charged to men’s account where there is no law [to transgress]. Romans 5:13
For the Law results in [divine] wrath, but where
there is no law there is no
transgression [of it either]. Romans 4:15
For sin shall not
[any longer] exert dominion over you, since now you are not under Law [as slaves], but under grace
[as subjects of God’s favor and mercy]. Romans 6:14
Likewise, my brethren, you
have undergone death as to the Law
through the [crucified] body of Christ, so that now you may belong to
Another, to Him Who was raised from the dead in order that we may bear fruit
for God. Romans 7:4
But now we are
discharged from the Law and
have terminated all intercourse with it, having died to what
once restrained and held us captive. So now we serve not under
[obedience to] the old code of written regulations, but [under obedience to the
promptings] of the Spirit in newness [of life]. Romans 7:6
We
now live and are controlled by the anointing of our Father. There are no longer
any laws on the books that can convict us of sin. Amen, the world would say
that this freedom leads to anarchy and chaos. But the Truth doesn’t lead to chaos;
it leads to power and joy. We now live under the power and control of Christ
and Christ is all about serving the needs of others. Christ doesn’t lead to
fruitless acts, the anointing of our Father leads only to abundant fruit. The
anointing of our Father now controls, motivates, strengthens, directs, leads,
and guides us. We do not need laws any longer that tell us how to act, because
we now the anointing of our Father directing all of our actions. So through
Christ we now only have and enjoy victory.
The
Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and
trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.
Romans 10:11
