According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Ephesians 1:4
And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are One. John 17:22
I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me. John 17:23
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Our Father chose us and now through Christ we are holy and without blame before Him. God’s Truths are awesome! The Blood of Christ is working so strongly for us that we are now blameless. No work can justify what the Blood of Christ, shed on the cross, has so freely given us. The Holy Spirit gives us the strength and confidence in the Truth that through Christ we are living a life without any blame!
We tend to talk about this lifestyle of perfection and blamelessness in the future tense, when Jesus returns. But the Truth that will set us free is that our Father is more than willing and able to cause us to live this way right now! We can never earn this perfection on our own, through our own efforts, yet through Christ we freely have it. It’s an easy yoke to be borne, because we have been empowered to simply look unto Jesus to Author and Finish our faith! Through Christ we stand before our Father blameless, apart from any work that we have done, with free and complete redemption through the power of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! Our Father chose to have us because He is able and willing to do these glorious things through us! Our Father knew the way to make us glorious and holy, and our Father gave us the way, the Light, and the Truth, and Jesus is the only way!
Now He which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
