For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children. We know that the whole creation [of irrational creatures] has been moaning together in the pains of labor until now. 8:19-22
And not only the creation, but we ourselves too, who have and enjoy the firstfruits of the [Holy] Spirit [a foretaste of the blissful things to come] groan inwardly as we wait for the redemption of our bodies [from sensuality and the grave, which will reveal] our adoption (our manifestation as God’s sons). Romans 8:23
I think what is so amazing with these 5 verses is that our Father shows us that we are separate from the creation. Look at what we are shown in verse 23, “and not only the creation, but we too ourselves.” Then another really amazing Truth in these verses is that we are shown that those who are not like us, the irrational, also will enjoy our freedom when we are revealed as God’s Children. “The creation itself will be set free from bondage.” Amen the irrational will be set free from their bondage. And finally the shortcomings of the people are not due to themselves, which ties right in with Romans 11:32, "God has consigned all men to disobedience, so that He may have mercy on all men alike."
Beloved, we are [even here and] now God’s children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God’s children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is. 1 John 3:2
So the Truth is that it will not only be us who will enjoy freedom eternally, but even those irrational ones who have not tasted the first fruits, they too will also enjoy eternal freedom. We are shown that they will enjoy the freedom of us. We are not shown that they will be the Bride of Christ, but we are shown that they will enjoy our freedom. They will enjoy this freedom because they will be our guests and it will be our gift to them. Just as the guests of a wedding now are given food, drinks, entertainment, and gifts, so too will these irrational ones.
And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests. Matthew 22:10
The Bride is not a guest at her own wedding and any bride who is excited about her marriage has a ton of guests to celebrate right along with her. We are no different in our excitement of being married to Jesus and our guests will enjoy the freedom that we enjoy. We will eternally bless those who cursed us and freely give Grace to those who did not understand or believe.
No one is completely satisfied right now. We are all waiting for the day when we will be revealed to the world as God’s Children. On that day everyone will enjoy freedom, because every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.
But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many. Romans 5:15
Well then, as one man’s trespass [one man’s false step and falling away led] to condemnation for all men, so one Man’s act of righteousness [leads] to acquittal and right standing with God and life for all men. Romans 5:18
