Ephesians 2:17-19

And He came and preached the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to those who were near. For it is through Him that we both [whether far off or near] now have an introduction (access) by one [Holy] Spirit to the Father [so that we are able to approach Him]. Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God’s [own] household. Ephesians 2:17-19

So here is a question that I have: just because someone doesn’t know the Truth yet, does that mean that our Father has no responsibility or relationship with them?

But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was pleased To reveal (unveil, disclose) His Son within me so that I might proclaim Him among the Gentiles (the non-Jewish world) as the glad tidings (Gospel), immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood [did not consult or counsel with any frail human being or communicate with anyone]. Galatians 1:15-16

We can see in the Bible that our Father was controlling Paul’s life before He let him know that He was. Our Father chose what He was going to do even before Paul was born, as He has with all of us. So whether we know the Truth or not in no way stops our Father from operating directly in our life’s. Also, let’s be honest, how much Truth do we really know anyway? We may know a fraction more than the non believers, but that is about it.

Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is like little children and when my two kids were little it made absolutely no difference whatsoever if they knew or asked for my assistance. As their father I was responsible for them and just because they may have been ignorant or wrong in no way limited my duties and obligations over them. Now if this is true for us, how much more True is it for our Father when it comes to us?

Jesus has brought peace for all of us because He abolished the Law for all of us, whether we know He has or not. So we are able to lighten up on ourself’s, and that will allow us to show more Grace towards others, especially notable sinners. Are they wrong, yes, but Grace supersedes their errors as it does with ours. There is now freedom and that freedom has torn down all of the worries and guilt of sin. We all focus way too much on sin. Telling someone to stop sinning will never stop it. Sin will only stop when the Truth that there is now no laws to convict us with is understood.

I was raised in full Gospel, you have to have faith to do anything, kind of churches. The preachers would constantly preach about not sinning and you know what, everyone went out after the service and sinned. So telling us not to sin doesn’t work. It is only the Truth that will set us free and the Truth is that it has to be our Father in us doing everything and He can because Jesus was that successful. This is our peace that passes all understanding.
