Ephesians 4:7

Yet grace (God’s unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and bounteous] gift. Ephesians 4:7

Grace is our Father exerting his influence on our souls.

It is a reason for pride and exultation to which our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [generally] and especially toward you, with devout and pure motives and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God (the unmerited favor and merciful kindness by which God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, and keeps, strengthens, and increases them in Christian virtues). 2 Corinthians 1:12

Our Father exerts His influence on each of us differently. Our Father keeps all of us differently. He strengthens us differently and He increases us all differently. We are not all bricks, formed to be the same. We are like stones, all different, yet we still all can be fit together to make the eternal Temple of God.

Just because our Father may be using you more than me in no way means that He loves you more than me. It just means that we are all called and chosen to do different things. This Truth is so important because it eliminates all condemnation and doubt. Never allow anyone to judge you because they believe that you are not measuring up. If our Father needs more out of us, He will cause us to be more. He is our Head. He is our source for everything.

Our Father is our Potter and He is a very skillful Potter too. So He knows exactly how He wants to use us and He is forming us in exactly the way that we have been chosen to be used. Our Father will not fail with us. He will accomplish all that He has designed for us to be. And in the end, we all will receive the same reward.

We can therefore relax in the peace that passes all of our understanding and that peace is that our Father has us exactly where He wants us right now. He may very well be taking us somewhere else, but right now we are where we need to be. God s not angry at us. He is not disappointed with us and He is not upset with us.

Far too often religion will try to bring guilt by telling us what we need to be, but Jesus has removed all guilt from us. We now have a spirit of faith, love, and a sound mind. We  are no longer under the bondage of human ability. We are now under the freedom of being one with the infinite power of the Living God.
