Ephesians 3:1

For this reason [because I preached that you are thus built up together], I, Paul, [am] the prisoner of Jesus the Christ for the sake and on behalf of you Gentiles— Ephesians 3:1

I always like the way that our Father describes us when it came to our relationship with Jesus. Our Father had it written that we are Jesus’ prisoners, that he is His slaves, that he is His body, that he is His clay, His Bride, His branches, and His sheep. So what our Father is constantly showing us is that we are Jesus’ responsibility. Jesus has the duty to keep us, protect us, provide for us, care for us, grow us, and develop us.

Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]-- To the one only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory (splendor), majesty, might and dominion, and power and authority, before all time and now and forever (unto all the ages of eternity). Amen (so be it). Jude 24-25

Little children, you are of God [you belong to Him] and have [already] defeated and overcome them [the agents of the antichrist], because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). 2 Peter 3

Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one].  2 Thessalonians 3:3

Jesus is not a hired hand, He owns us, and He is very good at insuring our success. What I am so thankful for is that His success with us is not dependent on our ability to allow it. We will doubt and fear. We will question. We will mess up. We will get mad and even though we will, none of it will matter, because Jesus is that Great. He has bought us and He never returns what He has purchased.

You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20

Jesus will absolutely mold us into what our Father has foreordained us to be. He will prune us, shape us, empower us, enlighten us, strengthen us, and grow us. Jesus will absolutely insure that we are used to produce much and abundant fruit.
