Revelation 10:11

¹¹ Then they said to me, You are to make a fresh prophecy concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings.

• The fresh prophecy is Jesus. The message of Jesus is simple. It is small, but yet it is very powerful.
• The Word of God is sweet in John’s mouth, yet His stomach is sickened by it. How many times have you read the Word and when you read it is refreshing and sweet, and you absolutely love it? But then the reality of what it means to the lost sinks in and it makes you sick to think of what is going to happen to those whose hearts are not right.
• We see that our sins, sicknesses, and diseases have been born by Jesus and how sweet that Truth is, yet we see people who reject it and whose hearts are wrong with God, and we see them sick and dying and it makes us upset. This is how I see this chapter regarding John receiving a new prophecy, because it will involve his beloved Jerusalem. Ezekiel was given a scroll, a prophesy, about Israel and told to eat it, and it made his stomach bitter as well, even though it was sweet as honey at first, Ezekiel 3:1-3. The scroll given to Ezekiel was filled with woes, lamentations, and mourning for Israel.  
• Yet what we are to take from Chapter 10 is just how powerful the message of the Kingdom will be during the end times. Our Father is going to anoint us with power like we never have had before. Miracles will abound during this time as He uses us to share the Gospel of the Kingdom. We will have no fear, our faith will be as our Father’s is, absolute and eternal. We will be glorious, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish and our service to the Kingdom and the world will show this plainly and openly. Our Father will use us to do the works that He did through Jesus and He will use us to do even greater works. The entire world will see this power at one time. For those who have been called and chosen it will be glorious and for those who have not been chosen, it will be clouded over. The lost will see the Truth working through us, yet they will not believe. They will hear and yet they will deny.
• But relax, because all men will believe one day, even if that day is Judgment Day. They may have to pass through Hades first, but all men will confess the Truth that will set them free. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, which is the requirement for salvation.
•  But if any person’s work is burned up [under the test], he will suffer the loss [of it all, losing his reward], though he himself will be saved, but only as [one who has passed] through fire. 1 Corinthians 3:15

Revelation 10:7-10

⁷ But that when the days come when the trumpet call of the seventh angel is about to be sounded, then God’s mystery (His secret design, His hidden purpose), as He had announced the glad tidings to His servants the prophets, should be fulfilled (accomplished, completed).

• The last days will be a time of great messages of Truth and great power.
• The end times will be a time of great salvation.
• Every nation, tongue and tribe will be affected by the Truth during the end times, even Israel will be affected by the Truth that sets us all free.
• We are shown here just how powerful the message of the Gospel will be during the end times. I was always taught that we want to be out of here, or ruptured, from all of this. But the Truth is that it is the time in this earth’s history when the body of Christ will be used the greatest by our Father.
• Have you ever asked our Father why there is so little power in the body today? Most of my life I was told that we don’t possess great power because we weren’t doing something right. But the Truth is our sanctification is up to Jesus and not up to us, Hebrews 2:11. The body can only do what the Head empowers and directs it to do. So the reason that there is so little power in the body of Christ today is because there is an appointed time for such great power. That time is for the last three and a half years of this earth before Jesus personally returns to rule it. This is why it is such a great sin to follow the anti-christ and not Christ, because it will be so plain to see. The end time message is glorious and powerful and it will cover the entire world.
 

⁸ Then the voice that I heard from heaven spoke again to me, saying, Go and take the little book (scroll) which is open on the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.

⁹ So I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it. It will embitter your stomach, though in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.

• John eats the message, which means that he is empowered to understand it and all that is happening.

¹⁰ So I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate and swallowed it; it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but once I had swallowed it, my stomach was embittered.

Revelation 10:3-6

³ And he shouted with a loud voice like the roaring of a lion; and when he had shouted, the seven thunders gave voice and uttered their message in distinct words.

• The message of the end times will be loud and clear. Our main message of salvation will roar with the power of Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.
• In 1 John we are told that when Jesus appears we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is, 1 John 3:2. So there is coming a change for us, we will be anointed with a greater power and ability during the Great Tribulation. We will be shown more things and things will be clear for us just as they are for Jesus. There is season for this power and it is the last 3 1/2 years of this period in earths history.
• The seven thunders message is loud and clear, it is distinct, clear and easily understood. It is clear because the Holy Spirit is the power that teaches us all things and He makes things clear to each of us. 

⁴ And when the seven thunders had spoken (sounded), I was going to write [it down], but I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders have said! Do not write it down!

• The distinct message of the last days is for the last days. It will be known when it is time for it to be known.
• John is shown great and terrible things all throughout Revelation. He is shown things here as well, he is just not allowed to tell us about it. So these 7 Thunders must be specifics that will show us the time is at hand. There is a season to be shown the exact events of the end.
• What is said here has to just be more detailed information, because Jesus said that we are being shown everything that will come to pass in its entirety,  

⁵ Then the [mighty] angel whom I had seen stationed on sea and land raised his right hand to heaven (the sky),

⁶ And swore in the name of (by) Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens (sky) and all they contain, and the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains. [He swore] that no more time should intervene and there should be no more waiting or delay,

Revelation 10:1-2

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, robed in a cloud, with a [halo like a] rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet (legs) were like columns of fire.

• In prophecy an angel often times represents a mighty message.
• We see again, as we have so many times before in Revelation,  that the message comes from Heaven.
• John the Baptist said that a man can claim nothing coming first from himself.
• John answered, A man can receive nothing [he can claim nothing, he can take unto himself nothing] except as it has been granted to him from heaven. [A man must be content to receive the gift which is given him from heaven; there is no other source.] John 3:27
• All of God’s Truth is first inspired by the Holy Spirit, 2 Timothy 3:16.
• The message of the end times is clothed in God’s glory, thus the cloud.
• Rainbow in prophecy represents a covenant, Genesis 9:13. 
• The Sun is Light, Truth, powerful, Jesus.
• The legs are fire represent the Holy Spirit. Our message of Truth and our testimony of our Covenant is founded on the power of the Holy Spirit. Our message of Truth and love is securely founded on the Rock Jesus.
• John is shown once again the mighty message of salvation that will illuminate the whole world.
• Remember that the one sign of Jesus' return is the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached to every nation, tribe, and tongue.

² He had a little book (scroll) open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

• Scroll represents a message.
• This message is small, that is why we are shown a little book. The message of Salvation is simple, its Jesus is our Savior. It's not a lengthy message or a complicated one.
• The message is for everyone, that is why the angel is standing on the sea and the land. So whether we are called to live in the cities or the wilderness, we will be used to preach the Gospel of our Kingdom to the world.
• The message is open, it's not hidden. During the last days our Father will pour out His Spirit on all men.
• And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Acts 2:17
• John is taken back here to the beginning of the prophecy, the beginning of the end times. Remember that the Book of Revelation is not written chronologically. John is shown the events of the end times in their entirety and so he is repeatedly taken back to be shown another aspect of the events of the last three and a half years of this earth’s history.
• Once again John is shown by Jesus that this angel, or powerful message, comes from Heaven. John is repeatedly shown that every aspect of the Great Tribulation is being orchestrated by our Father. This Truth should bring us great peace, because we are not appointed to our Father’s wrath, but to His righteousness,1 Thessalonians 5:9. We have been sealed and empowered for this time with all of the faith, hope, love, wisdom, and power of our Lord, Jesus Christ, Ephesians 4:30! 
• Notice here too, that the angel has a halo, which appears to be like a rainbow over his head. This is a sign to the saved, a sign that we are not under any condemnation from our Father. Roman's 8:1 is eternal, there is now therefore no condemnation, and there never will be any condemnation for those of us who are in Christ Jesus. So there is no condemnation for us during the Great Tribulation. Just as the rainbow was a sign to the world after the flood, this is a sign to the Bride of Christ, who will be here during this time in History.
• The scroll, or the great and powerful message, that the angel has effects a lot of people, this is why his right foot is on the sea, the populated regions of the world, and his left foot is on the land, the wildernesses of the world. The angel is clothed in a cloud, because His message is glorious, it is from our Father. 
• The message that the scroll contains is also powerful, it’s filled with the power of our Father. This is why the angels face shines like the sun, just as Stephen’s face shined as the sun. The angel’s leg’s are like a column of fire, the power of the Holy Spirit is what this angel stands on. 
• This message is glorious and it is powerful and it will fill the earth. Jesus told the disciples that the one sign of His return was going to be that the Gospel of the Kingdom was going to be preached to every nation, tongue, and tribe, Matthew 24:14. John is being shown this Truth here in his vision, the message is powerful and full of glory and it covers the entire world. This part of John’s vision ties right in with Revelation 8:2-4, when the angel of our Father pours fire, which is the power of the Holy Spirit, out upon the believers in the world. Repeatedly John is shown how powerfully the body of Christ will be used by our Father to preach the Gospel during these three and a half years.   
• The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached during this time with power and demonstration of the Spirit and our Father will preach it through His children as it has never been preached before, regardless of if we are in populated areas or the wilderness we will be used to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. The entire world will hear and see the power of our Father flowing through His chosen ones. There will be no denying that the glory and power is from the Holy Spirit operating through the children of God. 

Revelation 9:20-21

²⁰ And the rest of humanity who were not killed by these plagues even then did not repent of [the worship of] the works of their [own] hands, so as to cease paying homage to the demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor move.

• The rest of the world, the unsaved not the countless members of the Church, will continue to pay homage to worldliness during the end times. Either through false Christianity, other religions, their own efforts, or capitalism. The hot are hot and the cold are cold, there will no longer be any lukewarm. 
• Notice that John sees that they worship the works of their own hands. This ties right in with during the last days men will be greedy, lovers of self, prideful, and arrogant, 2 Timothy 3:2.
• People will have an inordinate love of gold, silver, and other worldly things during the Great Tribulation. This means that there has to be these things, if there wasn't people would be seeking, food, water, and shelter, the basic needs of life. 
• There is a huge push for people today to buy gold and silver to protect themselves from the possibility of a collapse of the world's economy. These people are not greedy, they are supposedly being  prudent, but they are trusting in the world and not God. People are not changing their way of thinking, they trust in the world, this will only increase during the end times. Now for this to increase, there must be gold and silver to be had, during the Great Tribulation.
• Jesus told us to think like the birds who neither gather or store and yet are taking care of by our Father: the Sermon on the Mount. 
• If the world had actually lost all of its green grass, a 1/3^rd of its trees, and every living thing in the sea, people would care less about gold, silver, and worldly things. They would need food and water so that they could survive, not gold and silver to prosper. 
• If all of the things that we are warned about in in Revelation are physical then people would be flooding to God, as people always have during times of trouble. But in times of prosperity, people run away from God. They turn to profane desires, lust, and self. So the warnings must be spiritual in nature and not physical for people to still desire gold and silver.   

²¹ And they did not repent of their murders or their practice of magic (sorceries) or their sexual vice or their thefts.

• Basically what we are shown here is that people need the Truth.
• Remember too that people can only repent because our Father enlightens them with the Truth so that they can repent. There is a time when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess the Truth and be set free. Many will repent during the Great Tribulation, but some will have to wait until the last day to do it. But amen, Jesus was very successful at the Cross and He will give eternal life to all that He has been given and He has been given all, John 17:2.
• And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent. John 17:3

Revelation 9:17-19

¹⁷ And in [my] vision the horses and their riders appeared to me like this: the riders wore breastplates the color of fiery red and sapphire blue and sulphur (brimstone) yellow. The heads of the horses looked like lions’ heads, and from their mouths there poured fire and smoke and sulphur (brimstone).

• Red represents sin and death. The love of money is the root of all evil. Men will be extremely boastful, prideful, and self centered during the last days. Money tends to do that to people who trust in it. Look at Facebook, Instagram, and selfies. People are becoming all about themselves and if the worlds economy is better then it has ever been, think of how all of these self centered practices will expand.  
• Blue represents law. False religion that glorifies man always has a bunch of rules and laws to follow. Then people brag about how they are keeping them and they condemn you for not. 
• Sulphur represents death. To be carnally minded is death, Romans 8:5-6. During the end times many people will trust in the efforts of their flesh and it will not bring the peace that they want. Remember how we have been shown that peace is taken from the earth. Peace is not taken from the Church, but from the earth. 
• For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit. Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
• Heads like lions represents satan who wants to be Jesus, 1 Peter 5:8.
• Look at the world and false religions today, death always follows them, because they are all about law, and their teachings are false, they are lead by satan the father of lies. People condemn, kill, and try to destroy others for not following what they believe to be the Truth. Jesus tells us to love our enemies, feed them, cloth them, and to bless them.

¹⁸ A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues—by the fire and the smoke and the sulphur (brimstone) that poured from the mouths of the horses.

• The false teachings of the world will kill a 1/3^rd of mankind. Once again only a 1/3.  
• If this is a physical death remember that the death of the flesh allows our Father to release people from the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. Look at the Rich Ruler and the transformation that began for him in Hades, John 11. Then look at what Peter wrote about Jesus going and preaching to the people in Hades, 1 Peter 3:20. Then you can see that even though a person’s rewards may be lost, they still can be saved after passing through the Fire of Hades, 1 Corinthians 3:15.
• So Jesus, Who Alone judges and Who Alone holds the keys of death, may allow people to die, so that He can set them free. He will remove the flesh to actually save the soul. 

¹⁹ For the power of the horses to do harm is in their mouths and also in their tails. Their tails are like serpents, for they have heads, and it is by means of them that they wound people.

• The mouths are the false leaders, they issue the harmful message that have people trust in themselves and the world's system called Babylon.
• The tails are the followers they, carry out the sulphur or the wounding because they are the ones who will be out and about with their neighbors and coworkers. They will spread the lies of the anti-christ. 

Revelation 9:15-16

¹⁵ So the four angels who had been in readiness for that hour in the appointed day, month, and year were liberated to destroy a third of mankind.

• All of the evil messages that are in the middle east will be liberated to destroy a 1/3^rd of mankind. Think if the fear of radical Islam is removed and just Islam is allowed to flourish? Being destroyed doesn’t necessarily mean being killed. Following after a lie can lead to destruction as well. 
• Right now the unrest in the Middle East causes the world to have fear. It hurts economies. It affects fuel prices and that trickles down to harm many.
• But if the angels actually unify the Middle East along with the anti-christ’s kingdom. Think of the peace that the world would say was happening. Commerce would explode under such peaceful conditions. Prices would skyrocket and people wouldn’t care because money would be available. 
• Jesus is the only One that brings true peace and people will flee from Him to the world and the anti-christ. Without Jesus there is only death. Following Jesus will come at a high cost. Rethink the 4 Horsemen to not mean physical destruction, but spiritual destruction and you can see how people will be saying peace and safety and be acting like they were in the days of Lot.
• Remember that our Father is in control of everything happening here. These messages have an appointed time, they cannot be released until the church is unified. Or sealed as mentioned earlier in Revelation. So until we will not be able to be deceived and need the world, none of this can happen.

¹⁶ The number of their troops of cavalry was twice ten thousand times ten thousand (200,000,000); I heard what their number was.

• No army can sustain 200,000,000 men. But 200,000,000 people all believing in the antichrist can easily be maintained. 
• Right now there a billion Muslims and a billion Catholics. So what I think is encouraging is that there is only a fraction of that with the anti-christ’s church. I think while the number is large it shows that salvation will actually outnumber it. The number who come out of the Great Tribulation who are adorned in white cannot be counted, while these guys can.

Revelation 9:10-14

¹⁰ They have tails like scorpions, and they have stings, and in their tails lies their ability to hurt men for [the] five months.

• 5 represents in prophecy a judgment cycle. So those who cause people to sin will be allowed to do so for the 3 ½ years. 
• Tail in prophecy means degradation, Deuteronomy 28:13; Isaiah 9:15. So these false prophets and what they teach will bring destruction to those who follow it. Trusting in money, or self, or the world always does bring destruction. Think of how many super rich people who are miserable. This teaching is Babylon and this teaching is what the end time church of the anti-Christ will be proclaiming.

¹¹ Over them as king they have the angel of the Abyss (of the bottomless pit). In Hebrew his name is Abaddon [destruction], but in Greek he is called Apollyon [destroyer].

• Satan is their king, even though they will try to pass themselves off as Jesus’. Satan is a liar and a thief and he will attempt to deceive. 

¹² The first woe (calamity) has passed; behold, two others are yet to follow.

¹³ Then the sixth angel blew [his] trumpet, and from the four horns of the golden altar which stands before God I heard a solitary voice,

• 4 represents everywhere, so during the end times true Christians will be united as never before. We will be a glorious church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish right before Jesus returns. We will be a ripe harvest.
• We will be united in Christ with one voice, one Church, one heart, and one mind. 

¹⁴ Saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Liberate the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.

Revelation 9:5-9

⁵ They were not permitted to kill them, but to torment (distress, vex) them for five months; and the pain caused them was like the torture of a scorpion when it stings a person.

• Their message will not kill people, but the sin which is trusting in yourself and worldliness will cause people stress and cause them great problems.
• Isn’t that great? The false message of the anti-Christ will drive many people to the Truth. There will be many people who are being set free by the Truth during this time, Revelation 7:9. So as these people see us, they will want the Truth that they see abounding within us, the lies of satan are never more powerful then the Truth. 
• Five represents a time of judgment. The time of judgment for the end times is 3 ½ years. 

⁶ And in those days people will seek death and will not find it; and they will yearn to die, but death evades and flees from them.

• Once again, the anti-christ’s message of lies causes problems, but our Father will not allow people to die from it.
• People will seek what they think is the truth, but our Father will never abandon them. Where sin abounds, our Father’s Grace much more abounds.

⁷ The locusts resembled horses equipped for battle. On their heads was something like golden crowns. Their faces resembled the faces of people.

• The false prophets, that Jesus said would increase during these last days, Matthew 24:5, only have a fake crown of gold. They will look religious but they will not be ministers of the Truth. 

⁸ They had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth.

• Hair represents people. The anti-christ hair is like a woman. It is like the church, it looks religious, but it is not of the Truth.
• The teeth are like the lions teeth, but they are not the Lion. They are false prophets. They will do people harm, but they will not destroy the people. 

⁹ Their breastplates (scales) resembled breastplates made of iron, and the [whirring] noise made by their wings was like the roar of a vast number of horse-drawn chariots going at full speed into battle.

• The Breastplate of Christ is righteousness, so the false prophets have what seems to be strong righteousness. Just like the Pharisees and Sadducees, but in reality they will be wolves in sheep’s clothing.
• The anti-christ and his false prophets will come on the scene quick and their message will be loud and heard by many. This is why we are shown wings and we are told of a roar.
• There is a vast number of horse drawn chariots. There will be a ton of people seeking out the false miracles and false doctrine of the world being preached by the anti-christ. They will be loud and heard by the world. They will be militant in their faith. But their kingdom is built on the sand, Revelation 13:1, so it is never on a solid footing. 

Revelation 9:1-4

Then the fifth angel blew [his] trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth; and to the angel was given the key of the shaft of the Abyss (the bottomless pit).

• Satan was cast out of Heaven, Revelation 12:9
• Satan is given the power to release the anti-christ who comes from the Abyss.
• Satan is given the power. He does not have this power on his own. So we are shown that our Father still possesses the ultimate power and authority. 

² He opened the long shaft of the Abyss (the bottomless pit), and smoke like the smoke of a huge furnace puffed out of the long shaft, so that the sun and the atmosphere were darkened by the smoke from the long shaft.

• The message of God will be perverted during the end times. To a large degree it is perverted today by many, but during the end times the anti-Christ will really cause men to look to themselves and away from our Father. The anti-christ will have a form of godliness but deny its power which is Christ in us. He will speak of God, but it will always be in a manner that causes men to look to ourselves, thus anti-Christ.  
• It may be darkened but the sun, Jesus is not eliminated or destroyed. Just like with an airplane, as soon as you get above the clouds its sunny. It is the same way with those who are empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Sun will always be greater in us then anything in this world. 
• The message and the Truth will still be around during the end times and it will still bear fruit. Also remember what we studied in Chapter 8, that only a 1/3rd of mankind will be affected.

³ Then out of the smoke locusts came forth on the earth, and such power was granted them as the power the earth’s scorpions have.

• Locust represent destruction. So when the anti-christ is released and allowed by our Father to be empowered with satan, Revelation 13:3, great destruction will follow him. People will despise and flee from the Truth. They will run to the false success of Babylon which is money, power, and fame.
• Scorpions represent one who causes others to sin. So the anti-christ will seem religious, but his ministry will all glorify man, so many will sin by claiming that they prophesy and that they do mighty works, as Matthew 7 teaches us. They will not confess the Truth that it is Christ in them doing the works. They will be prideful and boastful, drawing attention to themselves. 

⁴ They were told not to injure the herbage of the earth nor any green thing nor any tree, but only [to attack] such human beings as do not have the seal (mark) of God on their foreheads.

• The message of the anti-christ and his followers will not hurt the truly saved, only the unsaved.
• But remember here that countless numbers of people will be saved during the Great tribulation, so the message of Babylon is a failure. Money will fail to satisfy and people will seek the Truth, the only thing that will set them free.
• We have been sealed with the Holy Spirit.
• We have become one with Jesus.

Revelation 8:15

¹³ Then I [looked and I] saw a solitary eagle flying in midheaven, and as it flew I heard it crying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the rest of the trumpet blasts which the three angels are about to sound!

• There will be a loud and clear message heard around the world of what is coming during the end times. 
• Our Father will be using those of us who are here on the earth to loudly proclaim the Truth.
• John is shown a solitary eagle here. There is one message and it is clear, if you are not looking to God, it is going to get worse for you. There will be no doubt what is coming and the message will be unified and it will be loud and clear. Jesus told us that the Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached to every nation at this time. There will not be several different teachings, the message from the children of God will be crystal clear and it will be proclaimed loudly for all to hear. No one will be able to say that they did not know.
• People will trust in money more and more and yet it will not bring them the peace and happiness that they expect from it. It will be a woeful time. People will have what they thought that they always wanted and it won’t be enough.

Revelation 8:10-12

¹⁰ The third angel blew [his] trumpet, and a huge star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it dropped on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water—

• A star is a leader, so a leader fell from Heaven.
• Satan was cast out of Heaven to the earth and allowed to go after the woman who birthed the Lord. So the church will be allowed to be attacked.

¹¹ And the name of the star is Wormwood. A third part of the waters was changed into wormwood, and many people died from using the water, because it had become bitter.

• Wormwood is bitter, satan is bitter, because his time is short. Notice here again that only a 1/3, which means 2/3rds were not effected.
• Waters are often a reference to people in prophecy, but I wonder if it could also refer to angels. A 1/3rd of the angels were cast out of Heaven with satan, Revelation 12:4?
• Many people follow false churches, or false messages, these messages or angels have a form of godliness but they deny the power of it and those who follow them lose their reward, yet they themselves are still saved as ones who passed through the fire, 1 Corinthians 3:15.
• The love of many will grow cold during the end times, they will become bitter, Matthew 24:12.
• But not our love, which is our Father’s love within us, John 17:28. Where sin abounds our love much more abounds, Romans 5.
• These deceived people will judge their salvation on the worldly wealth that they acquire. Look at the seeds being sown of this today. Mercedes are driving down the road with blessed bumper stickers on them. People judge blessing by wealth and that is not at all how our Father tells us to judge. 

¹² Then the fourth angel blew [his] trumpet, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that [the light of] a third of them was darkened, and a third of the daylight [itself] was withdrawn, and likewise a third [of the light] of the night was kept from shining.

• Sun, light, a 1/3rd of the saints will be allowed to be killed for the testimony of the Truth.
• A 1/3rd of the stars, or a 1/3rd of the angels have fallen and have been destroyed by the false message of satan.
• The Moon, the churches will be affected by the lies and destructive forces of the end times. 
• So both Heavenly beings and earthly beings are affected by the false message of satan.
• This ties right in with what Jesus said in Revelation 6:9.
• The message of the Truth will be expensive. Truth will be unpopular, but the Truth will prevail.

Revelation 8:7-9

⁷ The first angel blew [his] trumpet, and there was a storm of hail and fire mingled with blood cast upon the earth. And a third part of the earth was burned up and a third of the trees was burned up and all the green grass was burned up.

• In prophecy hail represents Divine Judgment, Exodus 9:23. 
• Fire represents judgment as well, but fire also represents the power of the Holy Spirit in the Bible. Our Father’s judgment isn’t a bad thing. It's not bad because His Judgment sets us free. It cleanses us and the Holy Spirit is our Father’s power at work on the earth, Hebrews 12:11. None of our own works will ever be judged righteous, but thats OK, because Jesus’ works will and we get credit for His accomplishments.
• Tree’s represent great people in the prophecy, Daniel 4:20-22.
• Green represents kingship. So all of the leaders and so called important people of the earth are caught up in the wrath of our Father. This is why people shouldn't get all caught up in who are worldly leaders are, our Father has a plan and the plan is not worldly government taking care of us.  
• These end time rulers and leaders will all be looking to Babylon, which is the worlds systems and economy for their salvation and thus enduring wrath.
•  For all nations have drunk the wine of her passionate unchastity, and the rulers and leaders of the earth have joined with her in committing fornication (idolatry), and the businessmen of the earth have become rich with the wealth of her excessive luxury and wantonness. Revelation 18:2   

⁸ The second angel blew [his] trumpet, and something resembling a great mountain, blazing with fire, was hurled into the sea.

• Mountain represents a kingdom. So a great kingdom is hurled into the masses of people and it blazes with fire. The Holy Spirit is Fire, so our kingdom will be right here in the mist of all of the end time’s events.
• But right along with our Kingdom and its power will come the anti-christ kingdom. This Kingdom is hurled, so it comes into power quickly. Jesus came on the scene quick, so will the end time church and the anti-christ’s church.  
• Revelation 7:9, remember that out of every tribe and nation people will be clothed in White.

⁹ And a third of the sea was turned to blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea perished, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

• If a 1/3^rd of mankind actually died and a 1/3^rd of all commerce ended, would men be saying peace and safety as 1 Thessalonians 5:3 tells us that they will be? Would they be partying like they were in the days of Lot, Luke 17:28? Would Jesus be coming unexpectedly as a thief in the night? So this must be spiritual and not physical for men to be caught off guard.
• Sea represents a group of people. Sea’s are smaller than Oceans. So not all people, but a group of people. 
• A 1/3^rd of mankind, or a 1/3^rd of a group of these people will be deceived into trusting in wealth and the world during the Great Tribulation and endure the wrath of our Father. Now what is so cool here is only a third of mankind will be caught up in all of this, that means that 2/3rd’s of us will not be.  
• Ship represents commerce, so a 1/3^rd of commerce will be destroyed. If it was actually a 1/3^rd the world would crumble and peace would not be spoken of. So this must mean that a 1/3^rd will be taken over by the anti-christ and His kingdom.
• The Black Horse Rider was given a scale and we were shown that a measure of wheat will cost a whole day’s wages. So a small group of power will cause the Truth to be expensive. To seek the Truth will be frowned upon and aggressively attacked.
• Most of my life I was taught that all of these things that we have studied so far in Revelation were physical. But I do not believe that can be because Jesus tells us that He will come as a thief in the night. The world will be surprised at Jesus’ return and if all these things were physical then no one would be surprised. 
• Remember that Jesus never changes. He taught in parables and it confused the non-believers. The Jews thought that He would come as a King, yet He was born of a Virgin in a manger. 

Revelation 8:4-6

⁴ And the smoke of the incense (the perfume) arose in the presence of God, with the prayers of the people of God (the saints), from the hand of the angel.

• Smoke is the Glory of our Father, so our Father's glory is being seen by John in our prayers. Our Father’s answers are yes and amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20.
• Jesus tells us that He is returning for a glorious Church, without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, Ephesians 5:27. So this verse shows our unity with God. 

⁵ So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and cast it upon the earth. Then there followed peals of thunder and loud rumblings and blasts and noises, and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.

• Our prayers are answered with fire, Fire is the Holy Spirit, so the Holy Spirit is working mightily through us during the end times answering our prayers.
• John answered them all by saying, I baptize you with water; but He Who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of Whose sandals I am not fit to unfasten. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Luke 3:16 
• John 14:12, we will be used by our Father to do the works that Jesus did and even greater ones as the Gospel of the Kingdom is preached to every nation, tongue, and tribe.
• Matthew 24:46-47, our Father will have us giving food and supplies when Jesus returns, even though we will not be able to buy or sell. Our Father will have us sharing the Truth and it will set millions of people free.
• Thunder is God’s voice, so the world will hear us speaking loudly the Truth that will set them free. 
• We are shown here that the power of our Father is poured out on His children who have been sealed and that He uses us as never before! Our prayers are answered beyond anything that we could think of or ask for here, just as the Holy Spirit had Paul write in Ephesians Chapter 3. I believe that we are going to be one body as never before during the end times, because we are told that there is going to be a great falling away of all of the fake believers. 
• Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition), 2 Thessalonians 2:3. 
• Our Father will use us during the last three and a half years of this world to do the works that Jesus did and even greater works, John 14:12. The Holy Spirit had John write in 1 John 4:17, that as Jesus is, so are we in this world. The Truth is that we are more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us, and Greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world! And here we see that during the Great Tribulation there is only going to be hot or cold, the lukewarm will have been separated from the true chosen ones. And with the power of our Father comes lightening, thunders, and earthquakes. Read Psalm 18 and you will see how our Father reacts when His children call upon Him and here in Revelation we read a very similar description of our Father coming to our aide.
• Before the trumpets were allowed to sound, the angel had to pour out the power of God upon His people, just as before the four winds were allowed to come, we who were chosen had to be sealed. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is our power and He is our strength. The Holy Spirit clearly shows us things to come, and He teaches us all things, as He causes us to remember everything that Jesus has spoken. 
• Earthquake represents a major change in attitude. Lightning is bright and clear. It lights up everything for miles around it. We will be used in very powerful ways during the end times.
