Revelation 7:15-18

15 For this reason they are [now] before the [very] throne of God and serve Him day and night in His sanctuary (temple); and He Who is sitting upon the throne will protect and spread His tabernacle over and shelter them with His presence.
  • Notice John sees us before the Throne, not in the Throne. So he sees us actively serving in Jesus’ Temple.
  • We are shown here that we will be protected by God Himself. Remember that the end times is our Father's wrath being poured out on evil and that we have not been appointed for His wrath.
  • The sanctuary of our Father is us. We are now the Temples of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19.
  • Ask yourself this question: what would we need to be protected from in Heaven? But if we are in this world, in our flesh, than we will need protected.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun smite them, nor any scorching heat.
  • The Truth no longer will be against these people who came out of the worldly way of thinking and living.
  • These people hunger no more and thirst no more because they have Jesus. The Truth will set them free, as we have been set free.
  • But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life. John 4:14
  • The Sun is Jesus and these people are no longer under wrath. They will no longer be stricken by the Truth, they will be set free by it.
17 For the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to the springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
  • Jesus will Shepherd us to miraculous things.
  • Just as He did the with the disciples in the wilderness when He feed thousands miraculously with just table scraps. Matthew 24:45-47
  • Jesus’ perfect love will abound through all of us during the end times, John 17:26. We will be a glorious church without spot, wrinkle, or blemish, Ephesians 5:17.
