And the glory which Thou gavest Me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one. I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved Me.” John 17:22-23

Why was it so important for Jesus to give us His exact same glory and why does Jesus make us perfect through our unity with Him? Jesus proclaims that He provides these two glorious things for us so that all of the world, all of the world mind you, may believe and accept that He is Lord and then receive the exact same unity and perfection in God. Jesus provided God the way to Anoint us with all of Himself, Jesus shed His precious Blood, and now because of Jesus’ sacrifice, God is able to be as powerful through us, as God is powerful Him, so that all of the world may believe and have the same thing! No one is left out, no nationality, no income bracket, and no gender. We have been chosen by the will of God to be unified and glorified with Jesus so that all may freely have the fullness of God dwelling within them this day. “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20

So many want to put off our glorified state until Jesus returns, but it is for us this day. We are to be glorified by God this day, so that the world may believe in Jesus and be saved. People may believe they are being humble by talking about how unworthy they are, how they are just humans, and how they could never measure up. But this message is not the one that will win the world. The world will be saved because we are all one: God One with Jesus, Jesus One with God, and all believers one with them, then the world will believe and be saved. Also take notice of how we will be one, we will be one, and perfected in one, by possessing the glory that God gave to Jesus. Jesus gave us His glory so we will be one, even as God and Jesus are one, perfect in the One! God does not receive glory by us demeaning ourselves; He receives glory by being glorified through us. Read John 17:21-23 and ask the Holy Ghost to reveal all of its power and glory to you! He is willing and able and God gives to all who ask! If two or three of us in Christ agree as touching any one thing it shall be given unto us, and through the power of our Lord we can be used to win the world!
