A Benefit Of Salvation: Joy Part II

“These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” John 15:11

The next thing that Jesus spoke to us so that our joy may be full was, “If ye abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7 Jesus is our Vine, and the Vine is the only thing that gives the branch its nutrients and its abilities to produce much fruit; a branch is only able to bear what the vine that it is one with enables it to bear. A grape vine produces grapes, a pumpkin vine produces pumpkins, and the Jesus Vine produces much Godliness! Now we also have God as our Gardener and He is pruning away anything from our lives that would hinder the production of His fruit through us. Because of Jesus enabling us and God keeping us, we are able to keep this commandment of abiding in Him and His Word abiding within us. And if there is anything within us that is contrary to the will of God, anything at all that would hinder the production of His righteous fruit, God just prunes it out of us! This Truth brings great joy to our lives, because God has placed the responsibility of us being fruitful on Himself. The battle is God’s and the victory is ours! What Jesus is saying is this, if we are truly saved we will produce much fruit, and as we grow up in the Lord, we will continually produce more and more fruit! So ask and it shall be done unto you! How great is that, ask for salvation for others, God would that all men be saved, so ask for it! Ask that we may be able to be charitable unto every good work: spiritually, soulfully, and physically and look to Jesus to Author and Finish your faith; it will be done for you as you ask! Ask that God does the works through us that He did through Jesus and that He does even greater ones, and it shall be done unto us! Ask that we actually live in the Truth of taking no thought for our own lives and that we have the mind of Christ, and it will be done unto us! Ask and we shall receive because we now abide in Jesus, we are now one with Jesus, permanently sealed with the Holy Spirit as God keeps us until the Day of Jesus’ return!

This is the day of our complete and total salvation in Jesus Christ, and He is far greater in us than anything that is in this world!
