The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength

“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10

Christians shouldn’t be angry, constantly pointing out the faults of the world. We should be of good cheer, our Lord and Savior has overcome the world and He has robbed it of all its power to harm us. Through Christ we are now the salt of the earth; we are a light to be displayed on the top of the hill, a beacon of God’s eternal hope to all who see us. God has enabled and strengthened us, He has quickened our mortal bodies with Himself, so that we are now able to abide constantly within His love. Jesus has perfected us in our unity and oneness with God. He has glorified us with the fullness of Himself, and we now have and enjoy an abundant life through Him. Jesus has given us His peace that passes all understanding, and His peace now keeps our hearts and our minds, God has given us everything, everything, that pertains unto life and unto Godliness! “According as His Divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue; Whereby are given unto us great and precious promises: that by these ye may be partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in this world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:3-4 We now have Jesus’ joy, because we are now partakers of His Divine nature. We have Jesus’ joy because through Christ we have escaped the corruption that is within the world, and we have become one with His glory and virtue through the power of our Savior Jesus Christ’s salvation! Wow! “Thou shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at they right hand are pleasures evermore.” Psalm 16:11

"Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Romans 15:13 The same holds true for us today, may God fill us with the joy of believing all that we have studied and all that we will study, our Father will cause us to abound in hope through the power of His Holy Spirit, A-men!
