Ephesians 4:25-29

Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another. When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him]. Let the thief steal no more, but rather let him be industrious, making an honest living with his own hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need. Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God’s favor) to those who hear it. Ephesians 4:25-29

I honestly believe that it is the Truth that sets us free. I also believe that our Father had the Bible written in such a way that it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth to us. Many in my life will look at the above verses and think and preach that we have the responsibility to fulfill what was written, but when I read these verses I immediately think that it is Jesus’ responsibility to fulfill these requirements through us. I really do believe that we have absolutely no ability whatsoever to be successful, but even more than that I believe that we no longer have any ability at all on our own, because we are now new creatures in Christ. Every last old thing of us has been done away with, including our own abilities.

We know [positively] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] is under the power of the evil one. And we [have seen and] know [positively] that the Son of God has [actually] come to this world and has given us understanding and insight [progressively] to perceive (recognize) and come to know better and more clearly Him Who is true; and we are in Him Who is true--in His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah). This [Man] is the true God and Life eternal. 1 John 5:19-20

For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3:3

Because we are members (parts) of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:30-31

For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. Ephesians 2:10

I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Galatians 2:20

The Truth is actually that we will be counted by our Father as successful in every last action, thought, and deed because of Jesus’ sacrifice. Grace will trump everything. Will we earn it? No, but that doesn’t matter, because we still will enjoy it. This Truth is the only thing that will actually change the way that we live. Because as long as we believe the lie that says that we have to do things on our own, we will always fail. It is only when we realize that it is our Father in us doing all of the works that we will live in the fulness of what Jesus has provided. This too can only be realized by the Holy Spirit empowering us to understand it.

So relax and stop fretting about things. Stop being anxious about your life because our Father has all of us right where He wants us. Our Father will cause all things to work out for our good!
