7 Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought.
8 But they were defeated, and there was no room found for them in heaven any longer.
9 And the huge dragon was cast down and out—that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him.
10 Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come—the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!
- Satan can no longer accuse us, because there are no longer any laws to accuse us with, Romans 4:15, Romans 5:13, Romans 6:14, Romans 7:4-6
- Look at the events here. Jesus was first born, then He was caught up to Heaven, and when He was caught up, satan and the fallen angels were cast out of Heaven. Jesus shows John here that satan was cast out of Heaven after He was crucified and raised from the dead, not before He was. Think of it, satan was accusing Job in Heaven before Jesus came to the earth wasn’t he, Job 1? The churches power, or the woman’s power, is salvation and our Kingdom is from Christ, and this all came to us after Jesus was raised from the dead. After Jesus’ crucifixion is when He bruised satan’s head with His heel, and after He was crucified is when Jesus took the keys of death and hell from satan, Revelation 1:18.
