Revelation 13:10-12

10 Whoever leads into captivity will himself go into captivity; if anyone slays with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Herein is [the call for] the patience and the faith and fidelity of the saints (God’s people).
  • Whatsoever we sow we reap, Galatians 6:7.
  • Jesus will lead us into paths of righteousness, Psalm 23:3.
  • We are more than conquerors through Christ Who loves us, Romans 8:37.
  • John 17:26 tells us that Jesus lives in us, so His love lives in us as well.
  • We are empowered with the Holy Spirit to slay evil with the Truth, or with the Sword of the Word of our Father. The Word is what is in abundance in our hearts. So we will live in the eternal glory of the Word.
  • With that Word of our Father we will forgive those who abuse us and who harm us. With the Word we will feed our enemies, clothe our adversaries, and bless those who curse us. And They will come and learn from us that Jesus is Lord and they too will enjoy the peace of our Father, Revelation 3:9.
11 Then I saw another beast rising up out of the land [itself]; he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke (roared) like a dragon.
  • Beast is a kingdom in prophecy.
  • Horns represent power, a leader.
  • The dragon is satan.
  • Two represents a strong witness.
  • This kingdom looks like the lamb, it looks religious and it looks peaceful. It is strong with two distinct powers. But it speaks like satan.
  • Think of America. Our people are mainly Christians; we are very strong financially and militarily. Yet our Government, our voice, speaks deceitfully like satan.
12 He exerts all the power and right of control of the former beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell upon it to exalt and deify the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed, and to worship him.
  • America glorifies self achievement. Often times we mention God, but we far more glorify human efforts, rather than our Father using us.
  • We exert anti-christ, while glorifying what we do for God. We do this by glorifying how we serve, how we give, how we believe, and how we do mighty works. We always let our left hand know what our right hand is doing.
  • Americans also seem to love the Pope. He appears on our morning TV shows, our news, and our print media.
  • So if the last Pope will be the anti-christ, the seeds have already been laid for America to support him.
