Revelation 14:1-4

Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb stood on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 [men] who had His name and His Father’s name inscribed on their foreheads.
  • Forehead represents our minds,  it also means that it is clear to see who we are, evident.
  • 144,000 in prophesy represents Jubilee, this shows us people who are free from judgment.
  • Mount Zion represents God’s dwelling, which is His chosen ones.
  • John sees that those who are chosen are free from judgment and that we understand our freedom and it is clear to see through us.
  • Many people believe that there will actually be 144,000 people, but earlier John saw a number that no one could count. So keeping with the spiritual theme of this study, I think the number represents Jubilee. The year of our freedom from debt and the weight of the world. Also 144,000 people out of billions is way to small of number for the success that Jesus obtained on the Cross.
  • Our Father will empower us to not take the mark of the beast, so we will be free from having to deal with the worlds system of doing things. The cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches will be full and completely removed from us. I don't know about you, but I need this.
And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of great waters and like the rumbling of mighty thunder; the voice I heard [seemed like the music] of harpists accompanying themselves on their harps.
  • We are shown that there will be a great number of people who will enter the freedom of Christ and it is to be celebrated.
And they sang a new song before the throne [of God] and before the four living creatures and before the elders [of the heavenly Sanhedrin]. No one could learn [to sing] that song except the 144,000 who had been ransomed (purchased, redeemed) from the earth.
  • John sees the Bride of Christ. The guests of the wedding feast cannot sing this song because they are not one with Jesus as we are one with Him.
  • The guests are not called to serve as we, the Bride, are called to serve. This doesn’t mean that our Father doesn’t love the guests, it just means that we have been called to serve.
  • There were twelve tribes in Israel, only one Tribe, the Tribe of Levi was called to serve, yet the other Tribes were all still dearly loved by our Father.
These are they who have not defiled themselves by relations with women, for they are [pure as] virgins. These are they who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These are they who have been ransomed (purchased, redeemed) from among men as the firstfruits for God and the Lamb.
  • We are one with Jesus. We are one with His body, his flesh, and his bones, Ephesians 5:30.
  • We have been crucified with Jesus, nevertheless we live, yet it is not us who live, it is Christ in us, Galatians 2;20.
  • We have not been defiled by the flesh, or by false religion. our Husband, Jesus, has delivered us from all of that.
  • Jesus has purchased us from among men to serve with Him.
  • We cannot help but follow Jesus, because we are one with Him.
