Trust In Works And There Is No Grace

"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait in hope of the righteousness of faith" Galatians 5:4-5

We like to say that we have faith as Christians, but do we really have faith? Or have we just renamed a bunch of laws and rules, and thus brought ourselves right back under the curse that our forefathers under the Old Covenant lived in? Think of all the burdens that we have under religion, wear this, don’t wear that, our hair cuts, offer this prayer for this and that prayer for that. What church do you go to? Were you sprinkled or were you dunked when you were baptized? Do you use wine or grape juice for communion? And I can go on and on, but if we have faith in these things as our justification, then we have fallen from grace. Through Christ we have been freed from such works, now the only thing that truly matters is faith that Jesus is Lord, and once we have that, everything else falls right into place! Once we make Jesus the Lord of our lives and are filled with the Holy Spirit of God, there is liberty! These are the works that justify us and God is the One Who has completed and fulfilled them in our lives! God stands at that door knocking! He is the One Who has called us and chosen us, and God has given every one of us the measure of faith to accept Jesus as Lord! Jesus is the One Who has sent the Holy Spirit into our hearts to strengthen us and comfort us and to lead us into the paths of righteousness as He teaches us all things! God performed the works of our justification through the power of Jesus. We are now and forever more saved to the uttermost because Jesus now and forever more lives to intercede for us!

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangles again with the yoke of bondage." Galatians 5:1 People who try to place a long list of do’s and don’ts as the requirements of our justification for salvation are wolves in sheep’s clothing. We will be known to the world by our fruits, because it is Jesus within us producing God’s fruit. We now have liberty and freedom for God to do His works through us, because Jesus has justified us through the cleansing of His Blood! We have been perfected for holy use, so that God can now work through us! Jesus has opened the doorway so that God is now free to prophesy through us and He can now use our hands to heal the sick. God is now able do the works that He did through Jesus and even greater ones, and God can now do all things through us because Christ has strengthened us so that He can! The days of do this and do that and then God will act are gone! We now live in liberty and freedom, we now live in the days where it’s God will do this and God will do that through us, and if something needs cleaned out of us, God will do that as well! We don’t need to do works or keep rules to be used by God; we don’t need to do works or keep rules to keep our fellowship with God, the work of the Blood of Jesus has fulfilled all of that. Once we are chosen by God and empowered to say yes to Jesus and make Him Lord, we are permanently justified, and now, it’s the Father within us, He does the works! We have been justified so that He can! And the fruit that God now will perform through us goes so far beyond keeping a Sabbath day, or not lying, it goes into the world of believing that we can have been strengthened by Christ so that we may be used by Him to do all things! Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, Communist, Capitalist, Liberal, Conservative, Male, Female, Young, Old, Rich, Poor, Black, White, Red, Yellow, or Brown, the righteous works of God through us will allow the world to believe and walk in the liberty that Jesus has given! And the least of us has the power of the Greatest of us, which is Jesus, working through them!

"And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;" Ephesians 2:1 "But God, Who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" Ephesians 2:4-5 This is the Truth of our salvation, God is now able to use us, as He used Jesus, because our dead bodies of sin have now been made alive together with Jesus! There is nothing hindering God from being fully involved and united with Jesus, and through Jesus’ Blood, there is now nothing hindering God from being fully involved and united with us! We have been raised up together and we have been made to sit together in Christ. We were dead, but now we are alive! Righteous works are now a byproduct of our unity with God, it is God within us doing the works, and He is now able to use us by the righteousness that came to us through faith. We have freedom and liberty and all without works, but praise God through our freedom and liberty we will be used to do works that only can be accredited to God! We are forever redeemed from the curse of our forefathers; who had to try and earn a relationship with God through works. They were willing to be tortured and even killed for the privilege of just talking about the grace that God was going to give us! So the next time you hear about a group of Christians who are all up in arms over the Ten Commandments being displayed. Pray for them, that they might be set free from the curse and that they might come to enjoy the liberty that we have been called to through Jesus Christ!

Praise God we will be used to perform His works of righteousness. But never, never, do those works justify us or bring us into a greater relationship with our Father. These works are a sign of the Father in us willing that it is time that we are to be used. Look at Jesus’ life. Jesus began His public ministry when He around thirty years old. And wasn’t He fully God from the very moment that He was conceived of the Holy Spirit in Mary? Sure He was, He was fully God from the very beginning of time! But He wasn’t sent out to serve until He was thirty, even though He was always fully God. Jesus was always united and one with God and He was always fully pleasing to God. Jesus never did one work to earn it; He was just born into it! And we have now been born again from the same Incorruptible Seed that bore our Lord and Savior. We enjoy the same privilege as our Lord, we don’t earn unity and oneness with our Father through works, we have just been born into it through His will! The Word teaches us that Jesus grew in wisdom, but He never had to grow in justification, being born of God justified Him and we too have now been born of God! “Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:13 New King James

Thank You Father that we are always fully and completely justified to You through Jesus. And thank You Father that we will be used by You to produce the Fruit of Righteousness that will allow the world to believe and be saved!
